TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. OVERPRICED BAD NAILS. *75$ BASIC GEL PEDICURE* I lived in the neighborhood my whole life, my sister currently still lives in bel air and we never thought to stop here. We came in on a tuesday afternoon. These women don't know how to remove nail polish (handed my sis the cotton ball to do it herself!!??) nor can they follow instructions such as "don't cut my cuticles etc.." or "I don't want a manicure don't do it or charge me please". I am shocked that I was physically held down my the staff when my sister ran over to the bank across the street to get cash (their convenient atm was broken, spit 80 dollars out when I asked for 200, then the nail lady grabbed it and gave it to another customer who apparently wasn't able to get her money out earlier? SHADY) and some coffee while my toes dried and she clearly said she'd be right back to the technician. they charge 60 dollars for a basic gel pedicure (callus buffing is 15$ extra!!) and tried to make my sister pay 100 dollars for my regular pedicure and nonconsensual manicure, which she did. They tried to bribe her with a 25$ gift card oddly. Never go here. read more

*PREDATORY BUSINESS ALERT* This business is scamming customers from their ATM and is trafficking and abusing/underpaying their staff. I know this because I work with immigrants who need protection in our sanctuary state andI know the signs. Normally i would never even leave a review but this was a weird experience (I requested to withdraw 200 and 80 came out, was swiftly snatched my the manager and I was told it was another customers money who would be right back to get it as their machine was apparently acting up. I did not see the person return during the time i was there) Ridiculously overpriced (75$ a gel pedi, 100 dollars for a simple regular pedicure and polish change, not even a manicure). 10/10 stay away. I hope they remove this business from my neighborhood, the owner is borderline criminal. I see that people have been physically assaulted in reviews upon reading in retrospect. I got a regular manicure and pedicure here recently. I was impressed how they paid attention to detail when cutting my cuticles and doing callous removal. The manicure and pedicure took over an hour but it was worth it once I saw how clean my hands and feet were afterwards. I also felt a difference in comfort with my pedicure here vs. other places. Other places remove some cuticle and call it a day. This place really digs out all the extra cuticle and extra nails in between your actual nail and skin and removes it out. I felt both my manicurist and pedicurist were pretty gentle while doing all this. I felt very happy leaving here knowing my hands and feet got the best treatment in years of going to nail salons for mani pedi. Highly recommend this location !!! read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SALON EXPERIENCE. Grossly overpriced, terrible customer service. 75$ gel pedicure and its peeling now (day after) I had to just request they stop trying to change my regular nail polish as the tech refused to remove all of the old polish and rudely handed me the cotton ball with almost zero remover on it. Surreal and terrible. ATM was "broken" and spit out 80/200 dollars I requested and the owner snatched the cash from the dispenser and handed it to another customer saying it had been broken earlier. Thought I was trying to leave w/o paying when i went to the wells fargo to get cash to pay, even though my friend AND GIVENCHY BAG were still in the establishment. I was in the neighborhood visiting a friend and unexpectedly got a mani/pedi today. The salon is peaceful and quiet. The ladies who did my nails were gentle and attentive to their work, and also advising me not to put polish over my nails. (I did my own last night half asleep. haha.) I asked them to pick out colors for me since I wanted to try something different. I love both the colors and outcome of the polish. I thought they almost look like gels. Everyone here is so kind! I showed up at 9:30am not realizing they don't open until 10:00, the lady told me it wasn't a problem and got working on my nails while the other employees were showing up for work. The salon is very clean and everyone is very professional and personable. Great price as well! Only down side is parking can be a bit tricky, they validate parking so I suggest parking in the lot, the metered spots around the salon are a 1 hr maximum. read more

Very clean salon! I visited LA from Denver and was badly in need of getting my nails done. I found Dream Nail Salon through Yelp and they did not disappoint me. I noticed how clean the salon is as soon as I walked in (green light!). They also had a great selection of colors. I asked for additional coats, but the adjustments made were minimal. After the appointment, I contacted the salon via WhatsApp to politely ask if they could fix a couple of things. Instead of being receptive, they dismissed my concerns entirely, saying they didn't see anything wrong--and then stated I'd have to pay for a fix. That part really baffled me. If they "don't see" an issue, how can they justify charging to fix it? The communication was unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. It's no surprise they currently have a 3.4-star rating on Yelp. It would've been far more professional to simply resolve the issue and retain a returning customer, rather than respond with attitude and brush off valid concerns.
