Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. I planned on keeping the car in storage for 2 months, and they were flexible with me on arranging when to drop it off. I ended up having to drop the car off 3 weeks earlier than expected and it was not a problem. When I dropped off the car, Alex and Alan were super assertive in explaining how the car would be stored. I also ended up picking up the car earlier than expected and they had my car ready within the hour and I got to keep the car cover and battery tender I bought for next time. I also liked the fact that Stephanie kept my contract open in the event I needed to bring the car back, she was so accommodating. I will ABSOLUTELY be using this service again !!!

I would never hire this company again. I was given a price estimate of $285 to move out of my shared 2 bedroom 1 bath to a studio one mile away. I also requested furniture disassembly and reassembly because I knew larger furniture like my bed frame and kitchen table wouldn't make it out of the front door. I had a previous company move all of these items for a similar price so it seemed fair. Once the guys got there, they had me sign a contract saying that it was going to be $105 an hour. I signed the contract and told the two employees that I could under no circumstances pay over 4 hours because I had only planned on the estimated $285. They assure me that won't be a problem. Then they proceed to take they're time loading all of the things. Using a screw driver rather than power tools to disassemble my furniture and disassembling it way more than it needed to be to be transported. Originally, I do not say anything because I'm a stage manager and carpenter as my day job so I'm used to knowing a lot more about furniture, hardware, and tools than a lot of people and I didn't want to make them feel bad. I'm the one that bought it from ikea and assembled it all in the first place, with a drill! Well, fast forward to 4 hours later they've just started to move things into my new home. I pulled one of them aside and told them I can not pay for more than 4 hours and I ask him if he understands. He says yes but they continue to take their time bringing things in an reassembling it. I ask them if I can help unload to speed up the process and they say no. As one of the guys struggles to put together my bed, I tell them that he did not have to break down my bed as much as he did because now it will be very difficult and time consuming to reassemble. He ignores me, and I ask why they didn't bring a drill. He then tells me he knows what he's doing, and that he's moved a bed like this before. I told him so have I! The one he's working on right now, and I did it much quicker with a drill. At that point he stops talking to me. I tell him to leave the bed and that I will reassemble it because now we're almost at 5 hours and I want them to get out and I realize he doesn't know what he's doing and I have a better chance of assembling it correctly. They ignore me, and then at 6 hours later they try to charge me $630 for 6 hours when my original estimate was $285. Ridiculous. I tell them I cannot pay that. I said at most I told you I could pay was 4 hours worth or else I won't be able to pay rent. The workers then complain saying but they worked 6 hours. I reminded them I told them to stop several times and they refuse. They tell me about how if they give me a discount they're not going to get paid and one of them has an expired free card and the other a pregnant wife at home. At this point I want too talk to Oscar who gave me the quote of $285. They call their boss but it's not Oscar. I ask where Oscar is but the guys says he doesn't know. I'm pretty sure Oscar doesn't exist, or he is Oscar. He says he'll give me a discount to $525 if I write them a good yelp review. What a great discount that is!?!? 100% times the original estimate please. I ask him if he gives me a discount if he'll still pay his employees. He just laughs and says he'll talk to the boys. So, this scumbag isn't going to pay his employees and theirs really no recourse for the employees as they're on expired green cards. They asked me to pay with Venmo or cash because I'm assuming they do a lot of under the table shady business. Now a week later my bed frame has completely fallen apart and the metal support has been bent and I have to reorder parts from ikea to be able to sleep on it. STAY AWAY! read more

Unfortunately, did not have the best experience. I used this moving company a while ago, but because I just recently had to toss my extremely expensive TV because as soon as I moved I went on a month long vacation and when I came back - I found out my TV screen had gotten damaged during the move but I knew calling a month later wasn't going to get me anymore so I just accepted the loss, but it still stings when I just had to recycle the TV that I paid over $1500 for. On top of that, I did a long distance move and the movers had said that it took 3 hours to drive the distance on a day with no traffic (which should take 1 1/2 hours, I'd say 2 hours max if you're driving the truck down) since I just did another long distance move recently and the movers tried to charge me more. I am giving two stars and credit to the owner because as soon as I called him to complain and explain to him that 3 hours there and 3 hours back with no traffic is almost impossible he refunded me right away so that is greatly appreciated. However, I still can't get over the fact that I lost my TV because they didn't handle it properly and ended up costing me 5x more due to losing such an expensive TV. read more

