I bought the foot long $4.75 pastrami sandwich last Thursday at 2pm for my late brunch meal; For the price I jus' can't beat it. Donuts Galore is near Raging Waters. From the 57 exit off at Via Verde and go west, it is on the southeast corner of Puente St. or you can exist off Via Verde from the 10 freeway and go north and then east on Via Verde. Donuts Galore closes @ 6pm I think. They have donuts and other sandwiches as well. The service is always friendly and good. read more

The sweet old Asian lady that owns this place is personally responsible for my 20lb weight gain in the past two months. I know I know, most would say it's my own fault due to my lack of self control. Impossible I say, because I find it hard to concentrate at work while I lust after those luscious donuts of hers. The best kept secret here is the honey wheat donut. Your first reaction must be that it is unholy to fry wheat and call it good. This isn't your hippy loving, gluten free, my stomach bleeds if I eat anything with real flour in it. This donut is moist, sweet, and oh so good. If fried dough isn't your cup of tea, she also makes some great sandwiches. I love when you can get a good sandwich and not feel like you got financially violated after you're done paying for it. It's a good thing this place is near my office; and not near where I live. Ahhh... what can I say about one of my childhood stomping grounds? I grew up nearby and was in this place quite a bit. The doughnuts are like most other doughnuts. Not much to write about there. The main reason me, my family and all the friends I introduced to this place throughout the years would go (and still get there when we can) are the sandwiches. One large GALACTICA please! This is a cash only establishment. I think there is a BOA ATM nearby and a Vons nearby where you can get cash back. I've only had the donuts here a handful of times, but they're delicious. Can't go wrong with them. You also have to try the donut holes. They are so addicting! The main reason I come here is for the galactica sandwich. It's $4 for a small and $5.25 for a large. Such a deal! Way better than Subway or some chain sandwich shop. The bread is nice and soft and the lettuce is fresh and crisp. Reason why I gave them only 4 stars instead of 5: there were a couple instances a while back, like a year ago, where I got bad meat in the sandwich. Donuts Galore has very good sandwiches and it's close to where I live so I am a fan. I've gotten the Galactica, Jaws, and Turkey cheese sandwich. All were great. They have a great variety of chips and their sodas are good because they used the crushed ice. I'm not a big fan of donuts but I had one and it was very yummy. They also have smoothies, chocolate milk, and coffee. I just go here for the sandwiches because they are a great for the price. Go here instead of Subway. read more

So simple yet done so well! May thinks I'm crazy because she has a delicious selection of sandwiches but I always stick to my favorite. Let's get down to the nitty gritty...the prices are insanely cheap, they have a large selection, they have tons of different drinks for washing down the donuts or sandwich, and good customer service! My only issue, and it's not even that big of an issue, is they only accept cash. It doesn't really bug me. I just bank w. Navy Fed so it's painful for me to draw out money from the blood sucker banks around this town. If you pay taxes then the customer should care. I walked in recently to buy my kids donuts and juice. The total was $ 3.80. I handed her my debit card and she said "cash only" I was so surprised. She directed me to an ATM that would charge nemesis $ 3.00 plus my bank fee for using a non-branch ATM. BOTTOM LINE. I support businesses that take all main stream forms of currency. It did not disappoint though...good portion, reasonable price, peppers on top, and the bread tasted very fresh. I'd probably get it again. Since it IS a doughnut shop, I decided to also purchase a doughnut, just a regular glazed doughnut. It was good, not too heavy or greasy. I also got a Thai iced tea, which was ok...not the best but not the worst by far. I of course am the biggest fan of the plain cake donuts, iced coffee, and for lunch you will never go wrong with the tuna sandwich on a roll. Fully load that sandwich with mayo, mustard, olive, oil, salt pepper, pepperchinis, pickles, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado. Best sandwich around.
