Everything was really good and delicious! This is definitely one of our favorite spots and always feels like a little comfort place for us. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and our server Ramon was super nice, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We always have such a great experience here and will definitely keep coming back!

Come by on a Sunday morning. Lots of seating. People coming in and out. Friendly service. Ordered the churro waffle plate, side of bacon, Chilaquiles with ribeye. Alll was delicious.

Missing a couple of cheese sticks, but that's pretty much it for $24...

I came here for a quick eat whilst visiting Oxnard on a Sunday morning. There didn't see to be any other options open and this spot seemed inviting. Service was quick and attentive. I ordered the appetizer sampler. At just under $24 I expected more, comparing it to other spots I've recently eaten at which were around $20 or under. It was just ok....Just to clarify, this is the only food I ordered. It was disappointing in presentation and taste. The chicken tenders were frozen ones of varied sizes, ranging from medium to small sizes. They were very salty, as was the cheese sticks. The Onion Rings were ok. A different sauce to accompany those would be good. The Chicken Quesadilla was good, although quite small bite sizes. For the price, it seemed very underwhelming. There was one dip for everything. I would possibly come back to try other dishes if in the area. The good service definitely helped an average experience.

We stopped in on our way through for a quick bite and boy were we impressed. It's a cute cafe with super friendly and welcoming staff. Luckily we were able to be seated pretty quickly (partly because it was a sprinkly day and partly because the church crowd had not arrived just yet) but there was a wait right after we were seated. Surprisingly in the blink of an eye our dishes arrived at our table. I couldn't believe how fast the service was. My dining companion inhaled his food (I guess someone was starving or something) and he said the machaca was REALLY good. He is usually a chilequillas guy but I guess it was a machaca kind of day. He actually said he wanted to go back next time we are in the area to try other things (including the chilequillas). I got the waffle. It was a little pricy for just a waffle (I didn't get the deluxe waffle with the churros) but the waffle was light and fluffy. It was nice and crispy and it was a big enough waffle that I shared with my dining companion. My partner also got coffee. The service was so good that his cup was never dry. At first the waitress kept coming by to fill his cup before she brought him an insulated carafe full of hot coffee to keep him happy. She also left more than enough creamer. Overall, we loved this place. The atmosphere was great, food was delicious and the service was top notch. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

Came by after church for breakfast no wait which was awesome . Our whole table got chilaquiles. I got the divorced chilaquiles. They were actually really delicious . I enjoyed the green salsa more than the red . Also the orange juice is freshly squeezed . Amazing . Price is just a bit expensive .

This place has a very nice selection of Mexican breakfast, the place is nicely decorated it feels very fresh the food is plated beautifully. I just wish the food was a bit better, the salsas dont have spice and are very sour, the beans honestly were not it at all either old or from a can. The oj and horchata are overly sweet.. the service was great and our server was amazing. Over all the experience was okay. And something I do find a little silly is they charge a party fee even if majority of the party are young children. In all honesty I dont think this is a place for me. But maybe for you?

Fast and Very Friendly Service. Everyone was nice and welcoming, let me pick where i wanted to sit for just a party of one. Music was comfortable and held a great vibe, not too loud or too quiet. Food was brought out hot and quickly, and presentation was beautiful. (The Latte as well!) Will definitely come back next time im in Oxnard again :)

Our busser Alex and server Adri were wonderful this morning. Our meal was super yummy and their homemade cinnamon roll was far better than I expected. Highly recommend. As we were eating our food, we were watching other dishes being brought out to guests and the presentation was amazing for each dish. Super impressed and I will definitely be coming back again to try more things from their menu.

My daughter was excited to visit this spot after a long day of shopping at the outlets. They have a nice little spot tucked right in downtown Oxnard. They have a great menu with a huge variety of different breakfast options, sandwiches, Mexican food entrees, all kinds of dishes. I wasn't really hungry (with that being said, don't judge the amount of food I got ) I ordered the birria de jugo and I'm so glad I did. Amazing! I loved everything about it! Slightly spicy broth with incredible flavor and big nice chunks of tender meat, so good I also ordered a short stack of the mazapan pancakes. Super good, cooked perfectly. Great service, excellent food. I'll definitely stop by next time I'm passing through, or even making a special trip to visit, this spot is definitely worth it! Remember to show up early as they close early.

We decided to come check out downtown and stop for some brunch. We enjoyed the outside seating. The waitress was very patient and kind and helped us choose are amazing meals. I got the Nutella crepes that my son ended up eating most of and he got the flight of pancakes with three different toppings (Oreo , Nutella and chocolate) they were all a 10/10.

It was my first time here and I had a great experience. The ambiance is great along with the music playing in the background. Our server was attentive. We went for breakfast during the week and so it wasn't busy. We ordered the 2x2 breakfast, which included 2 pancakes, eggs, bacon and the house potatoes. We also ordered the special of the day, which was chorizo with their rosemary potatoes, beans, tortillas and guacamole. The food was delicious and the portions were good, not too much and not too little.

We popped in here because Tacos El Diablo stopped carrying their incredible churro donuts, and we really really wanted churros. Yelp led us to downtown cafe and we were really looking forward to dessert. Service was prompt and attentive, and the restaurant was clean (albeit empty). And we soon realized why it was empty. I've had better churros from the Costco food court. And the funnel cake was really bad - soggy, tasteless, disappointing. Would not recommend. Would not return.

