As a coffee lover (and barista) I sure do love trying out different coffee places. I came here because it's walking distance from the hotel I was staying at. First impression was the drive thru line which has double speakers, people outside taking orders, and still a very long line, which is usually a really good sign, in my opinion. I honestly didn't wait more than 5 minutes in line. I tried the Kicker and the Golden Eagle. I must admit, this is the best coffee I've had, thus far! Not only was it mixed perfectly but the huge portions were way worth the amount paid. I think I came here 3 or 4 times during my stay and every time it was incredible. I was attended by someone different every time and they were all very wonderful. We also got hooked on their funfetti cookies which always tasted delicious. I'm sad that I'll be ending my vacation soon and will surely miss this place. Hopefully they come to Southern California soon! read more

Super impressed with this location, most of the time I'll have to wait in line but when I get to the window my drink will be ready( paying with the app helps). Ok I was stoked when there was a Dutch Bros next to my hotel. I know how popular they are but cannt say I have had the pleasure to frequent many since there aren't any near near me. I am a Starbucks gal through and through and love my drinks sweet. So I tried the white mocha and it was good, not as sweet as I would have liked but good. The next day I tried the Carmelizer, the barista told me it was sweeter than a white mocha so I was down. Unfortunately it wasn't sweet at all. I couldn't drink much of it before I decided to toss it. So bummed. My son ordered a ninja freeze and he loved it. It was a mint chocolate shake. Also they have a rewards program but I didn't sign up until after the second visit. Anyways I am going to try another my last day here hoping it is satisfying. Just tried this place for the first time today.  I was a bit put off by the line, but a friend told me that I can just walk up to the counter.  When I drove by this morning, I noticed that there wasn't anyone at the counter.  So I pulled in, parked my car, and the gal at the counter was very friendly despite our age difference!  Also, from order, to getting my iced latte, it took at most 2 minutes.  Glad I found the secret to this place in going to the counter when the car line is backed up!  Also, the iced latte was perfect.  Smooth with just the right kick of caffeine. read more

Ok I went here with my wife this morning to get a gift card for my Sister-in-law. Evidently according to my wife she is a Dutch Bros Addict. If you need help, please get help. So while we were there, we had to try some. We are definitely fans of the other guys. Their drive-thru was amazing and the people were super friendly. I'm not sure how it would work with them coming out to your car to take your order during the summer. This was a really nice touch. Now to the coffee, the Iced Dirty Chai that I ordered was huge! I was excited that they asked me if I wanted Cinnamon or Nutmeg or both in it. I always get Chai Tea with Cinnamon because it is more authentic to have it that way. My wife had a Caramelizer which she loved. I'm an "Old Dog" so it would be hard for me to switch but I get why they have such a great reputation and from what we witnessed, it is well deserved! read more

I appreciate the great personalities of the folks at Dutch bros, but the line is long and we have takeout dinner waiting. Waited in drive thru for 20 mins for 3 drinks. There were at least 7 people inside, dancing, and singing. 2 customers at the walk up window. So I'm not sure why it took so long. And I ordered a decaf chai tea latte. I was asked when I got to the window, "how many shots I wanted in my drink". I said 2. Thinking it was chai. My drink tastes like an espresso drink. It was awful. It wanted decaf for health reasons. So disappointed! I knew they screwed up my drink and I mentioned it at the window and the girl said "oh it's fine it because it's blended that it looks different." I've been going to dutch for years and each time I visit this location one of my drinks gets screwed up. Great friendly service. The person taking my order and the person that served me were very friendly, helpful and nice. The peach smoothie I order was good, not great but good. I strongly disagree with some of the people on duty were NOT wearing a facial protective mask. Considering how many people go through your drive thru, and one of the guys was not wearing a mask - this Coronavirus is a serious pandemic. Just thinking about your employees being exposed to SO MANY PEOPLE, maybe contracting the virus - it CAN be spread so easily and the carrier may not even be aware. What happens if your employee spreads the virus to a customer that has an elderly person at home or a person with underlying conditions. It's how my Uncle (quarantined) contracted the virus (and lost the battle), from his daughter (quarantined) who got it from her husband. The husband was the one doing all the shopping and he was being careful. He did not know he had it. Bottom line, I believe ALL people coming in contact with the public should be wearing a protective mask. Especially since there has been a surge in Coronavirus cases in Arizona. The whole staff is awful. They took their time with every single task. They dragged their feet, talking to each other with full blown conversations, not caring about the customers standing there. When I ordered my drink, the person that was taking my order flipped the iPad around and said, do you want to add tip. It made me feel awkward and normally I fill out the iPad myself, without assistance. I said the tip amount and he looked upset. I waited for Hot chi latte for about 15 minutes, I walked up to the window and asked what was the status of my drink was and she goes. Did you have the chai latte? I said yes and she said it will be ready in one second. and started making the drink. Once I receive my drink, other people started to walk up to the window and asked for their drinks as well. I walked away, take a sip of my chai latte, and it was cold. Every time I go here no matter of the location I reminded of why this brand is not some thing I should make part of my routine. So glad that Chandler finally got its own Dutch Brothers. This one is in a newer nice building and has a very friendly crew. As this just opened, there are exceedingly long lines at the drive-thru. The good thing about this location is that they also have a walk-up counter so you can avoid the line. Unlike the location in Ahwatukee, this does not have an inside seating area, just to seating area outside which would probably be nice in the winter. My first experience here was that the lines were long and not moving as quickly as they should be. Other Dutch Brothers locations, you get long lines but they move quickly. This chain has it figured out always friendly staff, amazing array of drinks, stamp cards (buy 10 get 1 free), ever changing featured menu items, and even free dog treats for pups. I like they have a two lane drive through so the line doesn't get backed up into the street. Super super super slow staff... waited in drive thru line for 40 min. Restaurants cook a whole meal faster then it takes these guys to make a drink. AND once u are in line, u can't get out of line (drive thru) so I was trapped, and I missed my long awaited doctors appointment. And now I can't been seen for another month. I am not into the drinks at Dutch Brothers, but I like the vibe at all the locations. The employees are always friendly, positive, and real. Other place we have visited the employees seem a little "coerced" into saying "my pleasure", but here there is no scripting. The employees are just nice, kind, helpful, and best of all, genuine. Lines are always LONG, but they keep it going like a finely tuned machine. I am amazed at the traffic that goes thru and they do a great job. The number of drinks that they can make is astounding. Like I said I don't care much for the drinks, because I don't drink caffeine or sugar and I don't like coffee. So I am limited to not much. Brad on-the-other-hand, is different. Loves caffeine and sugar. He has NEVER ordered the same drink twice and he likes them all! The one thing he orders again and again are their snicker doodle cookies. I mean this can be a good thing but as an introvert myself I try to be as antisocial as possible. I brought my dogs and I think that was the longest conversation I have ever had.
