We were staying at a rental nearby for vacation and were initially wary about dining out for obvious reasons. However, Duffy's is a shining example of keeping their patrons safe. They have outdoor seating in their side yard, and they've also removed all the small tables in the middle of their bar, leaving only the booths. We sat at the big corner booth adorned with vintage golf gear. For appetizers, we shared the tuna sashimi, which was perfectly seared. We got a piece of the soda bread for my nephew, which was a little pricey but worth it. I think it had orange zest in it. For my main, I had the flounder stuffed with shrimp, scallops, and lump crab meat. Oh boy, was it heavy (especially with the Imperial sauce). The flounder was good, and it wasn't really "stuffed" as much as butterflied and had the rest of the seafood added in. I'm usually a big scallop guy, but these didn't really do the trick. Still good though. Our waitress was Chrissy, and she was amazing. Very patient with us and all our questions, and made sure we had our glasses full. The beer list here was fine, but their whiskey list is where it's at. I had a nice Jameson IPA.

When we first walked in at prime dinner hour we were seated immediately. We ordered the raisin soda bread, amazing, crab dip, terrible made with horseradish cream and sour cream, real soupy, and in a small cup, terrible for $10, and mushroom caps stuffed with crab, what crab? I got the salmon caesar salad, salmon was in the shape of a punched out brick and was hard as a rock, and burnt on one side, terrible. My husband got the flounder stuffed with scallops, scallops were raw and bottom of flounder was raw. We actually asked about the flounder dish and the waitress stated that they steam everything...and we didn't get an option for another dish or a comp. My father-in-law got the chicken salad and instead of a nice grilled chicken breast it was like shredded chopped cold chicken on a bed of lettuce. Absolutely terrible! read more

Ordered nachos, they took over 20 mins. I asked the bartender to check on them, she said that she had nothing to do with that, it was the kitchen managers job. When they finally came out they where burnt. When she asked how the nachos where we told her they where burnt, she took them & thru them out. No apology and didn't ask if we wanted anything else. Never experienced anything like that before. Save your money or go somewhere else read more

Megan is the worst bartender in town. Started off ignoring us at the bar, had rude comments to the patrons and smiled because she was quite pleased with herself. She also informed us that "I'm not going to get in trouble",with a smile. She has no sense of customer service. Will never return! read more

ok, lets get the negative out of the way. our waitress acted like a frazzled mess, all frantic and overwhelmed. she basically three our check at us when we were done. not sure why because she didnt have that many tables. all we ordered was coconut shrimp, and i have to say, it was the best ive ever had in my life. they were like mini lobsters they were so huge. absolutely delicious, and definitely worth a stop in. sooooo good. read more

For many years our family has been going to duffys. We enjoyed the good atmosphere, drinks, and apps. The last time we went we said we would never go back due to the terrible food, however we decided to give it one more try after the bridge over 54 was closed and tequilla mockingbird had an hour and 15 min wait. Our visit this time was truely the worst dining experience ive ever had. First the waitress was very sweet and did her best to make up for a manager who was taking shots, a filthy restaurant, and a completely unorganized kitchen. The evening went sour when a picture between two tables fell and hit us while turning a light fixture on its side. The manager who had been taking shots at the bar rudely came over and chewed us out after fixing the light fixture but then deciding to leave it how it was to alert the employees to the incident. After an hour and 15 minutes of waiting for our food with a 25% full restaurant we decided to leave our waitress $50 for drinks and apps and walk out. If you want to have drinks at a bar i guess this place will do but if you choose to eat her for dinner youve made a mistake. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. We went there for lunch, their was hardly anyone there and now I know why. Our waitress was rude from the beginning. We ordered and were the only ones eating in the whole place. As we were waiting for our food we could see into the kitchen from where we were sitting. The cook was texting on his phone the whole time and then handling our food. We got our food and it was mediocre. We asked the waitress for our checks and she was extremely rude because she had to split up the checks. Which took her a total of 10 seconds. 2 of us have her exact change, leaving the tip on the table. She came back after she took the checks and made an extremely rude comment because she thought she wasn't getting a tip. We then left and she yelled out another super rude comment as we were leaving. Trying to shame us because she thought she wasn't getting a tip. Needless to say we will never return to this place. Save your money and find a different place with better service and happier people. read more
