    F-ing slop on a plate
    Michael R.

Gross Gross Gross is all I can say. It was so gross I didn't eat it. It was a mushy mess totally microwaved, made me sick to look at it. When she brought it out she bring any silverware took at least 10 minutes while that pile of crap sat infront of me making me want to puke. When I told her no way was I going to eat that she asked if she could bring me something else. I responded an apology for serving me that slop got up and left. We won't even get into my wife's disgusting chicken taco. I don't recommend.

I did a doordash pickup. I ordered a cgeese Queso and nacho supreme with beef. It was not a good idea to order the nachos. By the time I picked it up and took it home the chips were really soggy. It is great that they give an extra bag of nacho Chios. This helped alot.

Excellent quality and echos the pretty decor of their previous restaurant close by. Easily the best quality Mexican available around Ann Arbor. Prices are average and affordable. Portions are huge. The queso fundido is highly recommended! Fresh made chips, all white meat chicken, tostada will blow your mind and challenge you to eat it without it spilling over! Music is a little loud but otherwise the atmosphere is clean and perfect. Love the house salsa. I do not drink anymore but recall them as fruity, fresh and strong!

Good. Friendly service, although a bit slow Lots of menu options. The patio looks nice.

Huge portions so I took the rest home. Chile verde, tortillas, rice and beans.

We moved here from Tucson AZ over a year ago, and have only found one other Mexican restaurant in Ypsi that seems authentic and not too Americanized. We just tried this place last night and were really impressed. I got the Chile Verde, which legitimately was the best Chile Verde I've ever had -- the pork was fall-apart tender, like it had been cooking the entire day. The beans and rice were also great, especially the rice -- very flavorful and not too greasy at all. My husband is a lot more picky about authentic Mexican food quality, but liked what he ordered (taquitos with pico de gallo) and wants to come back too. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful -- all the furniture is ornate and hand-carved, and there are beautiful paintings on the walls that mirror the windows in the restaurant. I have a feeling that this restaurant will become a regular spot for us.

    Nifty engraving on the chairs.

Overpriced and mediocre Mexican food. They do have chairs with their name engraved on them which is kind of nifty.

The inside was warm and inviting. The food was soooo good, and big servings. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be going back.

Thankfully my wife speaks Spanish because her English is definitely limited. There were only two woman working when I ate there. Definite mom and pop vibe. The other people looked Mexican as did the customers who came after me definitely a good sign for authentic food. The drink portion sizes were pretty generous for a small size. The food took some time coming out, my wife enjoyed all three of her tacos. My shrimp taco was good and the corn tortilla was good not overly dry. Two salsas come to the table both were very good. The Gordita was solid liked the lettuce and cheese along with the meat. The thicker corn tortilla goes a longer to fill you up than a taco. Overall a good place, did not blow me away , but solid.

When I first walked in, there were two guys standing at the counter for quite a while. I couldn't figure out what they were doing until I saw the employee counting out cash. I also wasn't sure if I should sit to order my food or order at the counter. Eventually the employee handed me a menu so I sat at a table. There were other tables with native people at them so I figured the food must be good. I ordered a combo meal from the menu written in Spanish. It had two tacos, a tamale, and rice and beans. A short time later I was told they didn't have tamales. I was bummed about that so I ordered three tacos with a side of rice and beans. I was surprised at how long the food took to come out. And the portion of rice and beans was tiny, especially for $4. Of the tacos, the beef was a little tough, but the chicken and pork were good. The rice and beans were both tasty. Just not enough. Overall for over $14, I didn't think the food or experience was worth it. Maybe the tamales are the star of the show.

Immediately upon walking in we were greeted SO kindly and genuinely. The restaurant is beautiful- so nicely decorated and so clean. They have an expansive menu with so many options for all types of diets. I'm a vegetarian and they have vegetarian options for nearly all dishes that they offer! To start we were given chips and salsa which were fantastic. The salsa had a little bit of spice to it too which I loved. I got horchata and my husband got passion fruit Agua Fresca and WOW 10/10 without hesitation! Best horchata I've ever had. My husband does not like horchata and couldn't stop drinking mine! We both also loved the passion fruit Agua Fresca, another 10/10. They were so kind and brought us a sample of the cucumber and lime Agua Fresca as well which I'll definitely be getting with my next meal from here because it was SO refreshing and tasty. I got a vegetarian quesadilla and there's not a single thing I would change about it. It was hot and filling and so tasty! It had so much flavor! The guacamole and salsa it was served with were fantastic, too. My husband absolutely loved his steak burrito, too! No modifications he just got it the way it comes and he said he wouldn't change a single thing about his, either. The corn in a cup was absolutely incredible we added a bit of red salsa for a little kick to it and I'm not gonna stop thinking about it til I'm able to have it again. I'm not kidding it's amazing and DEFINITELY a must-have. I couldn't have been happier with our experience!

Our cashier was also our waitress and super nice. I had two carne asada tacos adding guacamole, husband had one pollo asado taco because he had a huge breakfast. Food was hot and fast. Meat tender and good quality, no gristle at all. Guac fresh, corn tortillas tender and held up nicely. Perfect tacos. What more could you want? Should have tried the frescas! I will keep this one bookmarked, because we'll be back for graduation next year!
