This is a place where you feel at home. You want to curl up in a nook, play one of the games they have on the shelf, and dig into their absolutely delicious food. From the staff to the food to the cute little salt and pepper shakers (our set was a gnome on a mushroom), this is a restaurant you'll want to put on your regular rotation. Holy moly!!! YUM!!! So delish!! I had the bananas foster pancakes, hubby had an omelet with the smash browns-- everything was fantastic. The service was also superb! Azalea was super sweet, helpful and simply amazing. The decor is super cute-- bright and retro modern (haha yeah I said it!). Also side note, first thing I noticed when we pulled up was the immaculate flowers that were real and vibrant even in the scorching sun (that's no small feat, props for that as well). I wasn't expecting to do a review so I didn't take any pics, also I don't usually post reviews but when I do it's because it was next level. Doozy's was just that. I have been on the hunt for a good breakfast spot in the area so I had to try Doozy's. The restaurant is very small and was uncomfortably humid inside. The staff was very friendly and prompt. I ordered the carne asada omelet with smash browns and side of scrapple. Positives were the scrapple was good. I found the omelet to be very mediocre and smash browns had a strong burnt flavor. My partner ordered the SOS and said it was very bland. Overall, I would consider this food average /mediocre at best. read more

Doozy's has delicious food and a great family friendly atmosphere. I love their omelets and veggie hash! Everything we have ever ordered is delicious. Their cold brew coffee is amazing too. My two young children love it here, they can always find something they want to eat and they love the little library in the back to help keep them occupied. What a joy it is to choose from a creative menu that brings a new dining experience to Baltimore! The stacked enchiladas are a favorite-yay for hatch green chile sauce. Absolutely the best food hands down around!!!!! I have never had a bad meal on there and I have been several times. This is a nice place. We went on a Sunday and we had to wait around 25 minutes to get seated but the service was fast and very efficient. My food was very good. I got the shrimp salad sando and it was very good! The shrimp salad was very well done and perfectly cooked. It also tasted very fresh. I would definitely go again. We have been to Doozy's several times for brunch. Their food has never disappointed us. We absolutely LOVE the Doozy Bowl. Our 8-year-old can sometimes be a rather picky eater, and she has very much enjoyed having a slightly modified version of the Doozy Bowl as her brunch. My wife and I have not had a bad dish at Doozy's, whether it's the Chorizo Hash, Stacked Enchiladas, their array of Eggs Benedicts, or Landsdowne Lover Omelet. Our one minor quibble is that if you ask for a fruit bowl, the selection of fruit can often vary depending on what is in season and what they have in stock. While this does offer a good degree of freshness in fruit, it can sometimes disappoint our picky 8-year-old when she has a particular fruit in mind. The service has also been impeccable! In particular, we have had a particular server, Zia, several times, and we adore her! She shows our daughter immense patience and is willing to indulge in her many whims. She does all of this while also remaining incredibly attentive to our orders. One of these days, we will return to order form their Lunch menu. We have always picked from the Breakfast side of the menu, but we have seen dishes come to other tables obviously from the Lunch menu, and they look fantastic! read more

I also couldn't get past the flies but they probably can't either. Also the couple across from me spotted a mouse. All that said the price is right our server was just ok. We have been to Doozy's Diner - even once for a private family dinner - and always enjoyed both the food, the service, and the ambiance of a small diner-like venue. Today, however, not so much. The first thing I asked about was a frozen sweet cold brew coffee slush (listed on the menu). "No, we don't have that anymore." The second thing I asked about was the soup of the day (listed on the menu). "No, we don't have a soup of the day any more." Smoked steak sandwich (on the menu)? "Out of stock." Biscuits and sausage gravy (on the menu)? "Out of stock." Do you have any kind of dessert? "No, we no longer have any dessert." Who knows what else was "out of stock"? I finally ordered the Slammin' Salmon, a sandwich on an everything bagel with smoked salmon, pickled onions, creamed cheese schmear, and, curiously, tater tots - right out of the frozen box. To top off this "delicacy," the smoked salmon was thick and tough, to the point that I only ate a little bit of it. Thank goodness for the pickled onions and a bottle of catsup for adding some decent flavor to an otherwise bland dish. The only reason I gave this review three stars is that the service was again very good. I will probably come back to Doozy's at some point, but my experience today makes me think I will give it a pause for a while. read more

I've eaten at Doozy's half a dozen times, and until today I would have given five stars. Today at lunch, not so much. Our server sat us outside at our request, and then ignored us. After sitting for awhile I walked in to ask if we could order, since she hadn't appeared since seating us. Our daughter ordered the grain and greens bowl with no nuts (she's allergic). It was covered with nuts. She asked for a replacement without nuts. What came back was a partial salad: none of the quinoa mentioned on the menu, the "mixed greens" were spinach. Server never returned to check on us or refill drinks; again I went inside to request our check. Left a 20% tip because it was an inexpensive lunch. We'll go back to Doozy's and hope for better next time. read more

I went to Doozy's with my partner and sister for a very early morning breakfast (early as in before 9 AM). Upon arriving there we were sat in a comfortable section, however, it is a smaller restaurant so tables are more compact. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful throughout our entire visit. The food is very tasty and flavorful! My avocado toast came with ricotta, and I ordered an over easy egg to go on top. While I think they put too much lemon juice in their avocado mash, it still pairs well with the egg and ricotta. I would probably order this again. The only big issue with this order is its presentation. I think they should probably lay the toast flat, so you don't get avocado mash on both sides of your slices. Nothing too major. My partner and sister enjoyed their food also and we thought the prices were reasonable. If I'm in the Catonsville area, I will definitely consider stopping by again! read more

I'd read other reviews about the food, especially the smash browns so I had to try them. Just great. We had the blue cheese burgers and the Taos Torta. Really delicious.
