    This is banh gio?!!!
    Cati H.

Buying at this place many times but this time I'm so disappointed. I ordered 3 banh gio, 3 banh giay, 2 cha but banh gio are literally old ones. It turned black the day after and the dough were dry!!! Need to throw them all ... My total bill is over $24 and those are not worth. Don't recommend for you guys.

Food is spoiled and cannot be eaten. Bring back to the store for exchange but the owner says "NO"

How could they sell this. It's not fully cooked which is super hard and dry. This banh gio is over night and The meat turned dark. The quality decreases dramatically. Unethical place while selling old for for customers.

I was very impressed with the varied selections here for ch. Definitely, this is going to be a one stop shop for me when i think of ch. They have: - Ch c - Ch sng - Ch la - Ch qu - Ch chiên - Ch bò và các món ăn chi

Last year we were introduced to Duc Huong for their "fabulous" bánh Chung (Vietnamese traditional squared glutinous rice cake for Lunar New Year) that we loved it very much. So naturally we came back for more; we purchased 4 pieces so that we can gift away to someone! Of course the cakes had been kept in the refrigerator (not freezer) as for being meat product! This morning we decided to open one as we couldn't wait any longer for that craving taste!...then we found disappointments all over. Here is the list: 1- The balance between mung bean, glutinous rice and meat is no longer there. Too much rice was used. 2- Scattered areas of uncooked rice were evident! 3- High pricing at $38 a piece does not reflect well here. For those reasons we decided to return the goods. The man at the counter wasn't impressed and had became upset. He started to accuse us for putting the cake in the freezer. He claimed how unethical we are to return the cakes and cursed that karma will find us to harm our children and grand children!!! How unethical for a business only take cash and do not issue receipts??? We didn't want to putting up a scene in public but feel that it is important for the public to know, so here is what the future customers need ti understand what can happen to them! We believe in good quality deserved good price, means when it is not ,.... Living in this part of the world where everyone has the right to return the faulty or not as expected goods; range from a car to a bottle of milk. It is our right! To deny the return, they should have displayed a big sign in the shop saying "Goods out of this shop will not be returned". Do that and let see how many customers will come. Oh! Don't come back he also barked!! What kind of business man would that be? A disgruntled and never come back customer Caption for the photo: Look at the rice color= not enough cooking time so the color from the wrapping leaves could not show Deteriorated pieces due to uncooked rice The mung bean evidently cooked and mashed separately to cut time

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

Not sure if it was just that night or if it's how their rice is always cooked, but the rice was on the drier side so I had pour soup on my rice or else it was too dry. Service was okay. I would give them another try. Maybe for their noodle soup dishes.

No matter what day or time, there seemed to be a crowd waiting to get in. Eventually, someone told us it was a seafood restaurant that specializes in snails. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the snails, and everything was absolutely delicious. The seafood was incredibly fresh, the herbs and seasonings were fragrant and flavorful, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Even the snails won me over! Honestly, this is probably one of the best seafood restaurants we've ever tried. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, which makes it an even better value. Now we've become regulars and probably eat here at least once every couple of weeks. If you've been driving by wondering what all the hype is about, trust me, it's worth checking out!

Butter scallion oyster - 3/5, the oyster was very fresh and large, but I couldn't really taste the butter scallion sauce. Quail scallop - 3/5, fine. Ordering a regular scallop dish would have probably been better. The scallop gets overcooked in the egg. The service was below average: 1. We ordered snails and they didn't give us the bamboo skewers to eat them with 2. They took away the bin to toss the shells mid meal and never returned it 3. No one checked in on our table during the meal so we didn't get any water refills 4. It was very difficult to get the attention of any wait staff 5. We were celebrating a very dear friend's 40th birthday and wanted her table to feel extra special. I reached out ahead of time to ask if we could bring our own tablecloth, dinner plate ware, and small florals to dress the table, very minimal -- and not only did they say yes, they were genuinely accommodating and warm about it. We had offered to handle all the cleanup ourselves (scraping off the food and taking it off, bringing home all the dirty dishes), but our waiter Vu went far above and beyond: after dinner, he offered to take our decorative plates to the kitchen to have them washed -- and they came back warm, dry, and spotless. That single gesture said everything about the kind of person he is and the culture of this restaurant. Vu was attentive, thoughtful, and made our entire table feel cared for all evening. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which was such a lovely touch. When I had requested a quieter, more private area of the restaurant with less foot traffic, they delivered exactly that -- a cozy corner that felt like it was just ours for the night. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We also brought a homemade matcha cake from Sugar Farm Bakery, and we offered Vu and his team a slice -- they came back out to rave about it and thank us, which just warmed our hearts. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel like family. Whether you're coming for the incredible food or looking for the perfect place to host a meaningful celebration, Brodard Chateau is it. We are so grateful and will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!

The crispy Vietnamese eggrolls were also a first and it was great! The meaty and crispiness of the eggrolls eaten like a lettuce wrap with the nuoc Cham sauce was delicious. This place always seems to be busy and rushed and can get a bit loud but the service is always great. They have a bar where you can grab some drinks while you wait. Their lychee martini is good. There is also a dessert display in the front where you check in which we haven't tried yet.

Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours.
