Nice lunch place with family; start with delicious appetizers artichoke hearts, friend calamari/shrimp and potatoes croquettes. Pasta and pizza are delicious. Happy hour available.

We were seated inside immediately for lunch on a Sunday. The interior is super cute and there is a variety of items on the menu to suit everyone's taste. We shared the meatballs as an appetizer and the fig and prosciutto pizza with a side of hot honey. I'd pass on the meatballs it was small and underwhelming. It was my first time trying Neapolitan style pizza, there's not much structure and you eat it like a sandwich. The pizza came in 4 large slices which was a great portion between the two of us, it could've even fed 3 if you weren't too hungry. I really enjoyed it and would love to come back to try some of their other dishes.

I found this spot spontaneously with a friend since we were in the area and were also hungry. This place did not disappoint and was delicious! For the 2 of us girls, we were pretty stuffed. For the appetizer, we ordered the prosciutto and buratta, which came with bread (not pictured). Then, for the entree, we ordered the hot honey pizza, which the crust/bread was soft and crispy. Overall, this was a great spot to grab dinner and the staff were super friendly and kind.

Doppio Zero has become one of my favorite restaurants to go to! They have delicious food that not only tastes amazing, but is a great portion size for its price. The pizza and pasta are high quality, and they always have at least one new dish that they rotate through. They also have yummy cocktails to enjoy. Service is always amazing. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and for outdoor seating they allow dogs. I will always come back!

Ordered dinner for delivery from Doppio Zero last night. A Yelp friend had raved about the spinach ravioli, so I ordered that. I also ordered the Pera Pizza, knowing it would be too much food and I'd have tasty leftovers for the next day. The spinach ravioli was filled with wild mushrooms and ricotta and was nestled in a fondue truffle sauce. It was very rich, but quite delicious. The Pera Pizza was topped with slices of pears, mozzarella, goat cheese, bacon, and a little honey. It was also delicious, but could have used more pears. It was a flatbread pizza, and the bread was scrumptious. Overall, it was a nice dinner and I did indeed have plenty of leftovers. Next time I plan to order the Salad Pera that has nectarines on it.

Doppo Zero pizza was beyond delicious. Super soft dough topped with burrata cheese ,ribbons of prosciutto, arugula and freshly shaved parmesan was the most savory and balanced bite of comfort food. The sliced beef appetizer was probably my least favorite. Just not a dish that wowed me. It had a spread served with it that tasted like tuna. Not exactly sure how to describe it. Profiterol dessert - chocolatey richness and creamy bottom Porto - 10 years was very nice The service was good for the most part, but lacked the level of care that most high-end restaurant would offer. We ended up getting served by the bartender who was trying to close up and not concerned about attending to us once we got our drink and food. Kitchen closed at 10:30 which was about 30 minutes after we arrived. However, they accommodated us with dessert and port wine before we left. It was a pleasant late dinner..

Cute, quiet, and quaint spot to have a first date or date nights period. You can pick pasta or pizza. Or both! I'm a pasta girlie. I had to their Fregola Del Pescatore. It was not too seafood. Perfect amount of seafood to match the amount of sauce and pasta. Always chew carefully when eating seafood! It's fantastic they offer a few vegan options! I must try their Ravioli Vegan next visit. Staff memebrs were excellent!

Another excellent lunch with my daughter at Doppio Zero in Campbell! The shrimp and calamari appetizer is just perfect. The calamari is so tender! It almost melts in your mouth. I don't know how they do that, but I've never had calamari that good. It's a must try! The nectarine salad is a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The mortadella pizza is good, but I wish there had been more mortadella, and a little less Burrata cheese. Great service, and lovely outdoor ambience.

Tried Doppio Zero for lunch on a Wednesday. We were a party of 5 and they got us immediately seated. We ordered Calzone and Salmone Griglia. They were really good. But the vegetarian dish with Eggplant wasn't as great. Last time I had their vegetarian Ravioli and that by far is the best choice out of all their vegetarian dishes. The service was quick too. Food was served within few minutes of placing the order. The place also looked very kid friendly and had high chairs.

Sometimes you go out to eat at a great restaurant like Doppio Zero in Campbell (4 out of 5 stars)and it is a really fun experience. The food is great. The fresh warm sourdough bread has inspired me to start consuming more of this gut healthy bread. They even serve their water in a glass wine bottle (no more plastic consumption for me.) The service was awesome. The waiter even wanted to sit next to you and the kids at the booth. They closed out their San Jose Wolfe location after COVID. The downtown Campbell was definitely a hotspot for the locals. I highly recommend coming here with your family. We ate our dinner family style. It is a top spot in my list; I will be returning with friends who can enjoy their big selection of wine. The current Doppio Zero locations in the Bay Area are: * Doppio Zero Mountain View * Doppio Zero Campbell * Doppio Zero San Carlos * Doppio Zero San Francisco * Doppio Zero Concord * Doppio Zero Walnut Creek (opened in 2026) I really loved the food and the upscale, upbeat atmosphere. Then you go home and to try to analyze why all of the kids do not like the spaghetti with squid pasta. Yes, it was a tad spicy but it was definitely not bad. On Monday I ate the leftover pizza and spaghetti for lunch. Then I realized that that I can easily duplicate everything at home. I am not going to make my favorite corn with baby arugula pizza today because I ate my last corn last night. (Safeway had a digital coupon for corn for only $0.12 each). I have fresh vine tomatoes, mild sausage, and a Home Depot nearby that has a vast array of fresh Italian herbs. The heat has killed most of my garden so I need to get up NOW to build my new garden bed. We are making fresh homemade pasta with Italian sausages for lunch today.

