I am stunned at the service we received today. Like good stunned - which is fairly rare when you have a bunch of high schoolers working at a job they can give zero cares about. We ordered through the drive thru and despite the long line, it went by fairly quickly! The person taking our order helped us pick something that we would love, since it was our first time there and the person at the second window made us try our drinks before we drove off in case we hated them. While visiting Arizona, we noticed the long lines and decided to try it. The day we decided to go, the line was shorter and moved very fast. We ordered the hot Breve (regular latte) and a Cold Brew. I think it's pretty good. The coffee taste good. The cold brew is also very good. Why is sometimes hard to find. And every place taste different. If you find one that makes it the way you like it, stick to that place. What I didn't realize is that there are so many different flavors for Breve! Dutch Bros I love you! You never let me down. I was in the area today while my husband was having surgery and realized this location was only 2 miles away. I needed a pick me up after what's already been s long day. This location is pretty cozy with about five to six outdoor benches and tables. Very fast and friendly drive thru. Within seconds of pulling up my order had already been taken and even some nice small talk. When I got to the window my drinks were already ready, got my card stamped and I was on my way in a matter of minutes. Love it! Keep it up! read more

When I checked in at this location I said, "It's my first time". Let me correct that. That was my first time actually going to a Dutch Bros location and ordering. My "real" first time having Dutch Bros a co-worker picked up Dutch Bros for the office. I don't remember what I ordered but I remember the coffee drinks was so sweet I couldn't drink it. That was 3 years ago. Over the weekend was my first time visiting and ordering on my own. I ordered the new or featured Sugar Cookie Frozen Coffee (similar to a Frap). I asked the person taking my order if it's a really sweet drink. He was honest! Yes ... really sweet however, we can make it less sweet. We can make it with half the amount of sugar and sweetener than we'd normally make it. I went with that. I'm sooooo glad I did. The drink was perfect. It had just the right amount of sugar and whipped cream. It was definitely a nice treat on a Saturday afternoon. In addition to me enjoying my Sugar Cookie drink so much, the guy behind the counter was kind enough to give me a stamp card with about 8 stamps on it. That means just 2 more visits and I'll get a freebie. Well ... who doesn't like Freebies. I'm a fan! read more

Ok, so most, if not all Dutch Bros typically have great service with friendly employees. Today we stopped by this Dutch Bros for the 1st time and I was blown away by the staff. High five to all of you. I'm sorry I didn't get names, but Dude who took our order at the walk up window, and dealt with our 100 different stamp cards with only a couple stamps on each, you rock!! Sweet, sweet girl who helped me decide on the "Sour Patch" Rebel CHEERS!! I wanted something tart, I'm not a huge fan of sweet drinks. You nailed it with suggesting the Sour Patch. If I could give this location zero stars I would!!! I love Dutch and literally visit the Scottsdale location at least 2 to 3 times a day!!!! (yes I work a lot about 16 hours every day seven days a week.) So the reason why I don't like this location is the customer service sucks and the workers are very rude especially the manager Maddie... This isnt the first time I've experienced this ‍ it has happened before, I went to get coffee I was in the shortest line I ordered and then I got cut by two other cars!!!!!! First one girl when the cars were taking orders because the girl in my line taking orders took longer than the other girl taking orders in the line next to me... Then after I order as I'm waiting 3 cars in the line next to me merge before I can get in. So when I got to the window I'm guessing I'll get some extra points or a free coffee or something... No nothing..... then I showed her my app scan it and you can see that I visit Dutch Bros 2 to 3 times a day every day... And still nothing... Not saying you have to give away free things or extras. It's the fact that you don't even recognize loyal customers that spend money with your business multiple times a day and want to keep them happy after an inconvenience... Is what makes this location suck...... maybe I'm just used to the level of expertise and customer service had by your Scottsdale and East Location employees... But I think customer service, customer retention and appreciation should be some thing that these employees are trained on!!!!!? Oh and if your going to have all these lines and chaos the have the worker stay in the parking lot to direct the cars. Used to be a DB regular until we moved, now we don't get to make it as often. The last few times have been mediocre so we have been going less and less. We decided to give it a try and it was very disappointing. We are used to the long waits because it's so good but kinda upset I waited in line for an hour. I got the anniliator and if you gave me a cup of half and half, they would taste the same to me. It was disgusting, no flavor, no coffee taste, just half and half.... I purchased a large and had 3 sips and tossed it. We also went there with a punch card with 9 punches on it. I asked the gal since we are purchasing one can we get the other one free since it would be after the tenth purchase and she said no! I hope Dutch opens more locations soon or does something so that customers don't have to wait 1 hour for $7 half and half. read more

