Had dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary but was kinda disappointed food and drinks are great but honestly the service here is not okay, took over a hour and thirty minutes just to bring our cheese wheel, also just for our simple drinks we kept having to remind the servers over and over about them and we spent over well 400 on our tab, for the price I'm paying i feel like the service should be Way better and it isn't our first time here, we've been here for breakfast as well and it been empty since we were one of the first that morning and we still see just servers standing all together behind the bar just looking around and talking instead of checking in on us or bringing our drinks, we come here regularly but the service is always a issue for us. read more

Overall everything tasted great. Went on a Sunday evening. I didnt feel like it was very busy but service was very slow. Not pictures was the half chicken and it was okay. It's a whole vibe here. We came for the food and drinks and weren't disappointed! There's lots of people out for the people viewing and photo sesh lol, lots of selfies and the atmosphere is conducive to that ... if you're into online clout chasing. Hate to score this low because the atmosphere was great and service was pretty decent, but the food was just not cutting it. Taste is always a priority for me. Food looked good at first and great menu options but was severely overpriced for the quality and taste we received. We ordered the half chicken and it had an old after taste, was also very rubbery. Seemed like our food was sitting a while. Cocktails we fine, but cost was more than other bars in the area. Empandas had good flavor, but was cold to the touch. The place is super nice and at a great location, mocktails and appetizers were really tasty, and service was good. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with our entrees, my husband got the salmon and I got the harvest salad with chicken and both were just bland, and it felt overpriced for the quality of the dishes. We shared a tiramisu for dessert, it wasn't the worst I've had but I wouldn't order it again. I would just go back for fun drinks and maybe appetizers, definitely not for dinner. Altogether I would give the menu a seven out of 10. I have the paella . The rice was a tad bit burnt the shrimp were perfect the lobster was a waste of time because by the time you try to scrape it out of the shell you're missing 60% of the meat. I had been wanting to visit Dosalas for a while and finally made it happen. Wow! Talk about ambiance Every detail was carefully placed in terms of decorating. VERY glamorous and upscale, which I love. There are many different room to be seated in depending on what experience you are looking for. I came for drinks and a appetizer. We sat at the fire table and ooh la la it was very special. Being a bird lover and fan of all things over the top I HAD to get the Kylie. It is a house infused spicy tequila, strawberry cucumber puree, fresh lime, 818 respado float, served in a gold birdcage! So much fun! I also got the margarita flight to spilt with friends and that was delicious. The passionfruit was my favorite. Not pictured but also got to try a hand made margarita table side. A bar cart comes around and offers custom margaritas at the table. Great idea. For food I tried the SHORT RIB SOPES chipotle masa, guajillo sauce, cilantro crema, queso fresco, pickled red onion, micro cilantro, shaved habañero. Excellent execution and lovely presentation. My wife and I came here after wine tasting at the neighborhood tasting rooms (at least 10 to choose from). Excellent meal. The short rib sopes were a solid opener. Not soggy, short rib dark and smoky. Then the ckams and mussels in an ancho broth with chorizo - spicy and delicious. Then b the anchor spiced lamb chops, perfectly grilled. Service was pretty good. Everything is good except the shady business practice. On your receipt you will notice a 2% surcharge to "cover rising costs." This is basically just a surprise extra charge on your order. It was our first time going here, I will give it another try one day. We liked the Caesar versus the Harvest Salad. Caesar dressing was on par. We also ordered the baked queso and mexican corn. We recently returned from a another experience at the DOSALAS restaurant and I have to say it was a complete turnaround we came back with an invitation from Andrew and experienced a seamless event. The food was delicious. The drinks were delicious and the server Graciana was by far the best server I have had in Vancouver. We really enjoyed our experience. I had the steak New York and my husband had the tenderloin both were cooked to perfection. We did not have dessert because we were so full, but we do plan on returning and we will like to try the dessert menu at that time, thank you again for working so hard to make our experience pleasant I know firsthand how much work goes into providing a great experience and I appreciate it read more

From the moment you walk in the door the beauty of this place surrounds you. The front area was stunning and the green plant walls bring a calming energy. Once you reach the main floor it's beautifully laid out for all types of groups. We sat outside on the patio on a perfect fall day. Where they have heaters going and window walls that can come down if it gets too windy. Making perfect atmosphere for winter time with rain. The views are gorgeous and seating options very comfortable. The menu has so many options it was hard to choose and the drink menu was filled with creative choices. What a delight to see a menu so eclectic. My cons- 1) took 15 minutes for us to get water when we sat down and menus to start looking 2) the prices are extremely high on their drinks and small plates. The food was amazing and popping with flavor. The drinks presentation was stunning! However the costs were definitely higher than a normal dinner out. Will save this for a fancy date night or special occasion. Note: we had Anna as a server who was one of my top five reason to come back. We (a family of 5 with two under the age of 10) thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and location of our table in the covered area outside by the water! The kids loved looking out and seeing the seals swimming about! The service was top notch as the staff tended to each of us with genuine care and attentiveness! our server, Olga, was the best! Despite the stunning decor, this was a disappointment for dinner. Reservations were made a month in advance, yet they still wanted to seat us at the end of a banquette in the bar despite booth seating being clearly available. They were gracious enough to accommodate our request to move to a booth. We were excited to eat dinner here as we had both only been here before for cocktails and appetizers. We ordered the Sofrito Seafood shareable dinner. The first one came out cold. We eventually sent it back to be remade. What we ended up with was underdone lobster, 3 tiny scallops, and sub-par quality shrimp. And let's not overlook the "Olive Garden-style" breadsticks cut in half that were advertised as herb-crusted baguettes. I came here for Happy Hour on 7/3/24, the afternoon started off great, and the weather was perfect out on the deck, overlooking the river. We ordered a round of drinks which we all enjoyed. We asked for some napkins/silverware, since the table was not set with any. After about 15 minutes, and no response, we asked another server who was passing by for some, and waited another 10 minutes. At this point, we had been onsite for about an hour and our food was expected to arrive any minute, but still didn't receive any. We then asked a 3rd time, with a different server, for these items, and the server came by a few minutes later, and said "we understand you requested napkins, but we are not sure what you had in mind," and offered some paper napkins that were very thin and looked like the style you would receive at some drinking establishments with your beverage. We responded and said we'll take what we can get, but truly expected to get some silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin, similar to what EVERY other table around us had been offered. I legit had expected to see Ashton Kutcher come out from somewhere, like if we were on the Punk'd reality show, and tell us they were just messing with us! FINALLY, we were given these coveted items, right before our food showed up, and were able to enjoy our meal. The main server was a bit slow to understand our basic requests, and we did have to repeat ourselves often, and she even forgot to bring one of the drinks, I guess they were sort of busy, but. . . . Most of the food and beverages were very tasty, however, the steak in the nachos did have a lot of gristle. Overall, we would have preferred better service, but these mishaps wouldn't deter us from dining here in the future. read more

Kids were a little tired and our waiter, carlos, was super patient when my 3 year wanted to talk to him. All of our food was top notch and the steak I ordered rare took a little extra time because it was over cooked and was brought out another appetizer from sous chef and cocktail from carlo to enjoy while they remade the steak.
