Haven't been here for a few months and they took off of their menu the chicken and waffle. I explained I wanted chicken and waffle and not the strips. I was brought the strips. After I received my plate I was told they discontinued the chicken and waffle plate. Kind of disappointed because the fried chicken was amazing. I did not return the plate. This is our first time eating here. We read review but it was nothing like what we expected to be. They brought out 1 plate of food and improved us that another order was sold out 30 minutes later. Food was a just warm not hot. Would be nice to know what your restaurant is out of so we can make better choices. We came in last week on a Sunday with some friends who were visiting from San Diego. The wait wasn't terribly long and was an estimated 30-45 minutes. We waited within the vicinity of the patio area and were accidentally skipped, but the staff worked quickly on setting up a table outside, but an inside table opened up and our party was seated. The staff, food, and service was amazing! The café de olla was delicious! We will definitely be coming back in the near future! read more

We tried this place for the first time. It was on a holiday so the place was crowded, a good sign. The place was neat and offered outdoor seating. We sat for awhile and we got no service so we flagged down the owner JL, he was very nice, courteous, and attentive. The menu selections was large, food was good and portion sizes were good as well. The reason for the 4 stars are because the service was lacking and the servers were limited in English. I was glad that my friend understood or else I would have been lost. I think given time, they will iron out the problems and have it running smoothly. read more

Our family go to when ordering pickup at the point. A lot of options on the menu. Don't order the Mexican pancakes to go, that's a dish that needs to be eaten at the restaurant, by the time you get home all the ingredients are soaked into the pancake changing texture and taste. read more

Went into this restaurant over lunch this week and I must say this place is one of the worst establishments I have been since the pandemic began. Referred to by coworkers for the burgers and other breakfast offerings my coworker and I went on our one hour lunch. The staff was able to sit us and offer menus promptly when we walked in as was taking the food order. Once the food order was in the ghosting and unprofessionalism of the staff was on going to the very end. Once the food arrived the server was rude in confirming the contents of the food which were not prepared correctly. After that the server went missing and no one refilled water or offered additional sauces or other items. Staff could be seen talking among themselves to the side and outside ignoring customers. The food quality was also subpar for the prices being charged. My burger tasted like it was from a theme park or off the street lacking any reason or flavor for a restaurant. The owner tied to stop us as we walked away seeing we were not please with the food and offered my coworker a voucher; however, our mind was made up to not return. Suggestions would be to train your staff more to be attentive. Actually the restaurant that was there before was great and a shame covid took on a side venture and was not to return. The old restaurant model worked great for the employees working near by and walking in to the restaurant by being fast causal and ordering once you went in and being able to get water or fountain drinks as needed. I would suggest you take away waiters as this slows people down that high tight lunch break time. I also suggest you offer better tasting products to make it worth it stopping by. read more
