Seems like pub food is very popular down by Carlsbads/San Diego. Karl Strauss brewery is also within 5 mins distance. All American food menu - large portions and relatively tasty. No complaints. Service was a little scattered - served without utensils or napkins... or plates... or drinks... but the staffs were friendly.

I looove the open space layout and decor of this restaurant. It has a pleasant but yet vibrant atmosphere especially during football season. The service is usually respectful and timely. The drinks and food are pretty good depending on what you order. Overall, I usually have a positive experience when I'm there. I definitely recommend this restaurant to the Yelp Community :-)

Rode down to Carlsbad for lunch and stopped into Draft Republic. Definitely a sportspersons mecca as well as good food, beer, and service. Ordered the Draft Republic Sliders (3 slider combination; 2 beef with american cheese, pickles, nashville fried chicken with coleslaw) with fries and a garden salad. Washed down with a Blonde Ale Pure Project (Tropical Mist).

My family and friends and I love coming here for dinner! Although it is more of a sports bar with an arcade, they do have some full restaurant seating options. Their food is amazing here as well. Honestly everything I've ever ordered has impressed me every time. I recently had their blackened shrimp chop chop salad and it was divine. Their vinaigrette with feta cheese really brought all of the different flavors of the salad together. Shrimp was perfectly blackened too! Some of my favorite apps include their brussel sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, buffalo and sweet chili lime wings, bang bang shrimp, and onion rings. All of their pizzas and especially their spicy bbq chicken Mac and cheese are just delicious. I honestly don't think you could go wrong with any option you can order off their menu!

What a great sports bar! Came for the FIFA game - definitely a great place to catch future matches. Multiple large screen TVs all around- so no matter where you sit, you'll catch the action. Watch all the action with a great drinks and food menu. We had the giant pretzel - which did not disappoint. Very large, airy and chewy - served with both a cheese sauce and a honey mustard sauce. Extensive beer menuVery attentive service, regularly checking on us to make sure we were good. Also, very dog friendly. They call it an outdoor patio - but it's covered and feels like it's inside. Enjoy !

Our server- Mia was super friendly and helpful, that made the frst visit very enjoyable. Huge selection of good beer and many holidays promotions, even the fun golf stimulation room has Wed half off, and it's a great deal!

Well, we were going to go to the burger joint that you can get In and Out of really quickly, but we had a gift card for Draft Republic so decided to give that a try. It had a cool sporty vibe with lots of TVs showing various games which was entertaining for us. As luck would have it we arrived a few minutes before Happy Hour was ending. Score! The hubby ordered Happy Hour salad, and the pretzel bites to precede his meal. He liked the salad, but I had the pretzel bites and they were soft, warm, and pillowy and the beer cheese dip was out of this world! I also ordered the $20 Happy Hour deal which included a smash burger, a small salad, fries (I upgraded to onion rings) and a beer. Everything was fantastic. The burger was so tasty and it was a nice touch to get the salad AND a side. The hubby got the chicken Parmesan - two huge pieces of well prepared chicken and a good amount of spaghetti. Needless to say, we took half of our meals home, which was a bonus. Our server was Carlos and he made sure we were taken care of. He even made sure my burger meal came out at the same time as the hubby's main dish, even though it was a Happy Hour item. Gift card or not, I'm looking forward to going back and trying more things.

Got to watch the Australian Open on one of the many TVs there!
    Jonathan L.

Came here as part of a wedding group, and they were able to comfortably fit us all! Service was fast and friendly, and there are lots of TVs everywhere (we watched the Australian tennis open). There is an arcade and golf simulators for those who are so inclined, and the food was great! We had sliders (beef, friend chicken, and pulled pork), mac and cheese with friend onions, and French fries--all were simple but delicious!

Our first and last time here!!!!! Waitress was nice I'll give them that. But the food- holy moly the food. I got a $23 surf and turf sandwich which seemed like the bread just read about surf and turf online. Very little meat no veggies and no sauce on stale but somehow greasy bread . . Fries were the star of my show but the ketchup was chipotle and after asking for more it had a very different consistency. Small salad was just that a pedestrian tea cup salad with a vinaigrette and stale croutons. Quesadilla seemed like someone took a scoop of fatty meat and cheese and place it in the middle of the tortilla leaving the outer edges sad and dry. Beer list was okay- some great breweries but only their flagships. I will say $10 for a pint of space dust is insane. It's not good exotic or expensive- it's just over 9%. The ambiance left much to be desired as our table conversation was drowned out by high volume awful poppy music, a table full of teenagers throwing ice at each other and their parents two tables over screaming across the table. The cherry on the top a a surprise 5% feet to cover increased cost. Ummm. I just paid $22 for a quesadilla with about $2 worth of ingredients $23 for roll that pretended to be a sandwich and $8-10 a pint for generic beer. What increased cost is not covered?!? Do yourself a favor and wait for a table at Karl Strauss or Yard house.