The coffee is good, I'll give them that but the wait time is not! The car line stretched for what seemed like miles... and miles... and miles. So, I decided to park and order from the walk up window. That was my first mistake as the girl a couple people up was wearing shorts so short that her cheeks were showing and I couldn't look away as much as I wanted to. Like any bad accident. I'll go on as short shorts are not my problem with Dutch Bros. I understand great customer service and Dutch employees were quite cheerful and nice but they do not service customers expediently. The lady in front of short shorts girl was discussing the yearly holiday menu and comparing and contrasting this years featured drink to last years with the budding barista. They were chatting about cookie sprinkles as the walk up line began to grow. Then, the lady was asking about the difference between all the drink choices. Her turn literally took about 15 minutes and they waxed poetic. My problem is that the barista did not have her step to the side to review the menu to determine what she wanted instead of wasting everyone's time. It took me 30 minutes to get my drink and I was the 3rd person in line. I recommend Dutch bros study the efficiencies of Starbucks and improve their speed of service. I've been going to Durch Bros in Arizona since they opened their first stand in Tempe. The quality of the product has always been top notch (the base americanos themselves are amazing, even without the sugar, which can't be said about Starbucks). The quality, taste, and location is what earns it any stars. What's been disappointing is how the service has drastically declined over the past few years. Lines are ridiculously long and don't get processed fast enough. Now, while I'd never ding a business for being too busy/popular, Dutch Bros operates as they did years ago when demand wasn't as high. It's hard to be waiting in a line for 20 minutes when you see employees goofing off, spending too much time chatting with customers, and standing around doing nothing. It's clear that they train employees to be overly friendly, but it's borderline obnoxious. It's better to remain quiet then to try to make awkward conversation with someone just for the sake of being friendly and hip. If you're going to force someone to have conversation with me, at least make it someone who can hold a conversation on their own, otherwise it becomes very uncomfortable. Instead of just hiring people that are friendly and fit the "culture" they should start looking at people that can help make the process more efficient. Process-wise, there is a lot of room for improvement, but the needle barely moves. There could be a walk-up line of 10 people. Instead of taking orders down the line and collecting payment, the person working at the window will take a single order, then chat with the customer until their drink is ready, doing nothing else. Imagine how long it would take at any other restaurant if you didn't even get to order until the person in front you of you got their food. read more

Their drive-thru is soooo slooooow, but if you walk right up, you'll get your coffee a lot faster! The quality of this establishment is above what you'll find out of most others. They actually know how to pull some espresso to keep it smooth, and the cocomo (coconut mocha) is a good go-to summer beverage. Only $4 is a steal for the size and quality you're receiving. Today me and my sister went to Dutch Bro's, and by the time we got home, I thought there was a hair on the outside of my cup. When I swipe my finger to get rid of the hair, I realized that the hair was actually on the inside and was intertwined around my drinking straw. I was infuriated and immediately drove back to this location. When we walked up to the window, I asked the man for him to remake my sisters unsanitary drink. Not only did he have an unwilling attitude to remaking my sisters drink, but he also refused to remake mine, which could have been equally contaminated. He admitted that the hair was his and said," I made both of your drinks, so the hair was probably mine, do you want me to remake this new one because the chances of having a hair in it will be the same for every drink I make." My sister and I both stared at him with shock. In a disgusting tone, he said "Would you like me to get somebody else to make this drink."
