This is my neighborhood bubble tea spot. I usually order the signature bubble tea and have tried the roasted tie guan tin team also, which was good. Consistently, the boba bubbles are perfectly boiled and juicy! Always friendly and prompt service. So glad they are walking distance! read more

This place is fantastic. You get to pick your toppings, and the staff is super friendly and coaches you through it. The shop is very clean and the workers wear masks and are very conscious of social distancing. I was very impressed and happy to see them in the neighborhood. Dragon horn tea I saw their drinks on Instagram which caught me an attention to give them a try. If you check in through yelp you will get 10% off!! I love matcha and grapefruit.. so my friend ordered traffic light drink that has 3 flavors which were matcha grapefruit and orange also added taro balls. My friend he got the passion fruit jasmine which comes with brown & white bubbles and coconut jelly. Traffic light drink is only for a picture. The drink itself was terrible the grapefruit was just sour and bitter with the matcha. I dont know if it was because I only chose 30% sugar but the the drink i got i wouldn't ever get it again. The only thing I liked about that drink was the taro balls it was soft and chewy. I end up throwing out the drink after 4 sip because it was just too sour. My friend didn't like his drink either. The drink itself its called as passion fruit jasmine but barely taste any jasmine besides just too sweetness. read more

Came here and ordered a couple of drinks to go. Nice cool place. I ordered the black oolong tea and plum green tea both with boba. The oolong tea was very refreshing as well as the plum green tea. Although I will say it took me a minute to get used to the sweet/sour taste of the the latter. If you like tamarind, then you'll love this drink because it tastes just like that for me (maybe wven a little more sour than tamarind). It's a very refreshing drink on a hot day! read more

Nice indie bubble tea shop in the Financial District that offers something a little different from your big chains (e.g. Coco's, Vivi's or Gong Cha). What I like about them is that they offer flavored bubbles and jellies, like taro, mango and lychee, which you don't see all that often. Service is always quick and friendly. read more

I wanted to like this place so bad! It's a tiny shop off WTC near rector st., I usually go to Gong cha near Fulton st but found this place on google. When you check in on Yelp there is a coupon which the only clerk at the store did not know if they would accept (so wouldn't). Then the outside of my drink was completely sticky making my hands sticky. When I put the straw through the top the cup was so cheap that the drink started spilling from the top because the air was let out and the cup squished in my hand. By this time I was so irritated I couldn't even enjoy my drink. read more

honestly one of the better boba places I've found in ny. the boba was SO CHEWY and sweet and the perfect texture (if you like soft boba, this is on the harder side). the tea itself wasn't really sweet (i got half sweet, half ice), so if you like your drinks sweet, i'd go for regular 100% (i usually get 25% or 30%). overall, will try it again !!! read more

First sip I wasn't a big fan. About 1/3 through I thought it's not too bad. I got a milk tea with taro bubbles. The milk tea had a slight astringent taste commonly associated with tea but it had none of the relevant tea fragrance. There's an overlaying milk flavor that is reminiscent of Coco's milk tea. Not a big fan of the somewhat mushroomy milk aftertaste but it's not a strong note. The taro bubbles were chewy and sweet. They really carried the whole drink. Service was fast and got my drink within 3 minutes. Recommend getting the taro bubbles with something that is not the regular milk tea. read more

I stopped by last week and the drinks we had received were awful. Maybe they were having an off day, but the drinks were disgusting. We ordered the Matcha Strawberry Drink and Thai Milk Tea Drink. The Strawberry Matcha drink didn't taste anything like matcha, just cheap strawberry jelly and overly sweet. The Thai Tea Drink was the worst of the two. It tasted NOTHING like Thai tea! I live a block over from this place and surprisingly went for the first time since I moved over the weekend. This is dangerously close to me. They have so many great choices, some are unique and some are classic. I tried some new, something I usually wouldn't go for and that was Plum Jasmine Green Tea. It was sweet and tangy. I did enjoy it but next time around I'll ask for less sugar. My roommate got the Thai tea bubble tea which was great too - a classic done correctly. read more

Mango green tea: Has a good flavor for the drink and it was refreshing. i really liked the mango star jelly addition which made it a ton better so I would choose that for the topping. Bubble milk tea: This drink was very bland and not flavorful. i didn't like how the boba pearls had very little brown sugar syrup flavor and the drink was just really bland overall. Lychee jasmine green tea: By far, their best drink i've tried. get this with the mango jelly. read more

