The Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy location seems to be as busy as ever, but you'd never know by the customer experience. Efficient and speedy with fantastic service from the joyful friendly employees who meet you at your car for orders as you make your way through the line, to the joyful friendly employees at the window with your drink. My husband got his grasshopper coffee which was very good. I asked if they could make a green tea smoothie for me (which was not on their menu). I usually bought it at The Human Bean. He said they could make it for me. Guess what I got? Green tea with crushed ice that was all stucked together like a big piece of ice. It was practically an ice green tea. Zero star for that. I went to the coffee shop in Beaverton Hillsdale Oregon, and ordered a small Americano, and when I got it, it tasted like spoiled milk, I went back two other times to give them another change and still the same smell and taste, and I cannot have dairy at all. I went back and they refused to give me another americano which was shocking. I called the headquarters and complained, and they were supposed to send a gift card for one coffee, and a month later still nothing, I called over and over and every single person I talked to was extremely rude and not helpful WHATSOEVER!! My complaint was escalated to whomever it gets escalated too and no one has EVER contacted me. besides the gross americano, its the unpleasant, horrible, AWFUL, absent customer service that gave me the push to write this review, and I NEVER write reviews. This is the ABSOLUTLY WORST corporate company, If there was an option to give negative 20 stars I would give more than that, and I have worked in service industry/customer service for over 20 years, the ugliest company, I only went to dutch bros because I was given a gift card, but I tossed that in trash where the company belongs. read more

Dutch Bros is not really my favorite coffee place, even ordered half sweet it is usually too sweet for me. But it was in our path today so we went for it. I will say this, though, they are fast, friendly, reasonably priced, they have a punch card, and they offer tons of choices. This morning I got a half sweet iced mocha ( if you know me at all that is my #1 go to). They told me they make them with " espresso chocolate milk" and would do half that and half regular milk. So my drink was less chocolately, which is my preference, but less coffee-y, which is definitely NOT good. My teen got a huge raspberry lemonade iced green tea and loves it. The kid loves sweet and had a recent A1C which was perfect so I am not as worried. I'm just glad it was not a rebel, which is Dutch Bros version of a monster. We will do it again since the tea was a hit and if need be I will work on adjusting my coffee order a bit. read more

I went to Dutch Bros coffee for the first time and I'm gonna say it's probably the best customer service I've ever experienced at a coffee shop. We drove up and stared at the menu a good bit before approaching the ordering counter. Just before reaching the window, a girl popped out with a POS and proceeded to greet us and explain all of the options they had after learning that it was our first time. She was friendly, upbeat, and patiently answered our questions, making recommendations and sharing her favorites. It was a short 5 minute encounter with 2 different ladies and they were both excellent and polite. The drink sizes are 16, 24, and 32 oz. very generous with lots of ice (yay) but enough coffee to not taste watered down. For our mocha, we did half chocolate milk and half 2 percent (following aforementioned girl's friendly suggestion) and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely would return and recommend to others! I hope my experience is similar at the other locations. read more

At first I found the menu a little confusing but it was a nice surprise when one of the employees appeared with a tablet at my car She was very helpful in helping me order exactly what I wanted. 45th person to review Dutch Bros, Portland. My 363rd review. I visited this location as I headed out to town to head home. The staff was friendly and it was just like every other perfect Dutch Bros location. I get an Americano (black coffee) add cream and sweet-n-low and it's only $2.50 and about 50 calories. I can get my kiddo a not-so-hot chocolate and my dog a treat (FREE, YAY!), too! I like the Bros mainly because of its people. Seriously, I don't know how they hire so many amazing people! Save some of us that need good employees!! Be sure to get a muffin top-- No, silly, not by drinking the coffee, but just the top of a muffin... yummy GOODNESS! There are lots of different drinks with their many sugar-free syrups making the guild a little less than going full-on calorie. My friend and I wanted to grab some coffee before our hike. She suggested Dutch Bros since it's close to where she lives. A few things: 1. Get ready for some EXCELLENT customer service. As soon as we pulled our car up, we were greeted by one of friendliest barista I've ever met. I told her that I was new to Portland and to the coffee chain, she was quick to provide plenty of helpful suggestions as well as lots of time to decide. I ended up getting my drink on the house as a 'Welcome to Portland' gesture. I wasn't expecting this at all but appreciated their kind gestures. 2. Some seriously strong coffee options! I did a double take when I saw some of the items on the menu....such as the 911 (Irish Cream and 6 shots)...yes, 6 shots is an option and they'll add more shots if you want more. Yep, this is not a place for coffee newbies! If you're hoping to sleep at night, there are a lot of other drink options. My friend and I ordered the kicker (the original blend of Irish cream) and the cocomo (their version of a coconut mocha). Verdict: Helloooooooo energy for our hike! My friend and I left with some very caffeinated drinks that were quickly consumed. Although the drinks were sweeter than I usually prefer, I like how they are more than happy to customize it based on your tastes. So don't be afraid to tell them what you like/don't like! Overall, I recommend going to Dutch Brothers if you're near one. It's quick, the customer service is beyond friendly and memorable, and the drinks will provide endless energy to check off that to-do list! The last four or five times I have been to the Dutch Bros on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway, they have gotten my order wrong. It has been wrong, despite me telling the person taking my order *multiple times*that I am repeating myself and clarifying so that it is correct. They take the order in line and type it into an ipad to transmit it. This is also where you pay and where they hit you up for a suggested tip. When I pick up my drinks, they are the wrong size, and in the wrong type of cup etc etc. Sometimes they have forgotten to put sweetener or syrup. The drinks are not cheap. I used to absolutely love this place. They used to make good drinks and make the drinks the way they were ordered. I have always left very nice tips. I am extremely dissapointed and will not be back. read more

Great coffee and service. It can be a bit loud, probably not the best idea to have a blaring speaker aimed at you in the walk up window. Also, it's a little annoying answering questions that should be obvious. i.e. Stop asking me if I want my Americano hot. ;-) All in all this is a great place though. read more

Being someone in the hospitality industry I appreciate quality customer service, and this particular location has it. They are alway smiling, genuinely look like the enjoy where they work, and just really good at what they do. I remember driving by the location as it was being built and I just couldn't wait for it to open. I could have been setting myself for disappointment but I was floored by how awesome the people here are. Very friendly and very on the ball. They're great with my dog even when he's pestering them for more and more treats. You can't really go wrong with any Dutch Bros establishment, I'm just ecstatic they opened up so close to me. Great sweet drinks, but their cold brew tastes like it's made from used/discarded espresso or something. Very strange flavor. It's a shame because it's so convenient and they have great service. Also, they put ice in nitro cold brew and insist on adding cream/flavoring to it. A little odd! Coffee purists should avoid the cold brew. read more
