Marcos came and cleared out our blockages using the snake. We had so many questions and he answered every single one. He explained all the methods the company would carry out in case of mild, moderate, or severe roots in the pipes. He wasn't there to find any leaks but we did have that ongoing issue. I have been dealing with Downey Plumbing and Heating & Air Conditioning company for the last 15 years or so and their technicians are very knowledgeable in their craft. My AC went out on me July 11th, 2023 and Juan showed up to diagnose the issue and as the AC ran....the fan just kept shutting off. -- Now this unit is an old 5 ton Westinghouse and was installed at my home in the early 1970's so it had run its course. Juan suggested for me to replace the unit because it would be hard just to track/obtain replacement parts for this 53 year old unit. He stated that they have financing plans to pay for it which it is a service they provide; well I had no idea this was available or possible and took his suggestion. He gave me a quote for a new 5 ton AC unit and alerted the office that I would be coming in to do the paper work. Showed up to the office early next day and within 30 minutes I was good to go. On July 18th the new 5 ton AC unit arrived and Juan and Jonathan were ready for the 2 day install.....I can tell you that these two guys were in sync with a perfectly executable plan to remove the old and to put the new one in within the promised 2 day work to which those days were at 92+ degrees outside so you can imagine how hot the attic was. My wife and I are very pleased with reaping the benefits of coolness now thanks to Juan and Jonathans awesome work. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for great service. I recently had my mainline cleaned out, bathroom tub drain snaked and bathroom toilet snaked. Each task was performed individually by different plumbers. First the bathroom tub was done. The plumber was on-time, went right to work on the clog and was very knowledgeable when I asked about various problems I'd had in the past with clogs. The second and third calls were answered by a team consisting of two individuals. They cleaned the mainline first and on the final call they snaked the toilet and removed the clog. Roman and Rodrigo came because I called the Warranty company for a water line leak. Unfortunately the repair wasn't covered by the insurance, but Roman offered me a quote to do the repair since he was already on site. It was reasonable for the work required and he accomplished it quickly and efficiently with a one-year guarantee. Since he was there, I thought it might be prudent to ask for a bid to clean out the sewer line as well. It wasn't backing up....yet, but, it seemed like a good idea to do a pre-emptive cleaning. He again quoted me what sounded like a reasonable bid and did all the work within 24 hours. The price stayed the same after the work was completed, which pleased me. He recommended a semi-annual check-up for the sewer line since there were a lot of roots, and I'll be calling Roman again in about 6 months. He sent me pictures to document the work. read more

I had a serious plumbing problem where the pipes were leaking under the concrete pad. First, they sent a good leak detector out that was able to identify accurately where the leaks were and fix them. I had two major problems gas leaf that gas company closed our line until we got it fixed. With in the same day Clay from Downey plumbing came to the rescue they replaced gas line going to pool heater it was a major joke because they had to cut through cement. They got the job done same day. Clay is a honest, hard worker and extremely Knowledgeable professional. The following week I'm renovating a bath room and water is extremely low to the point we could not shower. The guy that renovating said it's your water pressure. So I called Downey plumbing and Clay he found the issue old broken Galvanized pipes and had to replaced the whole main line.
