Ok so...dream nail salon is only worth it to go if you have hours of time (yes, HOURS). I had to put quarters in 2 hour parking 3 times throughout my time here. Keep in mind i was doing a simple pedicure and acrylics. At other places i get these treatments done in under 2 hours. Don't know why i was here from 4 to 8.... My nails looked really pretty at first, they were pretty and white! and then the day after i noticed they began to turn yellow! I went on 2/24 and i attached a picture of them from 2/25...don't really know what happened. Also let me just add that the women working here are really sweet but the woman doing my acrylics kept complaining that i had a "heavy hand"? rude lol! It's cash tip only here so make sure you bring cash. i gave this place 2 stars bc i love the shape of my nails...wish they didn't slowly change colors. update: my nails broke off in less than a week. so disappointed not worth 125$! read more

My nails desperately needed help and I was new to the area and took to Yelp. I called to make an appointment and got one in the same day! The ladies there are so sweet and nice. The prices are fair for how clean it is there and the quality of their service. I got a regular mani/pedi and my nails are still looking great after a week (my pedi better than my mani because I use my hands a lot more obviously). I messed up a nail on my hand a little as I was leaving the store and had to pull out my wallet, and they offered to repaint the nail! I came here a few times and have experienced both the best and worst manicures. Unfortunately, the best doesn't outweigh the worst experience, which is why I am giving three (tentatively two) stars. The BEST - the spa package was quite nice and the lady was able to shape my nails nicely, applying nail polish smoothly without any bubbles or uneven strokes. The WORST - Not even going to bother going into detail over the lack of patience and thoroughness...the lady was so rough in scraping the edges of my nails. It hurt so much that I had to fight from screaming out loud. I held it in just because I didn't want to seem like a baby. Also, she made one of my fingers bleed, without ever apologizing. After the manicure, my skin was red and swollen for a few days, and I got hangnails around all of my fingers for over a week. (See picture) I usually don't get hangnails at all. It is extremely overpriced for the quality of service that you receive. The salon is run down, smells bad, and the employees are not friendly. She got the material on my skin and watched my try to pick it off my palm and didn't offer to help or clean it up. Messy and rude. They're lumpy and weird and she didn't use a drill to smooth them out. My nail cracked in half opening my car door leaving the salon but they closed ten minutes after I left. I've been going to the same place for years and haven't had a cracked nail or a broken one ever! Bad materials, not enough coats (you can see my nail underneath) and cut 4 of my fingers during the service, didn't apologize or even clean the blood. $110 before tip for pedi and a fill is not a good value for the work they did. I have been coming here for about 3 months now around every 2 weeks for my gel manicure and I feel it's time I give them the great review they deserve :) I have had my nails done by the owner ( who is just fabulous) and Grace-- the sweetest person ever! So on top of amazing nails, you'll enjoy yourself there. Grace is very gentle on my nails due to I'm a giant baby about filing. She can work around my needs with out compromising the excellent quality of her work. I don't give good reviews unless they are earned. I've owned a business in the beauty industry and I am really judge-mental about people's work-- just as I was judged when I owned my business. SO DISAPPOINTED. I came in 36 ~ hours ~ ago to get my nails done as I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding in 2 days. They convinced me to get the extra $10 nail polish on my hands to "guarantee" it lasts the 4 days until the wedding, but a hopeful 2 weeks. At the airport, I ate a chicken wrap and a little bit of the sauce dropped on my hands. I wipe it with my napkins, but it completely absorbed into the nail polish. Now I'm going to a wedding with the NASTY looking nails. I washed my hands with soap right after, rubbed them with a towel. Nothing. And I can't even go back to "fix" them for the wedding because it's out of state. read more

There were many times I left a salon not entirely satisfied with how my nails looked, and that made spending the money hurt a little more. Today I walked away from Dream Nails in love! Pam did an amazing job matching and shaping my nails to the medium/coffin style I wanted. In the 1.5 hours of work, everything was filed to perfection, and I will definitely be coming back! Dream Nails is amongst the new generation of nail salons, thank goodness! This is not your typical cheap nail salon experience. Yes, those cheap nail places have cheaper base prices, but by the time they nickel and dime you to death ($5 extra for this; $10 extra for that), you walk out having spent just about as much as the classier experience you will have here. There's no swap meet negotiation of "You want flower (or whatever fill-in-the-blank)? Ten dollar more, it's very good for you" talk here. There's no unnecessary yelling, or shoving your limbs about. You select your color (well-maintained clean bottles) from a clean area. You sit in your chair, and it's a quiet peaceful experience. I much prefer this to a chop shop, loud, nail-dust-everywhere environment you'll find anywhere that sounds like "Happy Nail," "Top Nail," "Lovely Nail," or "Queen Nails." This is Dream Nail, and it's definitely a step above. There are a few metered spots in the tiny lot it shares with Belwood and Peppone, but it's a one hour max, and well-policed. The girls ran out to feed my meter once, which was super sweet! For a less stressful experience, park in the lot at Barrington Place - 2 hours free with validation. read more

Do not go here. They have no idea what they are doing. First they tried to take my powder base off with a diluted acetone solution (it should be pure acetone). Then when the solution wasn't working (duh), they thought my nails were fake due to the length and began to cut them down to the base! I realized this after the second finger was cut when the noise I heard didn't sound like a trim and that's when I looked over. I was horrified to find out that they took off 1/2 an inch of my natural nail. They tried to justify why they thought it was fake and the asked if I wanted extensions for the two nails that were now stubs. I said no. I let them finish cleaning the polish off and then I got up and left. I booked them through ClassPass so they already had my money. Now I'm doing an at home mani for a business trip this week and a wedding after that. Please let me save you from the experience I had. Do not go here! read more

I saw that a woman that was at the nail salon while I was gave a very poor review for this nail salon. The service was excellent. Le K. Accused a woman working at the salon for "yelling" at her. There was absolutely no yelling. The customer was insanely rude to the ladies working there saying she's "never been told no before." The nail tech tried to explain to her why she couldn't add another layer and the customer (Le K.) said "you are scaring me." Disappointing seeing how rude customers can be. Sadly, this customer took advantage of the situation and chose to say she felt in "danger" even though there was absolutely no yelling and wrote a very poor review. The salon is SUPER chic, clean, and they have a certificate of congressional recognition. They're good with walk ins and same day appointments. I was very unhappy with my experience at this nail salon. The lady who did my nails did not wash her hands prior to starting my manicure. Her "simple manicure" was really minimalistic- no soaking the nails and only minimal filing. The most concerning part was at the end when I had to pay. The lady who did my nails opened my handbag (as my nails were drying) and started emptying and scattering all of the contents onto her table. I had to ask her three times to please stop. I've been searching for the nail salon of my dreams, and this is for sure it, no pun intended! My roommate made a reservation for us last week after much intensive research on a salon that did both dip and dip powder manicures, which she did. Her nails are beautiful and look absolutely spectacular, so much so that I would daresay they look perfect even a week later. I opted to get a gel manicure and express pedicure (not a fan of the foot scrub part of pedicures). My gels have lasted perfectly now over a week and look like they're going to hold strong--and I haven't at all been careful as I've tried to in the past with manicures from other salons. The nail technicians were super friendly, warm, and accommodating to all of our requests, and I loved every minute spent in that salon. One gave me a tip on parking--don't park in the metered lot, where it's an hour limit, but park in the private lot on the other side. Overall I had a super wonderful experience here, from the service to the product, that's worth the price and time. I'll be returning to get my nails redone as soon as I need to--which somehow isn't as often as it has been with other salons! Seriously can't recommend this place enough. read more
