Very nice place , clean , super friendly staff , lots of specials which in today's prices was great. The food was very high quality with fast service. As for the blizzards and cones we tried , just perfect , great taste and quality is easy to tell Indoor and out seating and again very clean and great staff. Only thing ... they were out of corn dogs this day , my fav at DQ about every 10 yrs when I eat them .... But still super solid 5 star rating Will be back ! read more

I had a great late-night experience at the Dairy Queen in Campbell and wanted to give credit where it's due. We were greeted by a teenage young lady with a genuine smile at around 9:40 p.m. on a Saturday night--which honestly stood out. At that hour, especially so close to closing, you might expect someone to be tired or less enthusiastic. Maybe that's stereotyping on my part, but regardless, the friendliness was truly appreciated. As soon as our order was taken, another young lady came out to help prepare our shake and hot fudge sundae. Both employees had excellent customer service attitudes, and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I was genuinely impressed by their professionalism and positivity, especially considering it was only about 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday night. If I'm being honest, if I were working that shift at that age, I might already have the doors locked and the lights off pretending no one was home--so big props to these two for showing up and doing their jobs so well. I really wish I knew their names because they deserve a personal shout-out. And of course, the ice cream was great--that's always expected at this location. But the service is what made this visit memorable. Well done to the team working last night. I haven't been to a dairy queen before so we came here one night. The parking lot wasn't great and had food on the ground. The prices here are insane. $8 for a small blizzard feels like highway robbery. We also got the pretzels with cheese which were absolutely disgusting. For the price, this place is not worth it but it definitely has the nostalgia factor. read more

I have not been to Dairy Queen in years and was checking the site. I used to really like their soft ice cream. I noticed a lot of bad reviews. The one constant theme that stood out to me was that DQ responded to every complaint, no matter how different they might have been, with the same disingenous response. "Hi customer (fill in name), we're sorry to hear we did not satisfy your cravings during your last visit. We appreciate your feedback. We hope you give us another chance and visit us again. - DQ Fan Relations Team" That basically translates to customers "We don't really care what you say." The company should be embarrased for sending out the same worthless response. What team thought this would be a good idea? I can't even imagine that there is a team. Instead, why not provide an opportunity for a customer to call you to discuss, and figure out a "legitimate" way to resolve the issue. That is what respectable companies would do. You spend a lot of money to attract customers and yet you do nothing to try to keep them when they have a negative experience. I take my son to this location on occasion and the staff is always helpful, efficient and friendly. Today I'm writing a review because we ordered an ice cream cake from them. I was being annoying and calling asking when it would be ready and then last minute asking if they could change the message on the cake (from "Daddy" to Nick" because I realized not everyone calls my son's dad "Daddy") they took my request and were very patient with me. Oh which 4,300 DQs are right here in the US, which makes it especially odd that we only have about a half-dozen throughout the Bay Area; this Campbell location is the only one stand-alone location in the South Bay. The Good: *Friendly service *Food was made hot-&-fresh *I got the #1 Double Bacon Burger and it honestly shocked me how good it was. I'd almost put it on-par with maybe even In-N-Out--but don't quote me on that. ;) *Onion rings were worth the $2 upgrade as they were crispy, delicious, and not too greasy. In other words, fast food onion ring perfection. The Meh: *I am not a fan of those fast food "ice cream" things with added candy, namely the DQ Blizzard®. I know you think I'm crazy, but hear me out, I am just not a fan of that weird fatty/oily texture those leave on your tongue. It just grosses me out and plus it was just so fucking sweet. First timer here! I grew up on fosters freeze so I was interested to see if I would like one more than the other. This location is pretty nice. It's a "grill & chill" so there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The area is pretty nice as well. Has its own parking lot. The staff was friendly and everyone was working hard to get the orders out quickly. They have a decent sized food menu but everyone I saw come in was really there for the frozen treats. I like that they sell ice cream cakes and popsicles to go. Even vegan ones! I appreciate that they have specials and seasonal flavors so it's not just the traditional menu all the time. I had to try their blizzard because I grew up seeing the commercials and also hearing about the upside down guarantee. I ordered a small Reese's peanut butter cup pie. It was served upside down, woo! The portion was more than I expected for a small but I couldn't stop eating it! It was delicious! Super creamy, lots of peanut butter cup chunks. 10/10 in my book. The verdict- I think I'm always going to be a fosters freeze girly but DQ is a worthy contender. I'd come back :). read more

