I love this place! My wife and I found out about this place not so long ago and we went for our 10 year anniversary. It has a real nice atmosphere, great views and great food! I had the Chimichurri pork chop and she had to Octopus. Both were amazing! Very flavorful and a lot going on in a good way. We paired this with a couple of mango margaritas which also were amazing! Very flavorful and nice amount of alcohol They have weekends with DJs and the music is great to listen to! The Latin spice to it definitely tops it. We had such a great time and great food It definitely is a little pricey but the food and atmosphere is all worth it. We'll be going here more often! read more

I really enjoyed visiting dos alas. It's definitely Instagram worthy. The food is good but nothing mind blowing. The service was great, everyone came in and checked in on me and my party of 5 various times throughout the night. The ambiance felt like I was at a club that served food. If you're not into loud music and right spaces, this might not be the restaurant for you. read more

I guess I should have read more of the reviews before making a reservation for dinner at Dosalas. A "club vibe" with a DJ pumping music is not ever what I look for in a dining experience. This is the kind of place where you'd have a girls' night out or a bachelor party. If you were here just to drink, it would probably be alright but we were here for dinner, unfortunately. Once we were seated, it took 15 minutes for our waitress to grace us with her presence and take our order. She seemed put out to be doing her job. My water was gone before my husband's entree arrived and no one offered to fill it or even noticed it was empty, except for me. The plus was once we ordered our food, it did arrive quickly. The Brazilian cheese bread was my favorite thing but it was $10 for a minuscule serving. I understand inflation, but $2.50 for a two-bite ball of bread is excessive. All the food was expensive and only so-so. My husband ordered the ribs and said the slaw that came on the side had no flavor. We didn't order drinks and our meal total was still $100 -- for a marginal meal and even more marginal service. The views from our table were superb so we went for a walk after dinner which ended up being my favorite part of the evening. I had better, less expensive food at Little Conejo (less than a mile away) the last time I was in town. read more

We dined last evening 4/22/2024 and had a fabulous experience! The food was impressive and exceptional! Everyone loved what they had. Two of the group of 4 got the ribs and loved them, 1 ordered the pork chop and absolutely loved it!! I personally ordered the Pomodoro pasta and absolutely unequivocally loved it!! The flavors in it are so rich and sat. The roasted garlic flavor and the sauce was just out of this world. I will come back to this restaurant just for the Pomodoro very soon! All of our starters were incredible! The desserts were also wonderful. We had the crème brûlée and the flourless chocolate tart cake!!! we wanted to order the million dollar, but we were all way too full to order a large dessert!!! But we decided we will order it next time we have a group! We also want to mention the service, which was absolutely exceptional! Olga, our server went out of her way to make sure our dining experience was above and beyond!!! So the manager also stopped by and made sure our dining experience was going well!! Kudos to the chef and the kitchen for putting out such five star food!! we will all definitely be back and we hope to come have the tomahawk steak next time for our table. Really wanted to love this place. Beautiful restaurant and beautiful view, no doubt, but service and food quality left more to be desired. We sat for probably over 15 minutes before even receiving a general greeting, and the slow poor service continued from there. We were provided with a limited menu but noted that other patrons were receiving food items that were not even listed on our menu offerings so that was disappointing. We tried the queso and it hardened within minutes of coming to the table. Really had high hopes and hope service improves but likely will not be returning for a second visit. read more

Since moving back to the PNW after being gone for almost 7 years we finally found a place the reminded us of the amazing diverse food and that my wife and I fell in love with. We got five of the "small" plates and dessert. We had more food than we knew what to do with. The only thing not pictured was the burrata panzanella, which was incredible. This has got to be one of the best spots in Vancouver. The views are amazing of the Columbia River. Be sure to make reservations and plan to get there early. Not only might it take a while to find a parking spot but it is a nice spot to walk around. The beverages are all top notch and super tasty but also "instagram worthy". We wanted to try a bunch of stuff on their menu so we opted for 1 main entree ( pork chop = super delicious) and several small plates. We tried the soup of the day which was a spicy and flavorful corn chowder, the guacamole trio (all three equally tasty), and the baked queso (came out super hot and spreadable, served with warm bread). This spot is full of life and music, though do plan on dropping a pretty penny as this place does come with a cost. read more

Great location, service, drinks, and food. Highly recommend this spot. We went here for my dads birthday and they ran out of the Tom hawk steak due to it being very popular. Recommend rsvp and going because you will not be disappointed. At night you'll get live music from a DJ and once the weather is nice again I recommend eating outside for the view. read more

Dosalas is a hot spot on Vancouver water front. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The aesthetics and interior decor really made the place alive. Not to mention the gorgeous view of the Columbia river from the upstairs outside patio! The drinks were tasty but definitely on the spendy side just like the food. While the food came out looking extravagant the flavor wasn't there. The $180 steak while ordered medium/rare come out more medium/ well done. A lot of it was extremely chewy and no seasoning of salt or pepper. Yes it looks pretty, but the lack of seasoning on the food made it really disappointing especially for the price point. Our bill was $840 and they added on a $168 dollar pre tip. The expectation was you leave an additional tip on top of the one they already added. read more

I attended a private party here. The vibe was great, food amazing, and the variety of places to sit/stand and have a conversation (firepit on terrace, bar, tables, wine bar, etc.) made it exciting. Drinks did not disappoint! I had a gorgeous pear-infused martini pored from a sort of vase (see pic) and there was a margarita cart rolling around. Best food items I had were salmon, tempura cauliflower, and empanadas. Not sure if visiting as a private party is as good, but I suggest you give it a try! read more

