Would give negative starts if possible. The hostess and servers were so rude, one of them yelled at us and I'm sure they told her nothing about it. She went around screaming at people. I was trying this place for the first time and i would never come back. Servers don't respect the guests whatsoever, i left before i even got to eat anything. My girlfriend and I shared lunch at Doughbird in January 3. Shishito peppers, chop salad, and Brussels sprout pizza. Within a few hours, it was clear that something we'd eaten had made us VERY sick. We spent all night throwing up, and wound up needing IV fluids for the resulting dehydration. I called around 9.30pm, right after closing, and the manager told me that no one else had called reporting illness. I usually love Fox restaurants but certainly won't be back here. We were sick for two weeks. When you count medical costs and time off work, this was the most expensive lunch I've ever eaten! read more

We had a great date night! There was a 15 minute wait when we arrived, so we pulled up to the bar and enjoyed watching the assembly and pizza oven behind the counter. Food came out a little slow, but the drinks were perfect the wait staff was top notch and we got to meet some fun neighbors that pulled up next to us. The Brussels sprout pizza was unique, tasty, and recommended. We shared some bites with our fun neighbors, they ordered some rotisserie chicken and that was all about the sauce. It was nice to see a Fox Concept without Valet parking. The food was phenomenal but the open concept was very noisy which did make conversation a little difficult. I had the watermelon daiquiri mixed drink. It isn't frozen. Very refreshing. If you are not a fan of tart, stay clear. We ordered The Aviator pizza, half bird with mac n cheese plus and order of potato wedges. And last a watermelon heirloom tomato salad. Every single dish was so flavorful. Low quality food at top quality prices. I was not impressed. Sure its good food for the masses but not a connoisseur. The pizza is good for the low quality of pizza We usually get an Arizona. I was very dissatisfied in the prime rib. Was the worst tasting prime rib I've ever had. Served with Mashed potatoes that are not real, they seemed to me like they were chemically treated instant powdered or mixed half-and-half with real potatoes at best maybe. The pizza said wild mushrooms, but they sure seemed like cultivated in cow manure mini portobellos. I can digest wild mushrooms, but the slightly poisonous cultivated in cow manure I cannot. They came out completely undigested. Quite honestly, the food made me slightly sick. I am very sensitive because of my condition so I am an expert on unclean foods at the cost of my health and well-being. The waiter was good, although I think he forgot about our food, because my prime rib was served just lukewarm and 15 min after the couple that came after us. The building is beautiful and ambience was nice. But I go out for the food not for the looks of the place. I would rather have a hole in the wall with better quality food. I'm used to the good quality organic beef ranchers here in Arizona and can taste the difference. The prime rib beef was so awful tasting, I actually don't think I will ever order any beef out anywhere again unless it's one of those good ones or I'm starving to death without any options. it's not worth it to me, spending good money on low quality steak. The cheap low quality beef is fed BT corn, and BT corn fed beef is the one that causes heart disease and cancer anyway, so yeah, never again. read more

I absolutely love Doughbird! The Cast Iron Shishito Peppers are a must have. They are perfectly charred and the umami sauce is AMAZING! The Heirloom Tomato and Watermelon salad is also fantastic! The watermelon mixes so well with the feta and champagne vinaigrette. Their Free Range Chicken is juicy and delicious! I suggest trying their cauliflower mash as a healthy side option! Don't forget your drink! The Local is my favorite cocktail at Doughbird. It's not too sweet and you can taste the yummy grapefruit vodka! read more

Went here on a business meeting. Now ever time we go out we come back here. I had the prime rib with the sour cream/horse radish sauce and all I can say was it was incredible. I need to try their pizzas and chicken however it's hard to eat anything besides the prime rib. read more

Everything was so great from the moment we walked in, until the moment we left. We came on a not so busy Saturday around 4pm in which they were running happy hour so we sat at a high top. We only ordered the wings off the happy hour menu, they were pretty tasty just wish they were fresh. I know it's hard to not prebake or fry wings because it takes longer to make but they just taste so much better. We shared the chicken avocado salad which was AMAZING. I have been craving it since. Between the bacon, the chicken, the avocado there was enough of everything (and a very generous portion). We got the pepperoni and fresh Moz pizza which we also enjoyed. We were so full but just kept eating and eating it was just that great. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu items. Since you can see the whole back counter we did notice some other things weren't fresh. For instance the prime rib dip looked great but it was previously frozen so once again, just misses that freshness taste. We have been to many fox restaurants and haven't noticed that so maybe it's just this one. read more