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this Dairy Queen. My son ordered a double cheeseburger and was given a single. When I went back to let the cashier know, he passed the message to the cook, what happened next was unacceptable. The cook grabbed another patty with his bare hands (no gloves), straight out of a container of cooked meat, added cheese, and microwaved the burger. I asked why he handled the food without gloves, and his response was that the FDA told them it's more sanitary to use bare hands than gloves. I find that very hard to believe and extremely unprofessional. On top of that, the entire kitchen area looked dirty and disgusting the surfaces didn't look clean, and the area behind the counter gave the impression that sanitation is not a priority at this location. Between the questionable food handling and the unclean environment, I left feeling uncomfortable and left the food that I had paid for. I won't be returning, and I suggest others think twice before eating here unless serious improvements are made. read more

Everything was good but one of the ice cream that had chocolate and peanut they did not have. But when we were ordering they told us that they had no peanut, so we just told them add more chocolate syrup. When it was getting made after we paid for it the came out a said that the didn't not have chocolate, so we just say do vanilla. I've been coming to this Dairy Queen for 28 years. I had ordered a cake for my father's birthday with a pick up at 2:00pm because that is the time I thought we'd be finished with his doctor's appointments. We end up finishing a little early and decide to pick up the cake while we are still out. I call to make sure the cake is ready and it is. I arrive 15 minutes early and the shorter woman with glasses gives me the worst attitude because of this. She gives me a "talking to" and lets me know next time she will not give us the cake until it's the pick up time - even if it's ready. I put in this order weeks ago, I would hope my cake would be ready 15 minutes before pick up. I don't see the issue and apparently that upset her. read more

When you first walk in to this spot, it truly looks like things haven't changed or been renovated since the early 00s. Since I hadn't been here in a while I knew I had to try their famous blizzard and a cheeseburger. The burger was actually not bad for a fast food burger. I think the mustard and ketchup were a little much, I think all it really needs is mayo. But the burger itself tasted pretty good. For the blizzard, they had a seasonal flavor for mint and I added oreos. This was hella good. Tasted just like a thin mint but with oreos. The oreos were kinda old tasting, but still tasty none the less. The funfetti dipped cone tasted as you'd imagine. I little too sweet for my taste, but if you like sugary things, this will do the trick. Overall, if I'm in the area, craving some dessert, this is worth a stop but it's not something I'm going to have over n over again. read more

This was me and my boyfriend's first experience at Dairy Queen. He got a mint (Oreo?) blizzard and I got a butterscotch dipped ice cream cone. It was so delicious. I loved the texture of the butterscotch dip although it had like a waxy, play dough aftertaste. I'm rating it three stars because the tables were dirtyyy. Like all the tables had crumbs on them so we had to wipe it with napkins but it was still sticky. After a Mexican food dinner that was not quite filling enough we decided to come here for a Blizzard. Since this place is about 5 or so miles away from our home, we haven't come here yet since moving back into the area, and decided tonight was a great time to get our Blizzard on!! LOL I love cherry anything so when I saw the Cherry Chip Blizzard on the menu, I immediately decided that was what I wanted. I was expecting actual cherries in there, however, buyer beware, it's just a cherry syrup. Sure there was cherry flavor and a nice amount of chocolate shavings, but I was very disappointed to see not even one cherry My husband got the Snickers Blizzard and he said it was pretty good, and our daughter got the Heath Caramel Brownie Cupfection, which was by far the best of the 3 choices, as the brownie was huge and fresh and warm right out of the oven, just amazing. Dairy Queen is truly as American as apple pie compare to In N Out Burger or McDonald's but at DQ they have their $7 meal deal including dessert a real eye-catching one that draws attention. I'm always on a lookout for special deal and this is where its at though I haven't been here in five years but still the same concept dollar value and service. Dull boring interior definitely needs a complete renovation nothing spectacular wide angle view ample parking and outdoor seating. It was raining when I came by on a Saturday morning. Staff employees are very attentive and polite I had the $7 meal deal 3- piece chicken strips comes with fries, sundae parfait and drinks quite a bargain and very fulfilling. There were hardly any customers due to heavy rain and as I was leaving there were about six or seven people coming in all at once.
