    Rebel thanks to JD!

Shoutout to JD! He had amazing customer service! It was my first time. I'd seen TikToks about Dutch Bros customer service like Chic Fil A lol it's true but in a really good way!

I paid for my drink, waited 20 minutes and they claimed to have no record. Wouldn't give me a refund, said I had to email to request. And of course they didn't provide that email address. I understand you're busy, but customer service still needs to exist. I went to another location, explain to them what happened. They not only gave me the email address to contact, but made my drink and gave me my stupid sticker. Now that location 100 out of 10 customer service. This location probably should never reopened.

White Chocolate Chai Latte & Hazelnut Truffle Mocha ⋅ Phoenix, Arizona

This is just Starbucks, but with better PR. Overly friendly baristas serving up extra sugary, caffeinated drinks. Nothing like a nice cup of coffee for dessert! /s As a grown adult who still frequently orders 6AM milkshakes (AKA Frappuccinos ®) and sweet beverages in general, I wanted to try Dutch Bros to see what the hype was about. I don't live near any of their cafes, so when I was visiting Arizona I made sure to stop by one. There's like 4 locations along Bell Road alone. This one is between a Circle K gas station and an AMF bowling alley. Decent amount of parking spaces if you're planning to order at the walk up window. Plenty of benches and tables outside. The drive thru line was long but moved at a steady pace. Took about 20 minutes. You can order energy drinks, tea, cold brew, smoothies, and baked goods (limited selection). Or choose one of their classic/seasonal coffee options. Hazelnut Truffle Mocha didn't taste like coffee. The flavor was mostly milky and caramel-y, with hints of toastiness here and there, Not much chocolate or espresso coming through. Sweetness level was manageable. White Chocolate Chai Latte was definitely liquified sugar, the cinnamon overpowered everything. Been hearing good things about their Golden Eagle drink, so I'm open to trying it again.

WeBe Coffee Roasters is one of those finds that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Even more so, I wish I lived closer. The space alone is worth the trip. The team put real thought into every aspect of the experience. The counter has a beautiful waved ribbed wood design, the colors are immersive without being overwhelming, and the whole interior has a visual balance that most designers would be proud of. There are flowers around the cafe that give it a gentle, unexpected touch. I genuinely regretted not bringing a better camera. But the coffee is the real story. They source specialty beans from different parts of the world and roast in-house on a Primo roaster, which is a hand-built machine that serious roasters invest in. I had a double espresso, something I cannot live without, and it held up to the room. The seating is comfortable and well thought out. There is room for conversation and room to get work done. I ended up staying longer than I planned, which is always the sign of a good spot. They also have a merch area with coffee gear worth browsing, and bags of their roasted coffee available to take home. On the back wall there is a mural that reads, "Making good coffee, good fun." That line does a better job describing this place than anything I could write. This one feels like it belongs in Scottsdale. North Phoenix is lucky to have it.

My vanilla latte was fresh, smooth, and really well made. You can tell they take their coffee seriously without taking themselves too seriously. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which only added to the experience. My only complaint is the hours. They're open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, except on Sunday 8-2.which can make it a little difficult to visit. I'd love to see open earlier  so more people could enjoy the space and great coffee. We did get the right before 7 and the line behind us was about 10 people. So it's definitely a hit with their customers. That said, this feels like one of those neighborhood spots you'll find yourself coming back to again and again. Looking forward to my next visit!