We had a party of 7, hostess said it would be a 20-30 min wait. We understood we had a large party. After over 30min we finally got a table. We sat down for over 5 min and none of the servers acknowledged us, or had to courtesy to tell us we will be with you in just a moment. Over 5 servers passed by and nothing. So we decided get up and leave us we never got any type of service. The waitress need to be trained better! We will never go back! Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND! Don't waste your time and money go somewhere else. They don't even deserve a one star rating. read more

We visited this new spot as "first timers" on a Sunday after church. The location is nestled in downtown Oxnard in the string of eateries near the Plaza movie theaterWe were so intrigued by the seasonal menu, that we didn't even open their regular menu! My boyfriend and I both ordered the Lobster Benedict that came with your choice of home-style potatoes or hashbrowns, 2 Benedicts with lobster chunks, spinach, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce over an English muffin. We asked for extra hollandaise. :) The food was delicious and arrived at our table fairly quickly. The eggs were poached on the harder side, so if you enjoy a really runny egg, asked for it to be poached soft. What stood out was the AMAZING attention and service! The owner, Mr. Lopez, was personally walking around checking on customers in a very engaging way. We ended the meal with an amazing cheese pastry with guava topping. This pastry is made in-house and was soft, with the perfect blend of creamy and sweet. If you can't fit one in, you'll definitely want to take one to go! Overall, it was a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back to check out their other breakfast offerings and maybe their dinner menu as well. read more

My mom and I were seated and then ignored for about 10 minutes. The breakfast we ordered was good, but it was brought in sections. We ordered hot peppers that never made it to the table, so I had to cancel them. We were not checked on during our dining. We did not leave a tip and we will not be returning. read more

What a great find. nice location--big indoor or outdoors (music outdoors was too loud for breakfast time). Waitress was efficient and pleasant--manager checked on us. huge menu--where to start?--we were both drawn to the breakfast crepes covered in hollandaise sauce--inside was egg/swiss/bacon/ham. Large--two could share an order. We found the crepes a little too sweet and the hollandaise lacking in lemon. Just a personal preference--they were still very good. We will return to try some other items on their extensive menu. Very reasonable prices also. read more

Great food presentation and most importantly great taste. I had the downtown breakfast with coffee and it was hearty as well as flavorful! My friend had the steak and eggs and it was to die for. We had a great breakfast here today. The restaurant is really cute with indoor/outdoor seating and the decor highlights the agricultural industry of Oxnard. Service was very pleasant and we were seated immediately. We each had the 2x2 breakfast which came on a huge platter with eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes and pancakes or toast for $10.99. The bacon was especially delicious! I love that you get your own little coffee pot so you never have to wait for a refill. We'll definitely be back!! read more

Great Breakfast & Lunch . Been to this location 3 times already and tried different items on the Menue. All so far have been delicious for my husband and I . The Chile Verde Wet Buritto, Green Chilaquiles, Love this Homestyle potatoes, Biscuit & Gravy , Housestyle Omelette & Chicken & Waffles. Great taste and satisfied my expectations. Everything we have tried so far(breakfast) has been DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I are breakfast connoisseurs so the fact that we keep choosing this place says A LOT! Food comes out quick and hot. The bottomless mimosas are decent size especially when you get 1.5 hour to drink! For Valentine's Day they had a cute pink mimosa. Servers are all attentive and kind:) We feel a home/close community atmosphere. Definitely will continue to come here!!! read more

Not from around here, came for a soccer game and first time here would highly recommend this place. Food - amazing, service - amazing café de olla - amazing. Fast service. Marilyn H was our waitress and she alone gets a 5 star . She was helpful, sweet and was on top of our order. Come and eat -it was very well worth a one hour drive!!!! Downtown cafe was not what they said it was . I decided to take my family in for all you can eat pancakes and have a good time with them since we don't get to see each other as often . It took time for our waitress to actually attend us , take drink orders and bring our silverware . And take our food orders. ..... Our waitress (daniel) grey blue eyes black beard was ordered to bring 3 buffalo burgers total additional to everything else ordered and he did state that he would fix that problem on the order taken . And when he brought out the burgers he said "italian burgers " NO ONE ORDERED italian burgers . He tried forcing my sibling to take it but I spoke up and nicely said to him that was not what we had ordered . I could see he got upset because he got so red and the face gesture he made .... But I wouldn't make my siblings eat something they didn't order . That is not their mistake ! It took an additional 30 mins to get the burgers served and by that time half of us were done eating . By the time we needed our tab The amount charged was ridiculous. We were getting charged $264 for bad /cold food and warm drinks . We were being charged for wrong burgers. And a drink we never drank!!!! And on top we never got our pancakes ! I was so dissatisfied with the service from our waitress , to the other ladies picking up dishes Because when we tried getting help from them they would ignore us , when we were literally a foot or two away from them .! Overall I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING . Nor WOULD I GO BACK . I believe we need a refund for the terrible excruciating service and food we received . If this is how your waitresses are trained to give service . Its ridiculous . Even IHop has better customer service and skill. 0/10 read more

I recently visited this restaurant and was not impressed. The food tasted as if it had been reheated in a microwave, and the bacon was severely overcooked--definitely not worth the high prices. Additionally, I noticed they chose to close on a Monday to make a political statement, which I found disappointing.
