Disappoint is an understatement. Grabbed a quick burrito bowl for lunch and although it was very flavorful, there was an unknown object in my food that was hard and sharp. Possibly corn? Unfortunately biting into this cut my lower gums and caused it to bleed, ruining my overall experience.

First time at this particular Dos Toros. I tried their limited time ancho chicken, which was pretty good. Service was quick on the line. They have some seating, but as expected, most people take their orders back to the office. The prices for their bowls are a little lower than some nearby bowl places, but I also find them less filling, so I guess it evens out. They do seem less salty than Chipotle though, which is a plus.

First time ordering here and I really liked. Ordered a bowl with pollo, rice, beans, fajitas and pickled onion and it was cheaper than chipotle. Food tasted good and fresh. I'd eat here again

In the plethora of options for lunch in FiDi, this place is in a tough spot. On the one hand, Chipotle is around the block, on the other hand, taco bell is a couple blocks away. I'd say this place has a little higher quality than chipotle, but i was definitely still hungry after getting a bowl and small chips. The tortilla chips here aren't bathed in salt like chipotle, and actually taste pretty good on their own. I got a carnitas bowl, and the whole experience is like an assembly line with fewer ingredients. No corn? Do I call pico de gallo mild salsa? If I pull out my phone and record, do I get bigger portions?? Out of dos toros, I'd rate this place uno.

I am a big fan of Dos Toros, I always had great experience at the midtown stores, but this store's bowl was pure disappointment. The rice was cold, some of them were just hard as stone, the chicken was cold, seemed like everything was just sitting around for a while, even though I bought the bowl around dinner time of 6pm. The store itself is pretty nice, few tables available for dine in. But NO Restrooms in the store!!

Had this for lunch finally one day. There's a $6 discount if it's your first time ordering through their app, so my bowl came out to be around $6! The workers were chill and friendly. The food, however, was disappointing. The portion size was smaller compared to typical bowls. The chicken was a good protein choice, for being soft and juicy. I thought I added a decent amount of toppings, but even still, the flavor was not there. It felt very dry. I usually don't notice the black beans in my bowls because they just blend in with the taste, but here, something was off with the beans that I had to pick them out towards the end. Between the 2 fast food joints, Chipotle would be my choice in flavors and portion size.

Dos Toros on Maiden Lane is one of my favorite quick lunch spots in financial district! The food is always delicious and fresh. The service is generally fast (though during lunch rush hour, there may be a line) and ordering is pretty convenient. I've gotten an array of items from Dos Toros (tacos, burritos, bowls, salads) and I've done both online and in person orders. I will keep coming back because the food is consistent and yummy. Whenever I'm in the office and can't think of what I feel like eating for lunch, this is usually one of my go-to's.

I love, love, love me some delicious authentic food, especially the Latin American variety. Dos Toros sources naturally raised chicken, steak, and pork. Their meats are antibiotic and hormone free. There are no GMOs in their flour tortillas, corn tortillas, or rice. However, the corn chips do contain GMO corn (90% of the US corn crop is GMO). In case you were wondering their thermal receipt paper is BPA-free. Shout out to DT for keepin' it Green. Disclaimer: Not to say if they didn't keep it Green I wouldn't eat here, but I think it's pretty snazzy. Their current practices include composting their kitchen food waste. Their utensils, cups, straws, napkins, bags, and platos are all compostable. The tables and wainscotting are all made from reclaimed wood. Their menu consists of Burritos, Tacos, DT Quesadilla, Burrito Bowls, Salads, and Nachos. You choose your main either: Pollo Asada, Carne Asada, Carnitas, Impossible Ground Beef, Rice & Beans. Then you choose your fillings: Black or Pinto Beans, Mexican Rice or Farro, Sautéed Corn, Peppers & Onions, Signature Hot Sauce (Smoky, Verde, or Habanero), Crushed Chips, Tomato Salsa, Sour Cream, Shredded Monterey Jack, Shredded Romaine, or Guacamole. They also have drinks such as bottled Water, Coke, Diet, Sprite, Premium Drinks, Tecate Beer, Corona, and Pacifico. They also cater which costs $14.95 per person plus 5% gratuity and 5% transportation fee. The minimum order size is 25 in NYC and 20 in Chicago. They allow pickup orders for 15 people or more. Optionally, you can add our Impossible Ground Beef for $2 more per person. My hunny decided to bring home burritos one day and man oh man was I in for a delectable surprise. DT offers something I've never had before. It's definitely a game changer. You can taste the love, passion, and time put forth to create such delicious meals with each bite. We've had burritos and bowls from here which are both equally, hands down delicious. I've yet to try their nachos but that will be next on my list. You can't go wrong with either chicken or steak. I may have to try the carnitas next.

Dos Toros is fast and better than Chipotle at every location I've had it. This one is no exception. This one is in the food court at Brookfield Place. Price is a little high, but try it if you haven't. A steak burrito with cauliflower rice cost me $14.30 all in.

