I'd go back if it was closer just for the vibe, but that being said, it's a little of a trek from Palm Springs and we have a lot of great local spots I will probably go to that are in that price range.

I bothered the rulers on your buffet. It seems inadequate for someone to tell you that you can't order another plate without your party finishing their food first. I feel that it's inadequate when you pay for a full meal and the other person can eat as fast as you do. This is ridiculous that if you don't order that, did they want to sit you in a different scenie and if you didn't like it, they want to charge it for the plate in addition to what they really charge you. I think these rules are ridiculous. I think that the person that made these rules were made intentionally just to gouge the client I want to in addition, I had ordered the the teriyaki steak bowl. The vegetables aren't steamed to his polished about potential the salad tasted like they just tossed it in there without regards to taste or flavor. I I feel that the food here is inadequate. The coke doesn't pour any type of a good flavoring in it. This is my first time here and as a critic I don't understand how they can put rules on when and and how and how you can order when you're a pain customer and you said a value on this food for a certain amount. I believe that they should abolished those rollers and maybe the people will will come back more so furthermore, they even state that one can taste the food that your partner has. If you're not a part of that order, what if I want to taste it and order some of that? It's impossible here because they want to charge you for everything they want to dictate, how you eat, how much you eat and if there's anything left over they want charge you for that for that food. Now my wife got here was here and she ended up getting sick because she didn't want to pay that price or not finishing that food. I don't believe that these rules are made for the establishment where they sell food. These rules are made for either a prison or not here. This is not professional. Yay. I finally have a good quality place that's appropriately priced in Indio. I've always been a fan of sushi. Unfortunately, the price of sushi is always difficult for a big guy like me to get full. So I tend to get ayce. However, I enjoy the quality rolls and nigiri that certain places has to offer. This place has great quality for a very fair price. I went here for lunch with some colleagues and we got some pretty delicious rolls. They have some good lunch specials and happy hour items. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. Best part...for me is the new addition with the bar menu . I definitely recommend this place if you're having a craving and want some decent sushi. I recommend the Red Mountain,and the Indio Roll. but if you are in a hurry I recommend to ask your server for he especial roll of the day sushi is always fresh and made to order Dragon gets really busy please be patient, sushi is art takes time to make read more

This sushi joint has potential to be great; however, its owners hire waitresses who are incompetent and underprepared. I had to wait for the standard condiments, wasabi and ginger, until after I had finished my roll. You can also blame this to the fact they don't add ginger or wasabi on every roll, I get it, it's cost effective. If the waitresses knew what they were doing, then that should not have been a problem. To make matters worse, I had to wait more than 15 minutes to sit because there were 4 tables put together with the 'reserved' sign. With such a hole in the wall, how do the owners feel it's lucrative to send away at least 6 couples for a party who was late? Good food, bad management, bad waitresses. read more

Today we are having AYCE, food tastes very good , especially their nigiri. My favorite is Philadelphia hand roll, always tastes amazing, plenty of fish and little of rice. I always check the freshness of salmon eggs, just pop them with chopstick, if they pop -fresh, if slowly liquid pours out-old. BIG minus in this place is SERVICE , it always takes forever to get our drinks refilled, unless you ask them to. Servers never ask how we are doing, or if we need anything, today was the same old story. And, obviously, takes 10min to get our card back after we payed. Overall, I love food here and their nigiri ( especially Cajun tuna) , but SERVICE makes the experience here disappointment . read more

This place is alright, if you sit on the side where the bar is it will take longer to get some service, the sushi is good but sometimes they take forever just to bring out two pieces of nigiri. Some items are overpriced like i think, 7 bucks for some seaweed salad? Despite all this i still come back though. The sushi is pretty good. I did order a red mountain last night tho and it came to me in shambles. Presentation is a big thing with sushi so when the server dropped it off at my table i was just sad that they had brought this plate out and they thought it was ok. read more

I saw a post on Twitter , where finally someone outed these people . One of their male staff harasses women . When I went with friends , he would not stop trying to flirt with us . We even brought it to the managers attention and she didn't care . Exactly what the post said as well , the manager allows sexual harassment in the work place , as well as with customers . And yes they have roaches . Though text messages were leaked where now they've cleaned even under the rocks because they knew health inspectors would be around . Will never be back. read more

I was about to call the health department right ager my water came out.. there was a small fly in my water.. really? I don't know how the server couldn't see the fly floating on clear water.. that just ruined my appetite.. we ordered our food and.. yea.. never coming back.. Honestly the best sushi/Japanese restaurant I've been to in the desert. I've been to many places and none compare to this. We ordered 2 of the dinner choice options with gyoza, chicken, salmon, and California rolls, along with a dragon roll and a crunchy Philadelphia roll.
