The service department is the worse i have ever dealt with. I brought my car early around 7:25am I asked the service attendance to please update me on my AC service as soonest possible . However 7 hours passed and no update . I called around 2:00pm to find out on out it and the service advicer lied straight to my face stating that he had called me a few times and left a message for me . I told him not true but he didn't care and just told me that I needed to fix my AC and the cost very high Also he advised me to do in necessary things like clean debris on my battery around 59 or so and keep going The battery was just cleaned a month ago and the other recommendations were taken care before. This guy did not care about my business but my money which I don't have . I was greeted at the dealership promptly, the agent sat me down in the lobby to wait for a service representative. The service representative sought me out in a short time thereafter to arrange the service. He gave me an expected time of repair of 4 hours and set me up with tech communication while I was there to take care of any other questions. In 1 hour & 1/2 The service representative came to get me personally and I was on the road soon after. It's been a while since I purchased a vehicle but have to say i have never experienced the customer service offered by Octavio before. From the beginning he was able to get me what I asked whether it was pictures, video of the car or CARFAX. He responded very quickly and answered all questions I had. So I recently had the pleasure of getting ripped off by Downey Nissan. Yes I have a Nissan and did some diagnostics for my AC and then 3 recalls too. The recalls were done. And I received my car back with a quote for my AC problem of $1081. I am out of warranty and the tech Carlos who by the way was really awesome, mentioned that it May be less than the quote, more than likely. Well I brought my car back because of that and because of this brutal summer. I got two kids and they cannot be hot and uncomfortable. Well long story short. He did throw in a rental if I did the repairs so I was hooked. But the quote was a mistake!!! I paid $1,752! I was like okay. That was more than the quote!! I felt so ripped off. Only upside is that is done under the 12 month warranty as well as he threw in 2 oil changes let's see if he keeps his word in August because I was not expecting to dip in my savings that hard. I don't think I will be fixing my next repair with Nissan. I'm afraid of what would happen again. read more

I just bought a brand new gorgeous blue Nissan Altima SR yesterday and I am so happy!! I originally went in to purchase a used one they had advertised on their website. It had less than 4,000 miles, was in great condition, and had a very good price tag. After several hours of talking and negotiating with Frankie Valdez and Rudy Magana, we found out the car had been sold by another salesman to another customer!! Rudy came up and told us then asked if we would be interested in a new car. My husband and I were out of our seats ready to go when he said they were trying to get us a new car for the same price because they felt bad. We were skeptical and thought they would try to bump up the price of the car at some point but they never did. My husband was sticking to his guns regarding a warranty matter but we finally signed the papers after the car was transferred in from another dealer. They traded cars with another dealer in order to get the color I wanted...gorgeous metallic blue. I would recommend Frankie and Rudy to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. I felt they went out of their way to give us what we were looking for. They are both easy going...no pressure sales. Even our finance guy was relaxed and had a great sense of humor. I look forward to taking my car in for regular maintenance as their waiting area is so nice, outfitted with coffee, hot chocolate, water, and snacks (I saw cookies, pastries, bagels, fruit and a vending machine). Frankie gave me a tour when I first got there. I felt like he was very proud of the dealership, which is nice to see. He pointed out the new and modern equipment in the service bay that you can see through a window in the waiting area. I work in a kitchen where the customers can see you working...keeps you working at your best. And Even though we were the very last customers, Frankie didn't try to rush us out the door. He took the time to take pictures of us with our new car and send us a video. He called today to thank us and make sure we had everything we needed. WORST PLACE TO BUY S CAR!!! They have a hard time answering your questions like total cost, financing time and interest. Brian Taylor the finance guy offered us security plus protection for only $9 more per month. He kept saying it was a really good deal and it doesn't happen too often. When it came to signing everything was done electronically and said he will go over it later. DON'T TRUST HIM!! Because once we were done he got us all excited and made us forget about reviewing the contract by saying your car is ready. Once we got home we realized we forgot to review the contract.. We went over it and it end up $48/ per month for the security plus.. WHAT!!! We called the next day to ask him what happen and they kept sayings he was not available for 2 days. Today it's the fourth day and my husband got a hold of Brian and he said "well if your not happy with it, you can just cancel it" didn't have an explanation at all. They lack professionalism and they are simply careless. I purchased a car from them about two years ago (my first car buy) at the moment they seemed pushy and I really needed to get a car at the time not to mention I was excited to purchase one. Point is I left with a purchase with by the way the gentlemen seemed a lot nicer when I told him I'd be giving a couple thousand down for the car. Point is I had to drive back for them to fix the glove compartment in the car, battery DIED in less than a year so I had to purchase a new one, my windows and locks stopped working, they never seemed to care nor wanted any accountability on their behalf. It was horrible I was tired of spending and dealing with them that I decided to go to CERRITOS NISSAN where they truly took the time to explain things to me and I ended up trading in. I have went to the dealer multiple times to fix a rough annoying vibration inside my car on my 2017 rogue. Every time I go to the dealer they say it's normal and won't even check anything on it. Since I am only at 30k they say it's cuss I drive a lot. I paid for them to check my car and I still get hit with " it's normal behavior for your car".. we are speaking of a 2017 car not a 1990 vehicle! If you can, avoid going here to buy any car! I had an appointment for Sunday September 22, 2019 at 8am not knowing the hours for that day. They called me to let me know that I needed something else done to the car. So I asked Jacob to contact me Dad to explain. Not knowing whether he talk to my Dad I called Jacob back to verify if he talk to my Dad or should I come get the car because while I was waiting I received a text that the car was ready and the total was $55.97 at 10:08am. So I spoke with Jacob who said yes he talk to my Dad and will go ahead with the other work that needed done on the car. And I asked twice will they call me when the car is complete and he said yes. Now this was around 10:30am. Time started to pass by and didn't received no call, text or email nor did my Dad. So I tried to call at 1:10pm, 2:03pm and 2:58pm and I was put on hold each time. I had someone drop me off because this is my only means of transportation. And I get there is after 4pm not knowing there already closed with no call they my car was ready. I pull up and my car is sitting there with all the doors unlock but everyone was gone. And the receptionist was no help at all. All she did was kept showing me the hours how was that suppose to help me. I'm not happy with Nissan at all. How was I suppose to know that the car was ready with no call, text or email. Talk to Randy in the service department Tuesday morning. Dropped my vehicle off with Yoni Tuesday afternoon and he wrote my vehicle up for Randy while he was at lunch. Fast forward til the next day, I never received a phone call of whats going on so I called them in the afternoon. The several times I tried to call I would say that I was put on hold for an average of 14 minutes. Tried one last time Wednesday night and still no luck. Called the next morning and talked to Yoni found out that Randy was off yesterday and he's not there today. Asked if Someone has looked at it and found out that the Tech is off today. I then asked if someone else was going to look at it and another service writer take over the ticket. His answer was nope we don't do that here and we all have our own work to look at. There telling me no one is going to look at it until Friday...............WOW really. If you know your going to be off for the next couple days don't you think you would hand over the ticket to another Service Writer to not piss off the customers. Never again will I be bring any vehicle back to dealership. read more

