This was the worst experience I have ever had in a salon environment. My daughter was trying to prepare for her junior prom, and we had booked for 12:30pm, and weren't seen until close to 12:50pm. Timelines for proms are very tight. We booked an Up-tini, showed them the picture in the book, and another couple of pictures asking for a loose full half-up/half-down style, basically like it shows in the picture they had in their book, but not in a bun, cascading in curls. When we sat down, there was barely a greeting, we had to forego the wash due to their lateness with no apology. Then about 20 minutes into the style, when it came to braiding/up-do, the stylist acted like she had no idea what she was doing. Doesn't say anything to us, leaves us sitting there, goes to the back, brings someone else in to try for the braid, and it was done with barely a 1/4" little braid, that was very messy in the back, coming out, and they thought they were done. I indicated that it was messy and needed to be fixed, then she goes back without talking to us again, and the manager comes out, and she says very rudely, "what is the problem?" I tried to explain that we were late, we have a prom to get to, and would like it to look a little like the picture. She said, "everyone has a special occasion." Then she began to say that she had layers (long hair with long layers). She wouldn't speak to us like clients but like we were a major pain for her to have to be bothered with. I have never felt so poorly treated. My daughter was embarrassed as she didn't want a scene, and she wanted to just get it done and leave. I will be reporting a horrible yelp. They were very unprofessional, not at all friendly, rude beyond belief and they were not at all knowledgeable. I could have tolerated that, but this was so overrated. I paid for the service and left a tip because I do what I agreed to. However, this was a miserable experience where I and my daughter were made to feel like we did something wrong. Never, would I recommend this service to anyone, and I will be letting my friends and family know. read more

I've been to this Drybar several different times always as a last resort. Every time I have a blow out done here it never lasts and the ends of my hair are frizzy and it always feels rushed. HOWEVER, today was the complete opposite that I had to leave a review for Nancy who gave me the best experience and what all blow/outs should be! From the beginning she gave me a quick detailed consultation, and asked several questions to see how exactly I would like my blowout. After I received the BEST wash with a completely relaxing massage while she was washing my hair. This young lady knows exactly what she's doing. I felt like she took just the perfect amount of time to make you feel relaxed and not rushed. Then as my blow dry went it was quick but detailed and it came out amazing and smooth. She then proceeded to tell me what products she used and I went ahead and purchased what she recommended. I will definitely be back and will book with her. Man, I was so excited for this location to open, but I don't think I'll be back. I booked a service for my anniversary on 5/25 to get dolled up for dinner with my husband. I dressed nicely and wore my hair gross and in a ponytail because I was scheduled to get it done at 3:30. I arrived at 3:15 hoping to be taken early, but all stylists were busy. I waited. and waited. and waited, and finally I had to speak to the receptionist and ask why it was taking so long, and she informed me stylists were getting off, the manager was doing payroll, and there was 1 person ahead of me so I'd have to wait. I asked her to give me an idea of how long, and she never gave me an update, even after talking with the manager. She was horrible at customer service and quite unfriendly. After being there 80 minutes without being seen, I walked out and I was pissed. Drybar really let me down. Tip: if you know you aren't going to have enough stylists, don't allow people to make an appt. It's pretty simple. Also, re-train front staff on how to be friendly and communicate with guests. I should not have had to inquire as to how long it would be - she should have notified me upon arrival that it would be an hour and she should have apologized for the inconvenience. read more

Not only has the address changed and not been updated in their system so that when you call to get some guidance the third party can't direct you but they are now located on the opposite side of the mall. I walked around for over 20 minutes before finally finding the place. Now 15 minutes late for my scheduled appointment they tell me to there is an additional 25 minute wait, but it could be longer. No apology was offered instead very rude assistance from what appeared to be the manager. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if they can't adhere to the times!?? Worst experience, unless you have hours to waste I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I booked an appointment for my friend and I together. When my friend was done they asked, "are you paying together or separate?" She said separate! My bank notifies me every time I am charged, so I received a notification that Drybar charged me while I was still getting my hair done. I told the hairstylist and my friend hey you guys charged me. Brooke the manager couldn't figure it out. Then she charged my friend. Apparently the charge was not popping up on their screen so she charged me for BOTH of our services AGAIN ON MY CARD!!! I said please stop charging me I have now paid $150 for a service I was going to pay cash. I ask what can you do because I need the reimbursement now. Brooke the manager says to call the customer service line. I leave and once I'm done they charge me THREE MORE TIMES!!!! I have been over charged and customer service line they told me to call does not do anything except report it to another department that's supposed to get back to me. It's been over 24 hours and no one has called and my account has been charged 6x!!!!!!! AND they charged my friend for hers. DO NOT GO HERE. To top it all off, my hair fell and straightened completely right after I left. read more

