I absolutely love this place. Not a whole lot to say about it but the best thing is that it's open 24 hours a day so I'm always able to swing by for a fix. They have a small parking lot that fits about 5-6 cars, along with street parking all around. Even a few picnic tables if you want to sit down and enjoy the goods outside. You can see through the big glass windows all the racks of donuts waiting to be fried, glazed and sold. The display is right up front, filled with all kinds of colorful goodies. If I'm lucky, the guy inside will be freshly glazing warm donuts fresh out of the fryer... those my friends, and tiny gifts from the lawd himself. Your best bet is to stop by at night for a hot fresh donut, like around 9 pm the earliest. I like to get an fresh glazed old fashioned, they basically melt in your mouth. There's a small parking lot, a table if you want to indulge right then and there and there's somebody always making fresh donuts! It was later in the evening when we got there, they still had various donuts ready to go! We got the Red Velvet (decent), the glaze chocolate custard (good), the raspberry butterflies, big and full of flavor. Our favorite was their cronut. Melts in your mouth! I can't say these donuts are the best we ever had, but they're good, fresh, reasonable priced. I'd try other ones next time. Service was just OK, the guy who was helping us was a bit hard to communicate with. He didn't seem to get we were asking about a donut, he'd grab it to pack it, kinda rushing. This is usually my go to place for donuts after pickleball since they're always frying up something between 5pm-Midnight. There's almost nothing better than a fresh hot donut. Most of the time this spot can do no wrong but last night I witnessed something that may challenge my loyalty. While my friends and I were chatting and enjoying our fresh made doubts on the benches outside, the cook came out with a blue plastic wrapped package. I recognized it immediately as a package of fat or lard they were adding to keep the oil fresh. No big deal except instead of scrapping off the remaining lard with a spatula or tool ti transfer to the boiling oil, the cook took a "shortcut," by placing the plastic in the oil to burn off the lard!!! With all the information out there about microplastics, leeching chemicals and the fact that most plastic is petroleum based, this practice really didn't sit well with me. I really hope management sees this and addresses the issue. I don't even drink from water bottles that have been sitting in my car on a hot day.