I love them here. The taro fresh is made with real tarp and tastes like it should (kinda like a vanilla sweet potato, debate your mother) and not so sweet and artificial. I also like the different kinds of bubbles they use. My biggest reason for giving five stars, they still give a community vibe. I live in the area, and we're absolute swamped by tourists. They still recognize me (mask and all) know my order and lemme know when there's new things to try (I'm always open to new things, but I always come back to their famous Taiwanese tea!) & over all its just a dope space. Super clean. The owner is super nice; you'd never guess who it is because he's just back there getting the drinks ready with everyone else. & the customer service is top tier. I recommend them, especially if you want to try real bubble tea. It's not powdered, lol. read more

If you are looking for bubble tea in the financial district, run to this place. I had several of their teas and they are delicious. Each one is better than the other. Came back a second time and it was better. I got the passion fruit jasmine green tea with brown sugar boba. The brown sugar boba is actually sweet and soft enough in chewiness, unlike last time. I got 50% for the fruit tea, which actually is a little too sweet for my taste - would recommend maybe even no sweetness since it is fruit tea. First time here and I loved my drink !! Nothing quenches the thirst like a refreshing jasmine tea. I got mine with three toppings- mango jelly, coconut jelly, and brown sugar boba. Though there was only one guy working, he handled the stream of customers like a pro, and still took his time to make the drinks well. I appreciate the small tables outside and the cute props inside the store. My only minor complaint is that the brown sugar boba just tasted like regular boba, but it's not a big deal. read more

I'm so happy and excited that they finally opened just in time for the hot and sticky summer. I've been looking forward to trying their bubble tea and I wasn't disappointed. The brown sugar fresh milk tea doesnt default the sugar level to be in the middle and so when the cashier asks make sure you tell them a level because I made the mistake today, assuming like other bubble tea places, that the normal sugar amount was 70%. It was not, now I'm just drinking plain milk with bubbles in it, no brown sugar at all, it's honestly gross and a waste of money, 7$ for whole milk and some bubbles... def not worth. Seems kind of dumb to put a drink like this on the menu tbh read more

I came here with my cousin this past Monday, 8/3. We were eating next door at Bao Bao and wanted something cold and refreshing to drink. We came to the right place! Our servers, Shawn/Sean and Cindy, were both very friendly and pleasant! They both wore masks and the facility was very clean. I wanted an iced coffee and Shawn told me about one of their new drinks, Lemonade iced coffee! I could not imagine this combo because I thought milk was involved. I was pleasantly surprised! It may not be for everyone BUT I LOVED it! Each sip was lemonade-y AND roasted coffee bean taste (no milk!) I kid you not! It's been awhile since I've had tea here because I moved out of the neighborhood. I was excited to try it again since I was nearby and ordered the oolong tea with boba since they were out of taro balls. I took it to go so I asked for no ice. When I got home, the boba was hard and like how I remembered. I could tell it was old boba or boba that's been sitting around too long. Leaving this feedback in hopes they won't serve old boba anymore. It was a very disappointing experience because I was so excited for my boba but it was a waste. read more

The best bubble "tea" shop in town! The thing I couldn't live without is bubble tea... unfortunately the only two close shops around me are gongcha and kungfu tea (Gongcha is better :)) I wish I lived close by. This is a Taiwanese tea shop that uses a variety of real leaf tea. You can taste the freshness of the tea from the cup! The jasmine green tea is super refreshing for the summer. The other unique treat you can get from this shop is the taro balls -- a Taiwanese dessert. Get them! I suggest add to your milk tea of choice 0% sugar + taro balls. This review is specifically for their traffic light drink. I had to stop by and try it because in my mind I was so curious as to how the combination of matcha, orange juice, and grapefruit would turn out. I was hoping for something refreshing and citrusy, but not too sweet. You can't adjust the sweetness of this drink, but upon trying it it was just perfect. Cheng has over 30 years restaurant industry. His career started in a large restaurant in Hong Kong. After moving to the US in 1992, he opened seven different Chinese restaurants throughout the years. One of my favorite parts of this shop is that their tea menu is all around the shop, right on their walls. So, you walk around the shop, look at the different teas (organized by type, caffinated/non-caffinated), smell them, and read the labels. I had a lot of fun doing this! Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
