A change from the regular donut chains in the area. Lots of variety, somewhat easy to get to and fresh. What more can you ask for? Stop in and grab a dozen or order for an office party, birthday, or special occasion. Hot and fresh! Fairly priced. They were devoured.

**June 2024: Sunday Morning Visit** I've had my fair share of donuts and let me tell you the donuts at The Donut Hub have some of my favorites! They have more of a malasada taste to it, so it's more light and fluffy than a traditional one. I also really like the citrus treats as they add a nice tartness to the bite and balance out the sweetness of the frosting. The Lemon Blueberry is the most popular here, but I really enjoyed the candied orange on the Orange Circle Signature. The shop is simple and clean, and the owners are very positive and friendly. I would be happy to come back and enjoy more donuts here!

Donut hub is close by my work, and I've been meaning to visit the shop. I finally was able to visit the shop on an early Friday morning at 6:30 am. I needed a pick me up, for a work meeting. The donut shop is located on the corner, in a plaza with ample parking. The store is very cozy and spacious. I was the only customer at the shop, and the owner greeted me warmly. I wanted to try their special donuts. Unfortunately, the owner informed me that he only had the lemon blueberry and hibiscus donuts. He had to wait for his wife to come in. Aww bummer, I'll arrive a bit later next time. I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and a lemon blueberry donut. He asked me if I wanted the hibiscus donut, but I told him I wasn't a fan of hibiscus. While he was in the back, I sat on one of the chairs. It didn't take long for the food to come out. We had a little chat, since I thought he was Vietnamese. He was telling me a bit about his family background, which was nice to learn. Also, he threw in the hibiscus donut and donut holes in for free. I didn't expect that, but it was greatly appreciated! I enjoyed the flavorful taste of the sausage breakfast sandwich. Also, I liked that the bagels were thick. I only tried the lemon blueberry donut, and I'm in love. The donut was so light and airy, with the right amount of tartness from the lemon. I also enjoyed the fluffy donut holes. The price of the donuts are affordable. I'll be back to try more flavors of the donuts!

    1. The donut was fluffy, and the sandwich was toasty and assembled well! It held together well, and the bacon was crispy! 2. The spot has fast-casual vibes! 3. There were only three tables inside! 4. The staff were friendly, and they seem to have a good relationships with locals and regulars! 5. Parking was easy in the morning! Note: There is no restrooms for customers! Photo: The Works Bagel Sandwich, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Hibiscus Donut

First time here, by recommendation, place was clean you can smell the fresh donuts . I really love the art work on the walls. Customers service was great, the gentleman working was welcoming and very professional. Will come back to try their breakfast sandwiches . Thanks donut hub

Best breakfast burritos, donuts, and smoothies in town!

Simon and his wife are so friendly and welcoming with big smiles. They go above and beyond to make us feel special! We usually get Boston cream, blueberry, and sugar donuts along with mango smoothie. You can't go wrong with any of their fluffy donuts, but our favorite is the sausage egg breakfast burritos. Perfect combination of salty and savory. No wonder we keep finding ourselves every weekend at this best donut shop in OC!

I like getting the crossaint sandwiches here. Usually egg, cheese, sausage, bacon and egg. Donuts are good too. Nice, clean place.

Donut Hub has the best Donuts and sandwiches in the Orange area! I work across the complex from them and have been getting their food the last 6 years. The donuts are always fresh and the sandwiches are delicious. Simon, the owner, and his wife are both wonderful people and deserve all the support for their small business.

I just can't say enough great things about this donut shop!! Their donuts are ALWAYS fresh, and they also offer breakfast burritos, which are really good, and breakfast sandwiches which are my favorite - and for just a little extra you can get your sandwich on a croissant - YUM! (*Just a note: they put Mayo in their breakfast sandwiches, which I really like - but some might not. So if you're not a mayo person, be sure to ask them to leave it off) They also have smoothies - which I haven't tried yet. Now that it's been warming up, I'll have to give it a try. You can't beat the freshness of the donuts and hot food, but also the friendliness of the owner, Simon. He'll always greet you with a smile and is just a very kind guy! Ok, so I know I have already mentioned this in my previous reviews, but their apple fritters are on point - crispy and sweet on the outside, and moist and apple-y in the middle. And, if you're lucky to get one first thing in the morning, it will also still be warm - YUM!! And also be sure to get a dozen donuts holes if they still have some. They are fresh and light and so tasty!! Enjoy!!

