She kept on thinking it was the door from garage into house. After three times trying to explain to her what I wanted, I said I'd talk with the technician when he shows for the appointment. I needed a new remote for my garage door so I googled "Genie" garage doors and got two numbers. The first was closed that day on Saturday but "Door Pros" was opened and Mark, the technician would be over between l:00 and 3:00. He arrived, pulled out a new remote, programed it to the opener, oiled the coils, the brackets on the inside of the door, replaced the burned out light bulbs with some I had, and screwed in the overhead motor more securely. Door pros was responsive to my first call. Technician came out, looked at my sliders and determined only one door really needed to be repaired. The repair was replacing the roller assembly at the bottom of the door, the technician told me that the parts (2 slider assemblies) would come to $300.00 and that they would clean out the track and spray tracks with silicone with a total cost being $500.00. They came out and completed the job in less than 20 minutes. Wow, $500.00 for 20 minutes of work and $60.00 in parts. The guts were professional but after thinking about the cost I, of course after the fact I decided to look up the parts actual replacement cost. The roller assembly cost are under $30 each, not $150 each. I don't mind people making money, that's what makes the world go round but a 400 percent markup plus $200 labor for 20 minutes work is a bit excessive. I am going to replace my garage door and will not be calling Door Pros. read more

The first thing the technician did was to say it is my fault, and that insurance does not cover service although I paid already $75 for them to come. My fiancée sent an email through Yelp to get information on our two sliding glass doors. The email went out to Door Pros at around 4 pm. The owner, Mark, responded within 15 minutes and had immediate answers for us. Mark answered more questions and schedule an appointment for us at about 830 pm for the next day! Kyle called me about twenty minutes before he got here to let me know he was on his way. Kyle was here about five minutes before the appointment time. He was kind, professional, informative, and got right to work after quoting me the cost. Kyle cleaned the tracks removed the entire slider greased it, put new wheels in it and was gone in about an hour to an hour and a half. I thought that was very quick for two sliders. I had the misfortune of placing a freestanding closet piece in the garage not realizing it was in the way of the door when I forgot something and opened it from my car, only to watch two of the wheels come off the track and the closet piece being pushed over, causing other damage within my garage. I've used a competitor before and had good luck with them, however, when I tried and tried to call, left messages, waited for a call back (because apparently they were on the line with another customer and would get back to me shortly - at least that's what the outgoing message said), I never heard back. With the garage door now hanging in limbo and my wife impatiently waiting as we had planned on leaving, I had no choice but to call another company. I searched on Yelp, reading the reviews, and almost called an 888 number. My preference is to support and use local businesses. So, as I'm calling the 888 number for another company, I noticed Door Pros and ended the call. I called Door Pros and a human answered! This was great news. After being told I would receive a call in a few minutes from the technician about a time, I notice the Door Pros truck drive up in front of my home. He didn't call, he was there! Wayne got our door back on track (literally), checked the functionality, made some minor tweaks, adjustments and we were good to go. The cost for the service call was very reasonable. The tech arrived at 1PM and had everything fixed by 1:45PM. He even had time to replace the rollers on the door with the ball bearing replacements and programmed 2 remotes and 2 cars.