I used Easy Moving to move my furniture to storage on 5/18/2019. Alex and Stan arrived on time. They hustled, at the same time they were very careful with my belongings. They disassembled my king size bed, mirror off the dresser, and even took the TV off the wall. They taped and labeled all screws and made sure I knew where the screws for each piece of furniture located. They wrapped all my wood furniture in plastic. All glass and mirrors were wrapped in some of my old blankets and taped securely. I purchased couch and mattress wrap, which they taped on securely. They even moved items from one room to another within my house. I like the fact that it was a straight price! I was charged straight up for 5 1/2 hours of work. I wasn't charged extra for tape, plastic wrapping or mileage. This experience was truly, "EASY MOVING"! In fact I was able to have a seat and Alex and Stan did all the work, while I was worry free! Once the addition to home is complete, I plan to use them again to move my belongings back into my home. Thank you Easy Moving for making this a pleasant worry free experience. These guys were amazing! Not only was Oscar super quick about getting back to me but he was able to help me provide all the info they needed for my love. Stuff I wouldn't think about. He was really clear about the process and really friendly. The day of the move, Selso, Marat, and Ildar, showed up early, and were non-stop. These guys worked their butts off!! I had to move into a small apartment that had stairs and really sharp turns. And almost all of my stuff went upstairs. These guys were pros. They got everything done and were really friendly. They even checked to make sure it was all where I wanted. And they even were amazing enough to move some of my old stuff out of the place. They really went above and beyond. And their prices were super reasonable. I was so nervous about my move and super self-conscience about all my stuff but these guys didn't judge at all. They really made me feel comfortable with it all. These guys were awesome and not only would I recommend them but if I ever have to move again, I'm using them again. Their name says it all EASY Moving! Oscar and his team are FABULOUS!! They packed my belongings and treated my items like if it was theirs. They used all the special packing supplies to support my TV's, tables, beds, large mirrors and my china set. NOTHING was damaged nor broken nothing. When scheduling the moving date Oscar keeps you updated on the time of their arrival. When it came time to delivery and unload my furniture and boxes, it was the same thing. They put my beds together, I even went to work and they knew exactly what to do and where everything would be placed. They are exceptional. We've used Easy Moving 3x and on all occasions everything was done with a FIVE STAR quality service. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them. Their business ethics is superb. I feel like if they are family. Nothing about our move was simple or going the way we had expected. Carpet wasn't installed on time etc etc. I had planned to have more packed in advance to help the moving process but that didn't work out either. I figured its a 1 bdrm apt "how much can we really have?" Well it was enough to fill the entire 20ft truck. Oscar and Bah showed up and from the start saw how unprepared we really were but never hesitated they just began working. All our possessions were handled with care even when we ran out of boxes and were reduced to using bags. The 3 hours we planned for the move became 8 and they just kept at it. Without their help I don't know how we would've pulled it off. They are 100% up front about the price and when it was time to settle up Never once even mentioned asking for more. I would like to thank Easy Moving for doing a great job on 9/23/18. I had scheduled them about 1 week in advance to move furniture, including 2 sofas, a kitchen table, some chairs and dressers/nightstands along with several personal items and boxes. Archie, Ray and Dimitry were my movers and they were very professional, on time (actually early), and they got the job done efficiently and within a reasonable time. They made what could have been an all day move to just half a day, and they also double wrapped, and kept all of the furniture in good shape! Archie had a very up-beat and great professional, positive attitude. Ray and Dimitry were careful with the personal items and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend these movers. My wife and I decided to get married and buy a house at the same time while both of us worked full time: bad idea. We chose Easy Moving to move us into the house three days before the wedding: great idea! They loaded two separate 1 bedroom apartments (one in Leimert Park and one in Inglewood) and unloaded in Gardena in just over 4 hours with two guys. While we were at work, our parents were at our respective places to let them in and show them what to do. Both sets of parents praised them for their work effort and for being courteous. Having had previous unfavorable moving experiences, I was frequently checking in and making sure things were going well and they were communicating effectively the entire time. Oscar was awesome. Coordinated a move of my son's apartment in West Hollywood to self stage. He left overnight in mid March when COVID hit. He came home (thankfully Hawai'i) but had to move his apartment as his lease was up on 9/15. Oscar worked with me and his team did an awesome job. Showed up on time, coordinated with one of my son's friends, worked efficiently and actually the final bill came in close or even LESS than I would have thought. Very fair and I just paid by Venmo on the spot once everything was in storage and locked up. I love it when remote plans just come off perfectly. It helps when your movers are competent. Really great experience with these guys! This is by far our best experience with a moving company. Seriously, we have moved several times in the past decade, but none of those experiences were as enjoyable. It all started with a good customer service from Eddy. The 3 movers showed up on time. We moved from 3 different locations into a bigger house. I appreciate how Nick and Cesar gave us heads up 15 before arrival and let us know where they were. All of our furniture was well taken care of. They even helped us load our SUVs with smaller items and packages. These guys know what they're doing, courteous and professional! They were great over all. Very efficient and good movers. I understand some of the movers can't speak english. But this job doesn't involve talking all the time. But when they work well, they know what to do. Thank you Stan and Ali they did a good job. Protected my expensive furniture, which i mentioned, with blankets and wrapped with plastic. David, Alex and Saken from Easy Moving crew was the most efficient, hardworking and courteous movers that i've experienced in last 5 years. They let me know in the morning what time they would arrive to my first address. My building in Marina Del Rey required special type of insurance and they kindly provided it. They even assembled my dresser and mounted my TV on the wall at my new home (fee was smaller than others' for this kind of service). Total job time was even less then i was estimated the day prior to move-out (i took photos and text/emailed them). The price was fair for such a great service. We hired Easy Moving for our 2bd/2bth apartment move from Culver City to Miracle Mile. Great experience. We negotiated the rate via yelp messaging with Oscar. Our movers Stan, Sayat, and Dimash, did a great job. The best part was when they maneuvered our refrigerator through an impossible crevice in the new apartment. Good guys, super friendly, and not sketchy at all - which is important to note in the world of movers. They wore our little shoe slippers on our new carpet and everything. Amazing movers! They were very delicate with the furniture and made sure to wrap our couch, table, etc. in cellophane to protect it during the drive. They were also very friendly and made sure to double check what was going in the truck and what wasn't. The truck was huge and fit everything in one trip, which was great! Most moving companies charge insane amounts then take their sweet time so you're left waiting around all day. Oscar made booking this move absolutely seemless. He also kept me updated as to the drivers names and ETAs that morning, making moving day so easy and clear! We had so much stuff and a ton of furniture, only half of it in actual boxes, and they did an amazing job of filling the truck efficiently and quickly. We were really stressed out about this move because there were some difficult situations to move some large furniture (super tight corners and hallways, a long driveway) but they handled it all amazingly well and with no issues.