I've had Donut Hub bookmarked for a while now because of the high reviews and the delicious looking speciality donuts, so I was excited to finally be able to try it. Unfortunately, when I went, they completely ran out of speciality donuts already which was a bummer and surprising because it was only noon. I guess this place is just really popular and you have to come early to get what you want. I still ended up ordering the lemon filled donut and I really liked that! Even though it's more of a traditional donut, they do it really well here because the actual texture of the dough somehow tasted better than your average traditional donut. Alongside this, the jelly had more of a natural citrus taste to it instead of an artificial one. This makes me want to try the speciality donuts even more but with that being said, if they're out of those when you go, I still recommend picking up a traditional donut because you won't regret it. The store overall is the size of your average donut shop and is clean and brightly lit with a few seats if you choose to eat there. There were two ladies working there when I went and they were both so kind and sweet. The store is located in a small plaza and finding parking was not a problem.

Overall, everything lacked flavor, although I will say the red salsa served with the chips was delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

We arrived and immediately the staff was so attentive, coming to assist with the lift outside. And they mentioned that if the lift is down for some reason, they also have a ramp to deploy in the back to provide access, which was incredible to hear. The hours never really worked with our schedule either being from 8:30 am to 2 pm. We started off with the Ube Sweet Cream Cold Brew ($7) and Pandan Cold Brew ($7). My bf absolutely loved the ube cold brew and said it was probably the best he's ever had. He loved it so much that he got another one to-go after we finished our meal so that was a rare occurrence lol. The ube flavor was strong even after everything was mixed together. Smooth, creamy and tasty. My pandan cold brew was also pretty good. Usually I feel like pandan is difficult to get a real robust flavor and you end up tasting more coffee than pandan. I could actually taste the vanilla/nutty notes and coconut flavor. Also very yummy after mixing it all together. Cold brew flavor did end up coming out stronger tho but I somewhat expect that. We ordered the Adobo Rice Omelet ($14.95 - Chicken-adobo garlic rice wrapped in a three egg omelet, topped with adobo gravy, fried garlic & scallions) - This was really tasty and kind of heavy for me. Sooo much rice under the omelette bed lol. I was beyond stuffed and couldn't take another bite at the end and ended up packing like 2 bites in a small box. My bf ordered the Jeepney Breakfast Burrito ($14 - Crispy golden potatoes, melted cheese, chipotle aoli, scrambled eggs. Your choice of meat, served with a side of pork chicharron and Sinigang Salsa verde) - This was soo delicious. The chicharron side was a great crunch and sinigang salsa verde with the burrito made it even better. It was over the top for our bellies already with the heavy breakfast, but I still insisted that we try a regular breakfast item like french toast. Ordered the Ube Fruity Pebble French Toast ($16.95) and it was yummy! I definitely needed more fruity pebbles but that's my preference. Staff was friendly and prompt. The place was packed and I had joined the waitlist online prior to coming. Waited less than 10 min when we actually arrived. I also loved the decorations everywhere with the foliage, light fixtures and even the ceiling fans. The Tagalog vocab on the chalkboard is also fun to read and learn. I like that there's still a modern feel to the place.

The food unfortunately tasted like it had been premade and sitting for a while. The eggs wrapped around the omelette were tough and chewy rather than fresh and fluffy. The French toast itself actually tasted good, but it was absolutely drenched in ube sauce--to the point that it basically turned into French mush. The loaded potatoes were probably the biggest disappointment. The bacon had been cooked to death and was so hard it was difficult to eat, while the tater tots somehow had the opposite problem and were completely mushy. This place has the potential to be a great restaurant, but the food quality was highly disappointing, especially considering how quickly everything came out. I will give credit where it's due, though: the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service couldn't make up for the quality of the food.