First and foremost, this isn't my first encounter dealing with car salesman. I recently bought a car and had a lease ending on my Volkswagen, which incurred an overage of 2,500 miles. There are salesman, and there is FRANKIE VALDEZ! He's a positive, enthusiastic, and empathetic individual who truly looks out for his customers. He truly has set a new bar in customer service. If only every encounter was this blissful, people would truly love the car-buying experience. He picked out an excellent model, the new Nissan Midnight Edition. I'm surprised this dealer has such a low rating because I just purchased a vehicle here recently and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the service, the price and also their selection. It looks like the "service dept" is where the ratings come from. If you need just an OIL CHANGE go to a place that does that shit all day long, don't go to a car dealer! If you do, then plan to WAIT. Anyway, I worked with Anna, the internet sales manager and I only have great things to say about her. She was knowledgeable, friendly and did NOT make you feel the pressure of making that sale happen! I guess it helps when you walk in to a dealer knowing what you want, what you can afford, and what is realistic credit wise. The price for the car I wanted (2013 Veloster) was set per the internet pricing and I'm not exaggerating when I say the price I paid was THOUSANDS LESS than other dealers had. Even the dealers that sell just this brand. I'm a SHOPPER (this wasn't my first or second car dealer) and I even SCOURED the internet, nothing else came very close and the ones that did were just the BASIC model. I'm very happy with my car, and the finance manager was great! He explained every detail in the contract per page and made the experience very pleasant! So if you go here, I recommend Anna to work with. Very sweet, knowledgeable and she isn't going to pressure you. She's about making the customer happy! read more

Please do not buy any car here at all! I am warning the public as a victim of dealer fraud. I came here to lease a car due to my low budget and small income and they told me that i was only qualified towards buying a car instead. I have lots of friends with credit worst than mine and have leased with other brands such as Honda and Toyota for much more reasonable payments. This dealer will make you sign all documents on an electronic signature peripheral without showing you the documents you are signing on the computer screen. Fincance people who sit in the back offices will try ro get you for every dollar they can. I was stupid to come here at a desperate time in need of a car. I am paying a total of 34.8k on a Nissan Sentra whos MSRP value is 21.5k. Sales personal are really cool but the whole sale changes once tou step in the finacer's office. Im paying 20% of interest on my vehicle which ounts to an absurd ount of $5.6k. You will realize how much of your money isnt going to the actual car or car services once you are already screwed over by the finance plan. I REPEAT! DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE! read more