Our host ,"Lola," im has provided us excellent service beyond words can even describe! Very professional and knowledgeable of the items in the menu, all the while serving us with her radiant smile! She's has been so attentive of us from the minute we sat down! I was with a company of Spanish speaking family and I was the only one that didn't understood what was being said. Lola made sure she explained to me what was said. Making me feel no left out at all. Outstanding and with her energy, she makes this ok e worth coming back again. The food is super delicious and pricy but the service is worth coming back again. The atmosphere is sophisticated and spacious. We came on a Thursday night which was great and we were sitted right away. Wine glasses were poorly cleaned and had streaks. Asked for new glass and it was also less than spotless. Food was better than our at this point very low expectation. But the paella was just saffron rice with seafood on top. None of the great mingling of flavors and crisp rice from the bottom of the pan. But it was a decent knock off. I've been here 3 times, and overall the experience is lower than expectations. My last visit we were promptly and nicely sat outside on their pretty outdoor deck, but the propane gas fumes from the fire pit were too much to bear. The drinks are overpriced and the food even more-so overpriced, so we ended up ordering two drinks each and eating elsewhere. This is a pretty spot for a special occasion bar-hop, but with so much amazing food in PDX, I can't see me returning any time soon. read more

Nutshell: this is not a serious restaurant, but they're charging serious prices. I don't understand the positive reviews. Service experience on par with a sports bar. Overall sense of going through the motions, cruising on a beautiful location. Food quality unremarkable. Service was polite and competent, not very attentive to details, little discipline or professionalism - noone asked about a second round of drinks, slow to prebuss the table, brought a box for leftovers rather than offer to pack it for us. The staff were there to make their money and clock out. Starters ordered as a main for one in our party with dietary restrictions came out ten to fifteen minutes before the rest of the entrees, which themselves came out staggered and under or overdone. Staff member who brought the food auctioned off the plates rather than knowing where they should go. Server dropped the check without mentioning dessert. As we left I asked a bartender for a toothpick - no dice. Bathrooms were unattended and dirty. To be clear, I despise Yelp on principle (industry) and I never write reviews, as it's generally cruel and unfair. I don't usually go to places like this but I didn't pick it. Whoever owns/operates Dosalas should take more care or take it more seriously. Sure, running a restaurant isn't curing cancer or anything, but some people work hard for their money. I detest this hackneyed close, but it unfortunately sums the experience best - we won't be back. Management - please don't waste your time by responding to this review with another boilerplate show of contrition. I'd rather delete the review than give you a platform to telegraph disingenuous concern. I know first hand that running a restaurant is challenging, and I'm sure not every guest has an experience like ours, but where there's smoke there's fire. Good luck to you. read more

I really wanted to give this place 5 ...ambiance is great. Welcoming and cordial. unfortunately the white meat on the chicken was just dry and the service was just as dry. It looked great and the flavors were solid but the execution lacked and the ability to correct was just as bad. I didn't get my order for 20+ minutes which explains the dryness...dark meat still was moist so that was nice and the saffron rice and veggies were cooked perfect al dente. They didn't give me silverware for at least 10 minutes after food arrived. After I expressed the dryness of the white meat to the bartender/waitress said she would get me some new meat...other girls failed to execute and took my full plate of uneaten white meat. read more

Came here for a birthday. I happen to love Latin inspired dishes. The place sits right along the Columbia river with great views. This is august so skies are clear and Mt Hood is visible. So the vibe I got was definitely as if I were at a resort in Mexico all inclusive with some house music playing. Definitely on the fancier side. Now with the food. Prices are pretty steep. That's my only negative comment . But I'm ok with it because the food and service were great. We had the ceviche which was shrimp in some heavy cilantro based sauce. With the great tostadas. Short rib sopes. Delicious. And the lamb. Which was seasoned great and cooked to my liking of medium rare. They have a wide variety of tequilas however very overly priced. If you want to try these tequilas come over and we can try them lol. Overall very happy with my experience. Next time I will go for lunch. Go check them out. read more

I just had the terrible restaurant experience my husband and daughter broughtr me to this restaurant to celebrate my 60 birthday and we got there around 8pm and it was 9:30pm and were still waiting for our food we ask the waiter and she say that it was coming but all the other tables were getting their food and we were just sitting waiting plenty of servers were just walking back and forth we couldn't find the manager I got so upset that got up and wanted to leave my daughter talk to the waitress and she still keep on saying that it was out of her control we came all the way from Salem by this time we were very hungry and we came back without eating our dinner just wanted to let you know your restaurant nerds better service and management Dos Alas ruin my 60 birthday I will never forget you I was very upset that I let the receptionist know the one on the entrance at this moment my stomach hurted and I was very stress out my daughter was in tears telling me she was sorry that did not went good I can meepon going but hope you get the point and to do something about your service. read more

This was our third time here, never had any issues, last night we went for a friends birthday. We ordered a mojito and there was no alcohol in it. The waitress took it back and 30 min later said they had run out of the rum and that's why there was no alcohol in it and they didn't want to open a new bottle due to quality control we had to wait for an hour to get a mojito with vodka in it. It was just a weird situation, it wasn't that busy either, and we have always spent hundreds of dollars here, our highest bill being 700 ish. Hubby & I were so excited to try out Dos Alas for a nice date night...quickly ruined by poor service and sloppy presentation. To start, our waiter Alex forgot about my drink, (which btw I saw posted several times on IG as an awesome drink) husband had to get up to find our waiter! When my Tiffany drink finally came almost 40 minutes after placing the order the box drink was splashed all over the box, the glass was gross and sticky...and the drink itself extremely distasteful! I totally understand when the place is busy, however, the quality and taste are extremely overpriced for what I received. We've been here a few times and sadly each time the service is slow and drinks lack quality/taste! Would recommend management to conduct sampling or check in on your customers, especially for those prices. Final note the atmosphere is like always stunning, no complaints there. read more
