Excellent shop to repair bikes, good pricing! I found this place from Yelp. They are located in a small plaza a few blocks off Kraemer exit and the 91 fwy. The shop doesn't have an exterior sign, so when you see a large white building with the number 1401, turn in and it's unit D. The owner was extremely helpful and quick with changing the tubing on my tire. He also showed me how to better use and transport the bike; his tips were super helpful. I came here about 2 weeks ago looking for my first fixie. I found this shop and got to test a couple different sizes as well as getting to customize my wheel color and handlebars! All for a low great price! I can't remember the exact price but I was at under 250 for a complete bike with free lights, gold wheels, matte black frame. I even got help stuffing my bike into my mustang trunk! Dukes bikes goes out of his way to give you great service and makes sure you get the bike that fits you! The owner gave me a great run down on the way the bike sizes worked, and let me test out a nice road bike and a couple fixies. Just drove down on Sunday and place is closed! Yelp is such a valuable and reliable source for consumers. Business owners who don't take it seriously to provide accurate information like posting the hours and days open correctly are doing themselves and their business a disservice. Duke's is a really busy shop. Called them after hours on a Saturday evening expecting to hear their business hours on VM and the owner actually picked up! Said he was closed on Sundays, but told me to bring my bike in on Monday between 11 and 5. I did so and he was busy juggling three people but took the time to listen to my concerns and answer a couple questions before he did the tuneup. Showed up on Saturday at 1 PM To pick up my bike and he was juggling no less than five customers. Only waited five or 10 minutes and I walked around his show room while waiting. He got my bike, rolled it out front and told me to test it out before taking my payment. Great service with no issues! Can't ask for more! Good to note that he is a no-nonsense guy and will answer your questions, but if you are expecting to have a long conversation with him, it's probably not going to happen. Friendly service, but a total rip off as far as fixing your bike is concerned. Took a bike in that needed some TLC and was charged 30 bucks for some WD40 sprayed on my chains. The frame, sprockets, and chain were all still grimy and filthy. What a rip off. I would recommend you go elsewhere if you are looking for maintenance to be done. I also suspect they tweaked my rim while putting on new tires as I didn't have a problem previously. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

You deal with Duke. He's got quality, well built super fast, super light, super durable bikes for the best price anywhere. Seriously. I checked online. I mean anywhere. Plus he throws in a warranty, plus he throws in a free tune-up. Plus I road out with a super sexy, super light 700c. I made the mistake of first buying a bike from walmart before duke's... I even bought their warranty... I even showed walmart the warrantee I payed for on the receipt. The basically gave me a number to call, so that I'd have to ship the bike halfway across the country so that could send me a new POS. I left that broken down poorly made hunk of trash at the service counter and walked out and told them to throw it away. The frame was bent, both wheels were flat, the brakes didnt work. DONT BUY BIKES AT WALMART. I went to dukes. 10 minutes later I road out with a bike that bumped my e-bike setup from 15mph to 25+. It's the only place to go.
