Great bread makes great sandwiches. The turkey club is loaded with bacon, their dressing is also a big plus.

My family has been going here for over 30 years. And to this day I swear by there sandwiches. I refuse to eat subway simply because this place is 1000x better. Always get the turkey club with provalone cheese and banana peppers. it is our family favorite! However my dad always gets the pastrami. I was craving a good meatball sub. Based on Yelp comments I tried DW. We got our food to go so I can comment only on the sandwich. The sandwich was great! Soft, fresh bread, tasty meatballs and sauce, and it was hot. This was awesome. It is so nice when the product exceeds expectations. I walked in a was treated with a welcoming attitude from the two wonderful ladies who were working today (i.e. 12/10/18). They were every talkative and very caring about me never being there. I asked if they could do a cubano sandwich, something not on the menu, and they were every happy to make it and were very nice about it. I loved coming to DW's and will bring my roommates, because of the kind and very nice welcoming nature. I made a phone order. When I got in to pay I realized the order was made incorrectly due to my error. They not only let me get the order I originally wanted. But also, they let me take the order that was made incorrectly. Most establishments will take back and discard the food. This is why I am always coming back for more. I was working out of a friend's office down the street and stopped in to grab a sandwich. Friendly staff, asked for a recommendation and the girl making the sandwiches rattled off a couple of choices. The employees are nice but the lady who prepares the food touches everything without washing her hands and doesn't wear gloves. This hidden little restaurant, and the lady who runs it, have been here for as long as I can remember. I always see people coming and going, and I'm sure they get a lot of traffic from the high school nearby. The people who work here are always nice, and the food is excellent in quality, freshness and taste. If you're looking for an alternative to Subway or Quiznos, you have to try this place, because for a quick sub it doesn't get any better! Couldn't imagine this place getting one star! Yes there is the owner making sandwiches as fast as she can and uses a microwave, but don't we all? Shakes are the bomb! Always worth the wait by the way. We've never been disappointed even when we have to wait in line for a bit. I don't think they could do anything that would make me NOT go there. This place really disappoints me sometimes. Their sandwiches taste really good, but their service and common sense is disappointing. Their not really friendly, over the phone, or in person, you feel like someone is annoyed having to take their order. Then I had this experience today where they decided to close 1 hour early on a holiday weekend. They made sure to clarify their holiday schedule as 11 - 4 on Saturday on the machine they turned on AFTER THEY CLOSED, that helps, thanks. I called in to pick up a sub at 4:05, knowing they close at 5 on Saturdays, and no one answers... their closed one hour early, I missed out by 10 minutes. How could I not have known they would close one hour early on a holiday weekend, when the holiday is two days away? They do this stuff a lot, they are closed before they are supposed to be closed, it just a pain in the behind. You get so excited for their subs and pick out your order to call it in, and you spent too much time picking it out to get it all... why would you close 1 hour early for a holiday that is two days away, I don't understand... read more