For starters my mom and I were greeted nicely by a sales rep. His name is Ernesto Arriaga. This sales rep is AWESOME! He was extremely helpful and professional. He spoke spanish which was a plus because my mom came with me and was my cosigner. He greeted us and asked us what we were looking for. He showed us newer cars and also the certified pre owned section. I really wanted to leave from this dealer with a Nissan Altima. So I was looking at those. He showed us the car's interior and I found one that I really liked. We did a test drive and I was set on this car. After taking it for a ride it was time to talk about numbers and negotiate. Ernesto was really professional and explained himself really well. Let me tell you that I had gone to many dealers and tried getting a car on my own and it was rejection after rejection. Because of my bad credit I decided to ask my mom to cosign for me. I am happy I did because we got a great deal! After negotiating for about 2-3 hours, we met in the middle. After being satisfied with the deal we were sent to the financing department and finished the paperwork. Meanwhile they were preparing the car and cleaning it. Ernesto was really nice and filled up the gas tank for me and made sure the car had floor mats. I am happy I came here and purchased my car. I'm absolutely scared to go back to this place for service. My battery was swapped out for another battery(Yes it could've been some mistake). My hood was never opened before I went to them besides at my 1st oil change at Gardena Nissan where I purchased the vehicle. My battery was new compared to the battery that is in my car now. Everything in the car under the hood clean & pristine besides the battery! The cover for the black is missing & the battery looks like the one I had in my old 1996 T-bird. The reason I blame this dealership is because of faulty service from my very 1st visit, & the fact that a week later my battery just died like never before. I went upstairs for an hour to work to fax something & check my email. I came back down & tried to start my car it wouldn't turn. After a hour wait for a friend w/ jumper cables was almost there I tried to start it & it magically did. Since then it's happened more often than not. Gardena Nissan says the battery isn't the same one that was in the car & after 6-7 months of having the car it's impossible for it to be in this condition. Auto Zone tested the battery & observed it today & said it's charged but it's dead/no good. I need a brand new battery or I'm going to have to take further action. I'm no mechanic but this happening often may lead to further mechanical problems I'm sure. i rely on my vehicle for doctor's appts., work & transportation for my children, I don't have time for problems(especially ones I didn't incur)! First, he offered to call me back to confirm the car I wanted was still in stock, and within minutes he called me back to confirm that it was there. I let him know that I would be driving in some heavy traffic but he assured me that he would be there when I arrived. I went to this car dealer late this year because I had a flat tire and my regular dealer is at Glendale. I didn't go to Glendale Nissan because it was a bit far to drive on my spare tire so I decided to go to the one close to home. Let me tell you how I regret going to this dealer. Their service sucks. First of all when I got there yes they got me to the service manager fast but after I saw the service manager he told me to wait so he can see what he could do so I can get a new tire and be prorated for the flat one. I waited for about 2 hours and still he didn't call to help me. I decided to go ask him what was going on and he said he was so busy but he would get to me as soon as he could. Well I told him I don't have the luxury to sit around because I needed to pick up my daughter from school by 3:00pm. So he decided to help me then so he could get rid of me ASAP. He quoted me $ 114.00 for the new prorated tire which included labor and all. I was told by Frank to come in the next day after 12pm to install the new tire. The next day I called him to make sure the tire was in before I took my car and he said it was in. He told me that the tire was going to cost $141.30 due to taxes etc. I spoke to my husband and he said that was odd if he had quoted me the day before $114.00. To make a long story short I took my car in and they installed the new tire. When I approach Frank about the pricing he said someone had to pay for the new tire price. I told him why if my tire was not even a year old so it needed to be prorated from its original price. Well after arguing with him back and forth he then said OK. But now I was quoted $116.00 as the final price. He BS that it would probably fire hire for not charging me more. I paid my $116.00 and got the heck out of there. If you want to be treated good and get a good deal on what your services should be go to Glendale Nissan. My husband and I have been a customer of Nissan for a few years and have always been treated right with honest people who want to help you not rip you off. read more

Great service. Friendly staff! Of course people go there for new purchases, service, etc. And I think the day & time you take to go to these places is supposed to be patience. If you have an issue or need something obviously it's going to take some time! Customers can be absolutely rude & obnoxious about it when they're not patient. I think when someone is trying to do their best into giving you great customer service and try to keep the customers happy, they should take that into consideration that regardless what's going on they should see the good side about it. There's other things to occupy the mind while you are waiting. Go walk , go grab something to eat. Be mindful that it is a vehicle and it needs time to work on it. I'm assuming someone takes the day and clears their schedule for that type of work. I know I do! Seriously people that go there get angry and bothered for idiotic reasons. The customer doesn't always have to be right! They just take advantage sometimes and use that for their benefit to get free things! From my experience I would go back location is good.