Carnitas. Asadas. Pollo and impossible burger were all delicious tacos. Chips and guacamole were ok but nothing existing Stuff was very nice and place is fine.

I got the impossible bowl from here with seamless. Delivery didn't take too long, but it was almost all cold when I got it. The impossible meat was warm, and when I mixed everything together it was just a cold burrito bowl. I've had this problem at some places, but I guess the best delivery is chipotle. I've never gotten anything cold from there, and maybe it has to do with the tin foil lid chipotle uses. I'm not really sure. Aside from that, the bowl itself was pretty good. The impossible meat was awesome and tasted just like beef, and the consistency of it was like beef too. I would order again from here, but maybe I would try something different next time. I'm sure if you eat it there you won't have the same problem. And if you don't get things like lettuce and tomato in it you could microwave it.

    Maria W.

I always order the steak bowl. The food is fresh. I ask for extra corn in mine since I'm not a fan of the other toppings. The corn is very sweet and it's a perfect combo with the rice and steak.

A quick internet search led me to this tiny little takeaway window. There were a few people waiting around for their orders, but the service was quick, and super friendly. We had our usual list of spots in Midtown East, but this time we wanted something a little different. We ultimately landed on Mexican, however even then there were several spots to chose from. One of my colleagues found CdM, and since we had nothing to lose we decided to check it out. In terms of physical space at CdM, there is very little; this is actually a walk-up spot hence it is solely a takeout restaurant. The menu is pretty straightforward - lots of Mexican staples with a good variety to choose from. The burrito bowl looked good so I decided to go with that - I was given choice of protein (I chose pastor) and types of beans (I chose black). The bowl was really good - all the ingredients tasted fresh and they were generous with the portion. They added sour cream to the top of the bowl and it came with a side of salsa verde which I thought was a nice touch. We also ordered some bags of tortilla chips to share - these were my favorite kind as they were semi-thick and super crunchy. Overall, I had a solid experience at Cinco de Mayo. It definitely hit the Mexican craving spot and I would have no qualms returning for another meal.

I didn't see any but saw buckets for umbrellas. I opted not to leave it there since I didn't wanna forget or risk someone taking it. I took it upstairs with me. My friend had arrived and was seated. Apparently, they do offer sleeves because she got one. But the 3 people who were at the hostess booth failed to offer me one. The beautiful ambiance will get your attention immediately. It is a stunning space. The tableware was gorgeous as well. We waited for our last friend to arrive who was almost half an hour late before ordering (we thought she'd arrive sooner). Our server, Matias was gracious about it the whole time. What we ordered: Drinks: Passionfruit Margaritas & Mojito - we were happy with them. Tlayudas, Guacamole y Salsas - this was really good and a great option for the table to share. The homemade chips alone were excellent. Liked all the different dips. Guac could've used some cilantro and more acid/spice. Tán Ceviche - I loved this. Super fresh and great flavor. Could use a touch of acid. My entree was the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas - This was pretty good. The sauce could've used some spice and some acid to cut through the richness. My friend ordered the Yellow Corn Soup as part of her meal and she did not like it. She said it was too sweet which I thought was strange. I tried a spoonful and I agreed with her. It needed a savory note and again, acid would've done wonders. Also, the crab was a bit fishy in this. She enjoyed her tamal though. I tried a touch of the sauce and it was delish. My other friend had the Quesabirria which she was also happy with. To sum up: Ambiance: 5/5 The space is undoubtedly gorgeous. Food: 4/5 Beautiful presentation on everything but each dish lacks an element or two to make it a home run. Staff: Wait staff 5/5. Downstairs staff (greeters/hostess) 4/5. Needs to be more on point like offering customers sleeves for umbrellas or pointing out the buckets to put them in. At some point through our entrees a group of 3 women were doing a 10-minute photo shoot by the stairway where our table was. Absolutely inappropriate behavior and a manager should've stopped it. Camera flashes all up in our faces while we're eating wasn't cool. Overall, still a great elevated Mexican cuisine option. The slight tweaks would make this a 5 star place for me. I'd return to try more things.

If you are someone who is looking at an aesthetic place, this is a top contender. Unfortunately, I would say this place is better looking than the food is good. The food was fine, appetizers were all fresh but lacked any real depth in flavor. I wasn't too thrilled with the bone marrow I had either (but the tortillas come in the cutest basket). Personally, if it wasn't for the drinks and the space, I cant say this place is worth it - you're not coming here for the food. Another little complaint I have is the women's restroom on the second floor - right by the door is a floor to ceiling mirror which I understand was included to make the space seem bigger, but my friends and I agreed that it is a little misleading - I kept wanting to walk into it thinking there was more space there and not wall. I would recommend maybe putting a decal on it to clearly show its mirror.

The steak was tender and had pretty good flavor. I just wish there was more. Especially considering the price. Certainly not a bad quesadilla but the value wasn't quite there.
