This is one of the most well-organized and clean liquor stores I've visited in the 818 with a fun selection of alcohol brands curated by the clerks. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. They even offer reasonably priced shots so if you're looking for a quick drink, this is the place to go. Went on a nice long stroll yesterday and found myself at Eagle Liquor Beer & Wine. This Sherman Oaks Spirits and More shop has a clean layout and a huge inventory including water, juices, sports drinks, candy, snacks, pantry items, party supplies, grilling essentials, speciality items, personal care and more. The guy on duty was really easy going and friendly. I took my time in here taking it in. I've passed by on foot, in car and even on the metro here more times than I can count and this was my first time finally supporting this small big local liquor shop. They have fair prices, tons of variety in craft brew, including some cbd based beverages. The imported and domestic beers are abundant and if I'm not mistaken they might carry kegs here or at least mini ones with a huge fridge which was being upkept while I was shopping and stocked. I know a lot of locals stroll in rather than parking as the lot itself is rarely full with a share plaza situation next to the Manny's Barber Shop, Sherman Oaks Coin Laundry, LA Video Games (Sherman Oaks) and Pico Pica Rica to name a few neighboring businesses at the corner of Magnolia Blvd/Kester Avenue. You'll definitely find a spot if you pull in. The spirits and beer are absolutely the bread and butter of this location. Their wine selection is more than decent, just not as abundant as their other adult beverages. Its insane that we have to now be cautious of employees in a liquor store, and not the people hanging around outside of them! This morning I pulled into a parking spot right in front of the store and was checking my phone before entering. The white dude who works behind counter came out to my car and got loud with me and said, "are you coming in or not? Don't block this f*cking parking spot if you're not coming in." He definitely has a severe anger management issue and redirects it to people who park in that parking spot and don't get out of their car fast enough. I think he was either drunk or high on something to be brazen enough to what he did next. He came to my window enraged and I had to roll it up because he was seriously going crazy and legit seemed like he was going to punch me through my window. And then when he walks away, I lower my window back down and he says "oh now you roll your window down pussy." This guy is unhinged, and he's definitely a liability to this company. Over the course of the less than two minutes i was parked there, he came to my window three times, and definitely wanted to throw down...over a parking spot! Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Dope ass little liquor store that stands out among the over saturation of smoke shops and liquor store. Eagle liquor stands out and has some of the best options on snacks and drinks. They have free ice cups too that will pair with your drink choice. Priced might be a bit high with inflation going on. If only they could keep everything at 19.99 they be selling thru these things but also just know time that it takes to package up theses thing. Complains that I'm taking too long and that I'm supposed to get in and get out. This dude hates seeing people and is miserable on his job. Avoid that place or that guy if needs be. read more

Wow! I walked in yesterday afternoon (12-24) to buy lottery tickets and the guy behind the counter was rude and agitated beyond belief!! He was dropping "f" bombs in front of the customers and complaining how the lottery machine was going to "f'in" break. I should have walked out at that point, but I handed him my tickets, which he forcefully grabbed out of my hands, and when he mumbled the total (which I couldn't understand), he shouted back at me the correct amount! Wow, is all I have to say!! I miss Gus (the previous owner), who used to greet you by name and with a big smile. So much for supporting our mom and pop shops.
