I ordered the red curry (with tofu) and Thai tea and tried the dumplings, crab Rangoon and gyoza in the sample platter. The red curry was good but not particularly amazing (maybe it would have been better with chicken) as were the items in the sample platter. The Thai tea was on point though and the decor was pleasant as was the service. I also noticed that there was not too long of a wait between placing our orders and receiving our food, which I always appreciate. Overall, I would definitely come back but I am rating my experience a 4 since it didn't blow my mind. read more

Always loved Eastern Peak for their food and service. Ordered yesterday for carry out and will not be ordering again. The restaurant charges a 10% up charge on carry out due to Covid. Yet, you are encouraged to order online. Did not get to speak with an employee. What is the point of adding the extra fee if you don't have the chance of talking to a person and asking questions? I called to let them know that an item was missing and they asked if I could come back to pick it up...No! I asked if there was any way for them to deliver it and was told that they have delivery but it's through a third party and they don't have a way of delivering. I've dined here many times and this is the worst experience I've had. Take care of your customers even if it means going out of your way. Got food delivered from The Eastern Peak by Uber Eats, so I cant comment on the service. Tried the crab rangoons first and they were pretty solid. No complaints there. We ordered 2 entrees, which were orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The first problem was that they provided no soy sauce. Who doesn't send soy sauce with an order of fried rice? The fried rice was incredibly bland. We tried the orange chicken and had to spit it out. I'm not sure what kind of meat it was, but I have never had anything with such a disgusting texture. The orange chicken was also extremely bland. I would have called and asked for a refund but they were closed by the time our delivery driver arrived. read more

Crab Rangoon's: They were made in house and pretty good. Chicken Pad Thai: Not impressed, would not order again. Pei Wei and Smiling Elephant both have much better Pad Thai. I found this too sweet and lacking flavor. Cashew Chicken: I've made better at home in a sauté pan. Service: Stellar service at noon on a Friday. Waitress was great, manager came to check on us. Ice Cold water served in glass refrigerated bottles. It's a very modern eclectic atmosphere and has a nice outside seating area. But the pre-entree salad with the ginger dressing that is ubiquitous at lots of Asian places was one of the best I've had (Hello, leaves of lettuce that aren't iceberg!!), as was the miso soup. We tried the soy sauce noodles and drunken noodles. The latter needed a bit more spice/flavor, but a splash of the soy sauce that was on the table fixed that. Never eating here again. Ordered a sushi roll with tuna and thought it tasted a little funny. I frequently eat sushi so I know what a tuna roll should taste like. Two pieces in and i realized it smelled really off and I dissected the sushi roll to find the culprit ingredient. Sure enough, the tuna was NOT fresh and a color it should not be not to mention it smelled so strange. Later that night, I developed a stomach bug and severe abdominal pain that lasted all day the following day. Wouldn't be surprised if they gave me salmonella. read more

I just finished another wonderful meal at The Eastern Peak! I live in the area and absolutely love the fact that we have a cozy and high quality establishment like this near by. I generally sit at the bar and always receive great service from the get-go. I've come to know the staff pretty well, and I was happy to see Erin and Wilson were working this evening. I've been to other restaurants where sitting at the bar takes longer than the dining room, especially when it's happy hour or there's a full house and only one or two bartenders on shift. Not the case here. Fast and attentive service as always. My order is pretty standard (for me). If it ain't broke, right? Chicken Pad Thai, a tuna role (added avocado - both were really fresh) and a beer. It wasn't extremely busy today, but Wilson took my order and it was ready in minutes.
