We had a noisy garage door in our 16 y/o house and had new springs installed only a couple of months ago by another company, which while working, still left the door noisy. I called Door Pros after seeing the excellent reviews in Yelp and was given a 2 hour window for service the next day. JT their terrific technician showed up at the start of that window!! When I told him the door was noisy, he looked over the hardware and advised me that the problem was in the rollers. He said that the rollers were worn but still offered me the option of lubricating them. I asked him how much new rollers would cost and the price seemed reasonable so I told him to go ahead and install new ones. He worked neatly and efficiently, completing the job in about 1/2 hour. Our 4 1/2 year old garage door needed some love. It screeched like crazy. Junior from Door Pros analyzed the door's condition and provided a range of options. I scheduled both garage door opener service and interior slider closet door work a couple weeks ago. The garage door guys called 1 1/2 hours after their appt. time to say they would be another 30 minutes. Needing to get to an appointment of my own I called their office and canceled after not showing an hour later. The closet door guys were an hour late and called I was leaving for that same appt. (30 minutes after I had canceled with their office). When I explained he suggested that I just leave the door unlocked so that they could come in, do the work and leave a bill. We have 2 sliding patio doors. One of the doors is extremely large and heavy. The screens and doors were not moving smoothly and one of the screens squeaked so loud that our neighbors were covering their ears. Anyway, I contacted Door Pros and set up an appointment. Kevin came alone the first time to troubleshoot the situation. He made some adjustments to one of the screens and found that the other screen needed to be replaced, along with the rollers on both of the glass doors. He placed the order, and the scheduling dept at Door Pros called within a week to let me know they were ready to return with the new screen door and glass door rollers. Kevin returned with Alex to complete the job. Door Pro uses an app to let you know when the technician is on the way. Kevin and Alex arrived at the scheduled time, with all the parts and tools needed to complete the job. They worked together like a fine-tuned sewing machine. They knew exactly how to install the parts and make all of the adjustments. They ran into a couple of hiccups due to the age of the framing, but knew immediately how to resolve the issues. I placed a call for an estimate about a week ago, discussed what I needed done and agreed on an appointed date/time. I also provided my mobile phone information. My appointment day (2/16/2022) and window of time provided (between 3 pm and 5 pm) has come and gone. There was no follow up or consideration given for my time and/or my interest. This was the third company I called in as many days. The first two never called me back and door pros did. I should have just called them from the beginning. I didn't ask for same day service but I got it anyway. Gio, the tech, was 20 minutes early. That might be the first time I've ever had someone show up early to a service call. It wasn't a big job. Matthew and his partner did a terrific job replacing weather stripping on our sliding glass door and wheels too so that it glides smoothly. So initially I created a very poor review due to a no show appt. and attitude from the receptionist. (See Below) The owner (Mark) immediately reached out to apologize and find out what happened and asked if he could remedy the situation at his expense. This is excellent business practice and I was impressed with how quickly he addressed my review. I'm all about giving a bushiness a 2nd chance depending how they operate. I agreed and Mark sent out a tech (Richard) within the next 1-2hrs. Richard was great. Very friendly and knocked out the service very quickly. Mark corrected a terrible customer experience and with that said I'll be requesting quotes on further services. They were great. I ask for a quick fix to my patio door and expected a wait if one week or more. They found time to do it today. Gave me a late service call commitment and showed up 3 hours early. They assessed the problem, had parts on the truck and fixed it in good time. No mess. I don't think you will get 3 great guys like I did (how lucky is that) but at least two were required to lift the door.