We came here on a whim for my husband's birthday. Service was AMAZING. Management was super helpful. One of the games wasn't working and my 7 year old tapped the card repeatedly not understanding it wasn't working. Totally drained the card. Our sever immediately got management to fix it. We had an absolute blast! Our server was Gage, but everyone was so helpful it was hard to tell who our server was. Definitely come during the daytime/early afternoon. No crowds. Just fun!!

It's a beautiful, comfortable place to sit, relax, and have a drink, and the service was good. The one disappointment was the coffee. For a restaurant at this level--and at these prices--I expected the coffee to be much better. Overall, everything is definitely on the expensive side, which is somewhat expected at a resort, but you definitely notice it. One funny thing we noticed: the sign above the door appears to be backwards and reads "Twenty|20" instead of "20|Twenty." It's a small detail, but once you notice it, you can't really unsee it! Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would give it four stars based on the atmosphere, drinks, and service. I'd come back for cocktails, but probably look elsewhere for my morning coffee.

You can enter it direct from the hotel lobby or via an exterior entrance close to the main hotel entrance. It features a large and beautiful dining room, stylish bar and ample seating outside to enjoy the outstanding Southern California weather. We had two breakfasts here. We ordered off the menu on day one and ate outside, and we ordered their Weekend buffet ($25) on day two and ate inside. Both breakfasts were made extra special by our wonderful server Digna. We were so lucky to enjoy her fun personality, engagement, and overall charm on both mornings. On Day One, I ordered something I had seen on menus for years, but never tried before. My Chilaquiles ($22) were" a savory bowl of Boraccho beans, queso fresco, avocado, eggs, red onion, bathed in a guajillo chile sauce". I thanked Digna who taught me how to pronounce it. I loved the taste- the sauce and the tortilla wedges, sliced avocado, and egg. What a feast. On Day Two I went with the buffet and went straight to the big pile of smoked salmon, red onion slices, chive cream cheese and mini bagels. The salmon was high quality thinly sliced, just the way we like it. The buffet also had everything you want in a buffet- hot dishes, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The fruit was great-plenty of watermelon, assorted melons, and berries. I did find it odd that when I went to toast my bagel, I saw they only had one toaster with four slots. Unfortunately, the two left slots did not work, so restaurant patrons were lining up to toast their breads one at a time. I mentioned this to one of the staff, and his response was "Yeah, we know." Anyway, that indifferent reaction was more than counterbalanced by the fantastic food and Digna's 1,000-watt personality. And what's the origin of Digna's unique name? I asked her and she said her mother named her after a street in her home town.

BROCCOLI. and after taking one bite, i learned that broccoli could, in fact, be life changing. suddenly i was a new woman. a woman who wanted nothing more than to sit there and stuff her face with massive amounts of broccoli. unfortunately, i couldn't because we still had dishes to taste. and so i moved on to the pork belly. when people describe something as "melting in your mouth," they are specifically referring to Campfire's pork belly. because that's exactly what it did. just melted all up in my mouth and lit my taste buds on fire. normally, i find pork belly prepared this way a little heavy and can only stomach a few bites, but i could have eaten the entire dish. but of course i didn't, because i'm a lady. and the octopus was about to show up. and show up it DID. i don't like celery, and this dish had plenty of it, but because it was shaved super thin, it was actually super palatable. the octopus was incredibly tender, and there were little bits of chorizo throughout that gave it the perfect balance. also, love me a good chimichurri sauce. and finally, last but truly not least, the chicken. a whole ass half bird, charred to perfection with roasted red pepper, kumquat, and fennel. apparently i like fennel now??? i didn't even know i liked fennel like that, but here we are. if i hadn't already been stuffed to the absolute brim, i could have destroyed this entire dish. the chicken was juicy and tender, and paired with the fennel, you're almost like just having a healthy dish??? LOL. although we went in with every intention of ending the night with s'mores, our bodies simply said no. there was no more room at the inn. see what i did there :P so instead, we left and went on a very long walk to digest all the delicious goodness that was Campfire. i cannot wait to go back. mostly for the broccoli, which is a sentence i never thought i'd write in my life. and this time, i will absolutely be making a reservation.

The good: - Good quality and flavor The bad: - Where's the protein? Just a few pieces of steak (It's like playing where's Waldo to find it) - Where are the fries? Just a few fries (Do you see them?) - The salsa? Enough for a single dollop I would have said something to the staff, but no one cared. Dirty and un-bussed tables. No one checking in. No napkins or utensils brought to me with my food. Etc... I really wanted to like this place. It was so un-filling for over $20, I had to eat lunch after lunch. Waste of empty tortilla calories and next to no protein. This place has all the opportunity and quality to be a solid go-to. Highly disappointed.