This was my first time at this location and my first time getting a dry style. I was very pleased with the end result. My hair had lots of volume which I wanted and the roots of my hair were smooth. Worst blowout ever. I get my hair blown out at least twice a month. I decided to give this place a try because I've been to the Drybar in Vegas and left with the best blowout of my life but I cannot say the same about this place. First, the girl at the front desk was insanely rude. Second, when I left my hair wasn't even dry! I know I have naturally curly hair, which I mentioned immediately to the stylist, but I still left with half dry hair! I was so upset with my results all I wanted to do was pay and get home to fix it myself, and that's exactly what I did. What a waste! I love this salon. I visited the salon for the first time yesterday the experience was AWESOME. My daughter had a appointment, I didn't so she asked the receptionist and the booked me right then. The stylist who styled me was the best. I'm African American with naturally curly hair. It wasn't a problem at all to wash, condition, blow dry and style my hair. My hair was sooooo very soft. Honestly, the blowout I got here had to be the worst one I've ever gotten. The wash was bad. My hair felt dry and was slightly frizzy walking out. Wherever I get my hair done by a professional it always looks amazing for 3 days minimum. Not here!!! I maybe got 2 hours out of my hair before it was completely straight and life less. Don't get me wrong, it did look fantastic for those 2 hours, BUT THAT'S IT! I started coming here because my daughter had me do services with her and I fell in love with this sinfully luxurious me time. I went by myself today and let me tell you Maddie (Madeline) gave me thee best head and neck massage ever and worked out all the kinks! She is AMAZING! Also a great listener for my long dissertation of my work history and hobbies (ghost hunting). I highly recommend this salon and Maddie. Very note worthy of mentioning is Demi who I was fortunate to have had for a salon experience prior. He also gives great massages and listens too! read more

I hate to post negative reviews but I will never go back to this business. It was a good experience up until it came time to pay. My friend scheduled the appointment for us & they needed to place her card are on file in advance. When I was done with my service i went to pay. The employee asked if I wanted to charge the card on file. I said no that is my friends card. I then handed her my card & she charged me. Come to find out, my friends card that was on file was charged SIX times. She called customer service & they were no help at all & still have not reversed the charges. Im giving 2 stars because I left pretty unhappy with my blowout. The stylist and the rest of the staff was nice but I did have to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time which I completely understand sometimes stylists fall behind but I was never told sorry for the wait or anything. I asked for loose curls but left with my hair really really dry, crispy and messy. And it felt so so dirty still. I didn't feel the stylist wash my roots at all (and I had told them prior my hair was dirty so I'd imagine they would've really tried to scrub my scalp). Which is upsetting because it's about 50 dollars for a blow out and I'm going to have to wash it again tomorrow. I just felt like it was a waste of time and money. I maybe should've said something before leaving but they were already behind and they had already put hairspray all over so I felt it was just better to pay and leave. read more

Everyone is nice but today after an appointment that took two hours I'm in my bathroom flat ironing the kinks in my roots in the back and side of my head! Totally not acceptable. Not worth it for the price! It seems that throughout the style they didn't want to use enough product as if not to waste it. Had my hair curled at 2 and by 5 my curls were flat, I essentially paid 49 dollars to have someone wash my hair for me. I could have saved the money and done it myself. Along with the curls I had asked for a French braid at the top of my head. The braid itself came out great but the frizz and fly always coming out of it made it look horrible! Felt like the stylist should have used something to control the frizz and hold the hair into place. I left there looking like someone had rubbed a balloon on the top of my head.
