I like Dutch Brothers. They're A-OK in my book. They remind me of the small Mom and Pop kiosk operations that you find in the Seattle area. I've come here a few times now, whenever we're in the area. The employees are supper friendly and clearly enjoy their job of proselytizing the Starbucks faithful. Their only drawback on this road to world domination is that they only sell prepared espresso drinks. Yep, no drip coffee! Also, only a limited selection of breakfast items. No rolls, donuts, or muffins. Well, they do sell something call muffin tops made by a firm called Seattle Foods. Hmmm. Both, the drinks and muffin tops are very good. I have visited this Dutch Bros. Spot twice now, and for both times they offered magnificent service and muy delicious drinks!! I don't know but the people working here seem to be high on life/energy/happiness or something good, which is contagious when they greet you and ask you ever so kindly what you'd like to order. Also don't let the drive-through fool you, you may also have the option of parking and enjoying your drink right there and then. I hope to visit them more often now that I found a drink there I truly enjoy, the caramelizer!! I was visiting a friend in Scottsdale and she said this was a must do. We used the drivethru and I noticed the college-aged guy leaning out of the window chatting the car in front of us up. We later find out he chats everyone (including us) up. Their coffee menu is limited but luxurious. No fancy roasts here, just fancy drinks. I ordered a Dutch Freeze, "a frosty, creamy, espresso blend made from scratch." The guy working the window asked me if I was sure I wanted the original amount of espresso and not a reduced amount. I drink a lot of coffee/espresso so I was taken aback. Yes, I wanted the original amount. The drink was amazing. It tasted like Jamoica Almond Fudge ice cream from Baskin Robbins. We left, and on the way out I saw 4 local PD squad cars hanging out in the parking lot. You know the popo knows good coffee. 2 hours later, massive diarrhea. Went to get a Peppermint Hot Chocolate tonight and took 25-30 minutes to go through the line. Not because they were so busy but because the guy taking orders chatted with the girl driving the truck in front of me for 15 minutes. When all the cars in front of her had driven off he finally came and took my order. Meanwhile several other cars were now behind me waiting also. The girl in the window then proceeds to chat with the girl in the truck for 10-15 minutes as well. Meanwhile my hot chocolate has been sitting next to the open window during the the entire duration of this second chat and it 52° out. So by the time I got it, it was barely warm chocolate and was totally cold within 3 minutes of driving away. It's nice to be friendly with repeat customers but it sucks when its at the expense of other people who now don't get to enjoy their order. I didn't want to sit through a line of now 5 or 6 cars to go back to complain. Please do better. read more

I started frequenting the dutch when they opened. I don't drink caffeine so it is hard to resist some flavors. I am addicted and need my fix several times a week. My favorites are many. Snickers hot or cold yummy. Green apple decaf tea or smoothie are awesome. Db cups are great for the hubby. And I haven't even mentioned the customer service. Very friendly and as I like to mix my drinks up a but confusing for the baristas. Love the staff. Always energetic, welcomes you with a friendly smile, ask about your day and what you have going on. Line does get long but don't get turned off because they work quick to get you through it. I'm an avid Iced Black tea or Iced Dirty Chai with Coconut milk but I've switched it up to the Iced Rebel. Love Dutch Bros coffee. They actually know how to make some drinks that stump Starbucks people. I wish they had some indoor seating (or at least power outlets) though, and wifi. I'd hang out here more. Most of my time spent waiting is because the baristas are chatty with everyone. I don't mind it so much but when you're in a hurry, it can be annoying. Also, I posted a picture of one of the employees having a meeting with another. I don't know who they are, other than workers, since they at least have the tshirt. Dude's showing crack. Of all the tables and seats he could have picked, he picked the one that shows me his back. Gross and unprofessional. I get you're trying to be hip and cool but have some class too. A belt and better fitting shirt isn't gonna kill your cool look. Also, be aware of your surroundings and sit so you don't present your crack to customers, much less female ones. We went through the drive-through on a Tuesday morning around 9:30. The ordering experience was quick and the staff members we encountered were super friendly and pleasant. I got the caramelizer, which was super delicious. My guy got a plain coffee and said it was very good. Of the three different coffee places we tried while we were in town, this was our favorite. Wow! Such awesome customer service! We are from California and it was our first time going to Dutch Bros. as we heard great things. We arrived with one car in the drive thru in front of us (got lucky) so there was really no wait. A very nice girl came up with an iPad to take our orders and we explained it was our first time and from Cali so we had a few questions. She was awesome, answered all questions and gave us some good recommendations. When we pulled up to the window to pay, we were greeted with warm hellos and smiles. We had the best experience, the oat milk kickers were amazing, the customer service was fantastic, and Latve(spelling?) is the most positive, outgoing, and engaging barista/waiter/order taker I have ever met. We both started out with pretty bad days, and Latve turned our days right around. The coffee and customer service was so outstanding that we went back the next day on our way back to California.