This has to be my most favourite and the best place I've ever been to for Italian food. Our waitress spent so much time explaining the dishes we were interested in and helping us make a choice. I also loved how lively the ambience of Campbell was

I was very disappointed with my experience. The prices have gone up significantly, yet the food portions have become incredibly small--more like a kids' meal than an adult serving. I left the restaurant still hungry because there simply wasn't enough food. It feels like they keep raising prices while reducing portion sizes, and the value just isn't there anymore. To make matters worse, they automatically charge an 18% gratuity on top of the already high prices. I don't feel they respect their customers when they continue to charge more while serving such small portions. As a paying customer, I expect a fair meal for the price. There are plenty of other restaurants that offer much better value and show more respect for their customers. I can't recommend this place, and unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

    Seating
    Jennifer N.

I wanted to really love Doppio Zero but overall, it was just an average experience. The ambiance and indoor space is modern and chic. It was pretty spacious, as it's a corner lot, with extra seating outside for those that want some extra people watching. We got seated right away and our pizzas came out quick. However, the service was lackluster. Our server didn't check on us once after bringing us drinks. We had to flag someone else down to get our check and to go box. The margarita pizza was good with its wood fired crust and just the right amount of cheese, but also it was a little soggy on the bottom. There's quite a lot of pizza options with different types of meat but not a ton of vegetarian options. I was wanting to try their vegan, but not a fan of eggplant and the menu noted "no modifications." I may give them another try at a different location and split some small plates and salads. Overall, it was fine, not great and certainly not worth the price ($19 for a 10 inch basic pizza.) I knew the prices going in, but was hoping for a better experience.

I…read morecan't say enough about the food flavor and the wonderful staff that makes me want to return because of their kind personal touch. We called ahead around 845 to verify our 9pm reservation because we saw they closed at 9:30pm and we wanted to be respectful of their time. Bryan answered the phone and assured us we will have enough time to be seated and served before closing. He was very kind and welcoming so we headed over. We were greeted by Chris and seated immediately in the table that he let us choose. He made thoughtful suggestions on location being by the window, the booth where it was quieter or wherever we wanted because "this place is yours". This is not a typical thing I usually experience when being seated so this stood out to my wife and I. We appreciated this gesture. Once seated he took our drink orders, my wife wanted to try one of the wines before getting a glass so he brought a small sample. Once returning he asked if she wanted to select another or "take this one for a drive". The expression was simple and displayed the thoughtfulness that came from him the entire night. Simply taking time to craft words and be present is something that we noticed and appreciated. We ordered a carbonara and a pasta with prawn. The food came out fairly quickly since we arrived at a time past some of the peak hours. The bread with olive oil and balsamic came out first obviously. The carbonara and prawn pasta was so beautifully plated and presented that we forgot to take a picture for this review. We dug into the food immediately. At this time, maybe a coincidence, I checked my watch to be mindful of the time. At the same time, Kevin walked up to our table to let us know what we are good on time and that, "the back hasn't started the dishes or started cleaning up yet". There were still other parties around at that time. This was another detail that stood out to me. He might have seen me check my watch but to know what I was thinking at that moment and then respond to it is a first for me. This is beyond thoughtful. After a couple more wholesome interactions with Kevin and Chris, we ended up ordering a pannacota. This was the best I have ever had in my life. Kevin stayed for a while to chat while Chris was tending to other tables at the time. I can't say enough about the warmth in this place shown by Bryan, Chris and Kevin. I will definitely return and I want to bring my family there. The food was top tier but the people were what will bring me back.

We ordered two Pollo Saltimbocca dishes (one with a cream pasta substitution for an additional $8), the Pollo al Limone, and a half bottle of Chardonnay. The restaurant offers one indoor dining area and two outdoor seating areas--one in the front and one in the back--which gives guests plenty of seating options. The food was a bit saltier than our personal preference. The cream pasta substitution, despite the extra charge, wasn't anything particularly memorable compared to similar dishes we've had at other restaurants. However, the highlight of our visit was definitely the warm and welcoming customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel appreciated. We also appreciate that the restaurant closes for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening for dinner service. It's nice to see a business that gives its staff a break during the day. Parking can be a bit challenging due to the busy neighborhood. Be aware that street parking is paid, and most spots have a two-hour limit, so you'll need to keep an eye on the time. Overall, we'd come back to try more of the pasta dishes on the menu and hope to discover a new favorite.

