Wow, definitely a dream team! I had a championship boxer, a world champion break dancer and a martial artist moving me and best of all they are brothers! These guys were the hardest working crew I've ever dealt with and they were fast and efficient. The price is also one of the best deals around. A & D and Nick were great! Very professional and got the job done super quickly. I did not think the job could get done in 3 hours but they were able to get it complete with 20 minutes to spare. All furniture was wrapped and dropped off to room of choice. Everything was handled with care with no damages. The response from UFreeMoving is a complete inaccurate lie. 1. I do not have 32 steps in my home, and I have actual floor plan layouts from the architect and zone planning as proof. There are 28 steps total. 2. The team was "milking" the time clock, as they are shown on video footage multiple times doing so outside of the 15 min meal break you indicated. 3. There is clear evidence on closed captioned footage of all the damages caused by this crew. As well as evidence of the crew arguing and treating myself as a woman disrespectfully. There are also several other witnesses to this to include the Public Storage Managers who also were treated poorly by UFreeMoving employees. The evidence was mailed via USPS,UPS on a SD media card to your company. This same evidence can and will be used in any lawsuit filed against this company and its employees. read more

So today I met with the crew of two from U-free moving, Dana took my info through text and email in a very efficient manner, they had given me a 2hr window of arrival but I requested if possible to start earlier and they did show up on a timely manner. This was the best moving experience I've ever had and I have had many! I found the friendly and efficient people at U-Move through a Yelp search. They were immediately the most responsive, courteous and helpful of the 3-4 companies I contacted. I handled all the arrangements online. Whenever I had questions and then even had to change the date of the move, nothing was ever a problem. I kept waiting for something "bad" to happen and it never did. And then the move itself! Communication via text was timely and accurate. The three guy team showed up on time, and the entire time, they were extremely professional, thoughtful, organized, careful, efficient...I'm running out of adjectives! The Foreman, John, and his team were just terrific. Incredibly responsive and took direction extremely well. Even helped at the end by using a power tool to fix the leg on a chest that was already broken before the move! Who does that? I'm raving because these people deserve it. Ben and his partner were absolutely phenomenal. They arrived promptly and surveyed our place before starting the clock. Both were fast, hardworking and professional and absolutely took great care of our belongings. We are moving across the country and we're moving our stuff into a upack trailer in pacoima. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment 1400 sqft in westwood but 3 kids so we actually have a ton of stuff. They were super fast to load and pack up our stuff and meet me in pacoima. This is where things become amazing. Again since we had so much stuff I was fully expecting to use about 20 feet of the trailer.. for those of you not familiar you pay by the number of feet used in the trailer. Ben and his partner used their amazing skills to get all our stuff in 12 feet!! The price difference was over $1200! They were worth every penny. My only advice would be to hire 3 movers if you can. My husband and I honestly felt bad about how much they had to hustle between the two of them. read more

I ended up paying $1,000 more than what was initially quoted to me and had $10,000 worth of laptops stolen/misplaced by them. I had the absolute worst experience with these movers and this company. Whatever you do, do NOT trust this company with your move. When the movers came, they estimated the move would take 4-5 hours. It was 9am and we thought we would be done in the early afternoon at the latest. They did not finish until 10pm. They charged us for 11 hours, which is DOUBLE what they initially told us at the start of their job (actually in the initial contract, they quoted us 3 hours so it took nearly 4x). I've read the owner's responses to other reviews and they are going to claim the movers are "so hardworking" and they "barely took breaks" - this is completely false. One of the two movers was fine but the other mover was EXTREMELY slow and MILKING the clock - how someone can do this for so many hours is unbelievable. We would check on progress and he would be staring off the balcony not doing anything. This required constant monitoring and checking in frequently. They came completely unprepared. On the phone, I let them know that we would need services to pack things up. In the initial contract, they included all the pricing for supplies. They did not bring any of these supplies when they arrived. The movers damaged our stairs because they were not strong enough to hold heavy items. And they still charged us a heavy item fee even though they were not even capable of moving heavy items... so much so that they left permanent damage to our stairs. They also left the place a complete mess with leaves and dirt everywhere. As we unpacked, we found that we are missing FIVE LAPTOPS. We have already filed a police report. We called their team repeatedly, who ignored our calls. Then when we finally spoke with them, they encouraged me to file a police report - they do not care and I am convinced that this is their business: overcharge and steal from customers, then deny and put the blame on the customer. I know that they will write a response and I just want you to know that they will lie to save face - they are going to claim that things were our fault. Do you really want to deal with a company that has a response like that? DO NOT use this moving company. You have been warned. read more
