I've driven by this place many times, but never thought to stop. Finally I was in a doughnut mood, so I said hey let's do a try! They have many unique flavors of donuts. And the donuts are a decent size for the price. The donuts were fine. They weren't anything out of this world for us. They were very sweet, the icing on them was a bit much for us. We tend to like a more subtle, I think with our donuts. But they weren't bad at all. We were able to go up and grab our donuts quickly. However, after us a small line formed. So I could see this place getting busy sometime. There are a few parking spots behind the Hutt. You can also park on the street.

What's not to love--classic Los Angeles donut, comes in the iconic pink box. Open 24 hours Come late and they have hot donuts. Everything I've tried has been great. Would recommend the crullers, they are very light and fluffy--quite the surprise. The blueberry donut here is beloved. I got the rasberry filled donut as I asked the girl who worked there her favorite and was pleasantly surprised. It's not what I would have thought to order but really great.

TL:DR -super friendly, lots of amazing choices, great donuts! Located off of Magnolia, Doughtnut Hut is an iconic Burbank landmark. Their red and yellow striped building is impossible to miss. Located in the back of the hut is a small parking lot. I stopped by before work to pick up some donuts and was pleasantly surprised by their selection. They have all the classic donut flavors and then some Asian inspired ones. Matcha, Thai tea, coconut, and some other ones that were sold out when I arrived. They also have giant sized donuts too! The woman at the front was super friendly and gave me a quick run down of their breakfast menu. Ill definitely be back in the future!

WOW!!! can I just say !!!! been here ac pills times already and it hasn't disappointed. those raspberry butterflies are my achilles heel. The breakfast sandwich was filling and I even got a tiger tail to try and it was delicious! great price and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I asked for the cream cheese to be added and it wasn't an issue. this place is pretty busy so expect a wait. parking is ample with street and limited private lot.

This is my second time here and I will say this is my favorite donut shop. The donuts - at least every time I purchased - were fresh and so tasty. The hits for me were the blueberry fritter, the blueberry old fashioned and the butter milk bars. I can't get enough! Literally so soft and melts in your mouth. The staff here was also very friendly and helpful when I asked about the popular picks. Plenty of parking and a few tables to eat on the spot. Definitely coming back for more!

Tnis neighborhood doughnut shop stands on Magnolia. It specializes in hand crafted sugary treats, sandwiches and drinks. The walk up window allows full view on the goods. I went with the extra large apple fritter. Its big enough to share. Nobody has any business eating it alone. The monsterous treat is fried then glazed like any other fritter. It was very good. Cost me $4.00. Sadly I didnt see the one I was looking for until I was leaving. The buttermilk bar with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting. It was massive. My will power won and I stuck with the fritter. Next time its going in my belly. Service is friendly. They take cash and card.

Someone brought us some of their Blueberry Glazed Donuts when visiting us. I'm so glad to discover this place and will definitely swing by when I'm in the area or even make the drive out here. If you know about the late night donut shop in Anaheim for their famous blueberry donuts and long wait, you have to try this spot. This one might be just a good in its own way! Not too sweet, so flavorful. A cake donut but with a slight chew like a yeast donut, not dry at all.

Had a craving for donuts and this definitely hit the spot. Donuts were tasty and fresh, service was so kind. Looks like they are busy but fast service. Liked how clean it is as well. Nice place to sit, have a coffee, and donut.

Stopped by for a late treat! During National Donut Day we went to quite a few donut shops but just missed this one! We wanted to see the hubbub. There's an ATM and ostensibly "cash only" but now they have Square for a $0.50 surcharge. Luckily we still carried cash. We got an apple fritter and a raised donut. The fritter was tasty and has the right spiced crunch. The raised donut was a little more bready I guess, but it wasn't stale but still good and moist. Available parking lot or street parking.

The donuts tasted pretty good! I picked some up to take to work to celebrate donut day I asked for 3 normal glaze and 3 pink icing with rainbow sprinkles. It wasn't until I left that I realized they gave me one old fashioned glaze. I didn't mind it but I wish they told me when handing me my order or before I paid.

We got the $5 Too Good to Go box. It was fine. We also got a fresh Thai glazed. It was much fluffier. Fresh is best.

My son found Altadena Bakery during one of his random college-area adventures while seeing it on social media and told me we HAD to go. I figured, sure, it's a bakery. How serious could this be? Apparently very serious. First of all, walking in and seeing that pastry case is dangerous. Everything is absolutely beautiful, the fruit-shaped desserts almost look too perfect to eat. Almost. We grabbed several because obviously self-control had already left the building. But the almond croissant? THAT is the reason for the drive for me. Flaky, buttery, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, and filled with just the right amount of almond. No dry, sad croissant nonsense happening here. It was worth every mile from Fullerton to Burbank. Everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and almost ridiculously pretty. My kid definitely gets credit for finding this one. Altadena has officially become one of those places where, if we're anywhere remotely nearby, we're stopping. And by "remotely nearby," apparently I mean 40 miles away.