The food looked good, but my date and I didn't get a chance to try it. I live in the area and have always seen this place when going past. It looked cool and since it had such great yelp review, I thought tonight would be a good time to try it out. Just got out from a comedy show and we arrived at 9:10pm - it says they close at 10pm so we should be ok right? We only wanted to stop in, get a drink or two, and maybe 1-2 apps. After being greeted by the host, who was very nice, we told her that we just wanted to sit at the bar and get a drink and maybe a couple apps. She said "great!" with a big smile and led us there. While being led there I noted that the place had really cool decor and lighting, felt very cozy and italian. This is where it switched from a nice experience into a really quite bad one. As soon as we sat at the bar we felt unwelcome. There was a bartender there, middle-aged man with glasses and longish shaggy black hair that immediately gave us a "mean mug" type look. "That's strange..." I thought to myself. He did not greet us and seemed pre-occupied with closing the bar, wrapping up the beer spigots etc. The vibe was totally off, we are unwanted it seems. We sat there for maybe 1-2 minutes until he finally turned to us and said "Are you guys waiting for someone?" "We just want a menu" my date replied. "The restaurant is closed" he said, in quite a brusk and rude tone. I looked at my watch. It was 9:15pm. "But it says you guys close at 10pm, is that not the case?" I piped up. "No." he said, shaking his head. He turned his back to us. At this point I thought, lets go to a place that wants our money. I work with customers in my day job and would never be able to interact with a customer in the way he did. Honestly, if you're that way with customers I feel you're more suited to a warehouse job than you are working a bar. "We're not wanted here, lets leave" I said to my date. We got up and left. With people working like that working at their restaurant - save your money and go to some place else with good service. If the bar itself was closed, fine, offer us a table or something. Be nice about it. Instead we got quite rude (non)service. Again, the host was nice, keep her. But buyer beware - if you come during the last hour expect to be treated like you're unwanted garbage from unfriendly bartenders. Maybe update your hours if you "actually" close 50 minutes before it says you do?

Right off the bat I loved how the beautiful large front door just opens automatically for you. And then they greet you with a small cup of chicken broth, but I'm a vegetarian and they happened to also have a very, very delicious mushroom broth. The bar was pleasantly busy, good atmosphere, but I was able to find two seats right away, which was great. I was in love with the attention to detail with every little thing in this place. The beautiful silverware, the glasses for the drinks, just everything. It's got a very fun design and I really like it's whole look. Oh also as you walk into the restaurant, you pass a massive glass wall that is the entire kitchen, so you can see them working, producing beautiful dishes, and they make their pasta in house. If you don't already know, fresh pasta is always so much better than not freshly made!! Shortly after we sat a server host presented us with a starter snack of fresh vegetables with a garlic cheese dip, there's a technical word for this, but I forget what it is. It was a pleasant surprise, and the garlic cheese dip was really good. We ordered starter blue cheese wedge salad, it was very good, a somewhat unique wedge salad because it had tiny balls of cucumber with very finally sliced pickled onion, it was not strong on the blue cheese flavor, but it was a great salad. It does not come pre-chopped. You have to do that yourself. ‍ Mushroom Crispelle, It came in some kind of brown gravy, I think it had cheese kind of baked over the top, this was very very good. I would eat that again. Conchiglie Pomodoro if you like a tomato sauce based small noodle, you will like this. I don't think I would get it again however I think next time I will try some other kind of different noodle pasta. he ordered this tuna done in the really thin sliced style, it came with capers, beautifully presented. I did not try that though, but he ate all of it so it must've been good enough! drinks - I really appreciated how the one mixed drink that I tried off of their menu was a good strength because too many places have overpriced fancy drinks that are very weak and it's a waste of money. It was not too strong, but not weak, really well done. The bartenders were also perfectly social and very nice. Lots of parking (if you don't try to get all up in the commonly used parking area). I parked on the lot that is near the overpass, loads of space is open. 20 second walk to the restaurant. The only thing that was a bit off was the main pasta dish took about 45 minutes to come out, but we munched on the salad and had our drink drinks so it wasn't a huge deal, but it was not ideal, either. I don't want to dock a whole star for what was probably just an honest mistake.

We were welcomed with a chicken bone broth which was full of umami flavor. Got the Hokkaido scallops and classic wedge as a starter, the cheese was a bit too salty for my taste and was overpowering the entire thing. For my main I got the prime rib which was huge, can definitely split it between two - very tender. For desert, the sticky toffee pudding which comes with a table show - I think this was the MVP of the night. The Ramos Gon Fizz is a must in my opinion.
