Best in the desert if you ask me.... always fresh fish, always great service.... a little hard to find since it is in a small strip mall hidden from the street. They have an all you can eat special with a great selection but I usually opt for a la carte ordering which costs me about the same. None of the regular sushi guys are here and the sushi came out with too much oil, not spicy enough, no seeds...every roll just wasn't finished like it usually is & it was disappointing. Food as always is great but their service is always what kills them literally took one of their servers 10mins to bring me a refill and forgot to bring it back when she took it and when she did bring it was the wrong drink i honestly think if you dont enjoy where you work just quit nobody wants to see your mopy a $$ face while you serve them it just makes the experience less desireable. Never ever going here again multiple times I've come here and I guess i didn't learn my lesson. A week ago I came with my wife and I did all you can eat ordered my rolls and my wife ordered teriyaki chicken they didn't even bring her order out for about 20 min after they had already brought my order out. Really horrible then I go tonite and make an order to go and I ask for Sarachi sauce to go and the waitress tells me they charge for sauce but yet if I was eating in at the restaurant they wouldn't charge for sarachi sauce I'm truly lost on this logic. So I am a very picky eater. I also don't eat seafood. However, writhing this year I discovered the veggie role. I order it, and received a fried veggie that I fell in love with! Within the past two months I've been told twice that they can't make. Which was odd because they had made it multiple times. This is the role I come to dragon sushi for, and all of a sudden they stopped making it. The last time I went and they mentioned they couldn't make it, i was not pleased. I was so rude to the poor waiter, and I didn't care because all I wanted was the roll I had been craving for two months. I was an absolute nightmare. Jacob or josh was our waiter and he even though I had treated him so poorly he went above and beyond to help me. He got his manager Isabel to help out, and they called the PD Dragon Sushi trying to figure out what I normally ordered. They eventually came to my table and helped me build my sushi. Took my parents to lunch, since we wanted to try this place. I ordered the spicy chicken plate. My parents ordered the teriyaki chicken plate and beef bowl with vegetables. We got our miso soup and salad at the same time. After we finished our soup and salad.My parents got their food. The teriyaki chicken was ok, not marinated, looks like the sauce was poured on top. My parents said that the teriyaki sauce was too sweet. While my parents was finishing their food and Iwas still waiting for my food. I asked the waitress, how much longer, she looked like she had an attitude because of her body language. Finally my food came. The spicy chicken plate was ok, it had a sweet and spicy taste. I absolutely love the Mango Tango and the Desert Dots. After destroying the rolls I order in the restaurant, I order additional Mango Tango rolls to take home for lunch the next day. There is only a small flaw in the additional roll logic....the rolls I bring home don't usually survive the night...I end up slaughtering those a couple hours after I get home. I've been coming here for awhile now and it's always been good, but today I ordered to go and as I was standing there looking at the menu, I overheard a waitress say "there was a table with a large check and they only left a $7 tip, no more Mr. Niceguy! Everyone gets service fees today!". I ignored this, and ordered my sushi. I ordered a caterpillar roll, salmon roe nigiri, and a coke. A lady handed me the bag of food and said "the sauces are in the bag" and quickly walked off. I got home, open up my food and not only was there no sauce at all included as she told me, but there wasn't any sauce on the caterpillar roll at all which was strange, I get this roll all the time. I check out the salmon roe nigiri and it's not even what I had ordered. Oh well I guess I'll just eat this stuff then, wrong, I am chewing on my second piece of the caterpillar roll and get a fish bone. I have been eating sushi for my whole life and never once have I gotten a fish bone in a roll until today. Won't be returning, time to find a new sushi spot! read more

This is my to-go sushi place; because it's close to home AND because it is very good! I am a fan of traditional, fresh, simple sushi. I've had their Philadelphia Rolls and their Rainbow Rolls and both have been very delicious! They drizzled the same sickeningly sweet sauce on every dish we ordered. The tofu tasted spoiled, even the lemon wedges on the glasses water were dirty and rancid. Poor and indifferent service. Over $80.00 for three... no drinks or desserts. It's so gross I can't believe this restaurant exists. The bathrooms were not completely dirty but there was hair in the sink. The place is small but has shaded outdoor seating as well as indoor seating and everything is decorated very nicely. I visited during regular lunch hours and the place was very busy. Dragon sushi is yummy. If your looking for pretty good sushi in Indio this is the place. My favorite is the spicy tuna roll (ninja roll). It has a piece of Serranp pepper on top just the right amount of spice. Another of my favorites that I had for the first time was the yellow stuffed peppers they are mild and so good, they're filled with a shrimp filling.