We are devoted fans of FRC restaurants, so my family expected and wanted to Love Doughbird! As typical for Fox restaurants the space is beautiful, bright and cheery. The service was wonderful, all staff were professional and friendly = 2 Stars. Sadly, the meals we ate during our 1st visit missed the mark. My husband was looking forward to their prime rib sandwich. He was disappointed that it came out very dry, while relatively plentiful, the meat was overcooked, laced with fat and gristle. I had the barbecue chicken pizza. The pizza looked good, but it was lukewarm and very very greasy. The outer crust was good but the inner crust was so soggy it was difficult to eat without using a knife and fork. The pizza had okay flavor but the whole texture threw me off. Our daughter had the quarter chicken kids meal. It came with a very small leg and half thigh with wing attached. The chicken was good, she liked the leg portion and the chicken I cut off the thigh. The wing portion got set aside. The corn served with the kids meal was alot of broken kernels that resulted in a mush texture she didn't like. We shared the Elvis parfait and butterscotch cake. Those were okay, but not anything we would want to order again. We may try Doughbird again, but with so many other options, it is not likely. read more

Fantastic atmosphere! Feels like a house that Joanna Gaines designed. Very busy and were told we'd have to wait 30 minutes, but we only actually had to wait about 5. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS. I recommend the BBQ beef pizza. The sides were all delicious. The roast chicken was good. I still prefer the roast chicken from LGO, but this was was good too. Overall, a great experience! read more

Had dinner here last evening. Started out great. Seated right away. Server had great recommendations for our drinks. Got the bourbon and bells and the indy school mule. Both delicious plays on our favorite drinks, and we liked them. We then ordered the crispy chicken potstickers on recommendation. They were good, but the side plate were were given to eat them off of was dirty, so had to wait for a server to come by to get us another one. Which they did, no complaints. We then ordered an Aviator pizza which also came with a dirty side plate, boo. It was wet at least, so we used a napkin to clean it ourselves as no server came by this time for quite awhile. This is when things took a turn. Staff all seem to really enjoy each other's company. Which is great, laughing, joking, hanging out with each other, all lovely. However, we waited an excruciating amount of time to get recognized that we were done and then double that after we got our bill, to have it picked back up while our credit card sat on the bill for our server to stand holding hands with his friend at the counter and laugh and giggle while we waited. Again. Lovely restaurant, lovely food, lovely staff when being attentive. Just would prefer cleaner dishes and just have the staff look up quickly and recognize when customers need attention or to leave. read more

Actually quite tasty stuff, but the pizza was a bit oily on mine esp since they drizzled (probably fake) truffle oil which was totally unnecessary as the pizza by itself would have been Okay. Working in the restaurant business my standards are a little higher than most, but not unreasonable. The restaurant is know for their chicken and pizza so I expect those dishes to be down pat. They were not. The roasted chicken was average at best. I honestly prefer Costco over here. The breast was dry, the leg was tiny, and the thigh was mushy. We ordered the sausage pizza as well. We asked for light mushrooms and it seemed they got the order backwards. There was very little sausage and a fair amount of mushrooms. There were 2 pieces or so that didn't have any sausage. The pizza for $15-17 is a bit steep considering it barely constitutes as a personal pizza. We got the roasted potatoes on the side of the chicken and they were mushy and luke warm at best. We asked for mashed potatoes instead. The mashed potatoes came out Luke warm as well and honestly they were puréed where they were closer to potato soup than mashed potatoes. In my opinion mashed potatoes should still at least have some body and texture left. They shouldn't run off your fork. I don't get what is all the rage. When you specialize in two dishes they should be perfect every time. The chicken and the pizza were average at best. That is the reason for the 2 stars. read more

As others have said, the large windows allowing sunlight to spread across the entire restaurant is REALLY nice! The ambiance here, is on point. Despite a small hiccup with our wings coming late (Manager kindly took them off our bill) the service was impeccable. However... next time we come, we'll skip the dough and go for the bird. Both of our pizzas were overcooked to the point where the toppings were hard and chewy. The avocado chicken salad was one of the best salads I have ever had. Same with the wings. Ah Mazin! read more

This place is my new addiction. The food is so fresh and delicious! Service is great! On one of our most recent visits had some chicken wings that weren't cooked completely. They rectified their mistake with a nicely cooked order, took them off the bill and made sure that we were happy with the replacement. The Manager even made her way to the table to speak to us! They are definitely about good food and great customer service which is rare these days! This place doesn't disappoint! read more

This place is solid. The staff were friendly, attentive, cheerful and helpful. The food was GREAT - we loved everything about our pizza and the guacamole was incredibly fresh. The drinks were super tasty - also tasted very fresh, not loaded with syrups or sugars. I ordered on the fruitier side and they were so refreshing! We sat at the bar, which was great given the 40 minute wait for a table (yes, it's THAT popular even in the summer!). It seems like an ok place to bring very young children, but doable. Great for a date, family time or for a group of friends, although I'm not sure they could seat large parties easily (I suppose you should call in advance!). We went specifically for the GF pizza and it did not disappoint! The crust was tender around the outside and slightly crispy bottom. They definitely get an A+. The servo e was really good too our waitress was friendly and attentive. We also ordered two sides brussel sprouts and the asparagus/broccolini while very tasting the portion size was soooo small literally 4-5 brussel sprouts and 8-10 two inch pieces of asparagus/broccolini.
