    Porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna
    Margaret P.

I'd like to say 3.5 stars, but rounding up to four. I remember eating here when I was living out in LBC way back in the day. It's been sometime -- my husband and I calculated and it's been almost 12 years to be exact which is crazy! I remember being amazed by this restaurant when I came here a long time ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great prices, loved the industrial feel, and the food was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we had to visit the area, I knew I had to make a pitstop here. This place has definitely changed. There used to be a cheese wheel setup in the back that was pretty much welcoming you when you arrived. It's all been blocked off now in the window. We ordered the tagliatelle ragu and porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna along with the rock pizza (name could be wrong). The tagliatelle ragu fell flat. It was so dry and the portion was pretty small. The rock pizza was good but it wasn't anything to write home about. I will say the porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna was absolutely amazing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place did look a little run down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Perhaps they're focusing more on their catering versus dine-in experience.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a celebration and had a pleasant experience. The menu offered a wide variety of options, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. The service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in throughout our meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Pesto Gnocchi. I really enjoyed the pesto sauce and thought they used just the right amount, giving the dish plenty of flavor. The portion size felt a little small for the price, and the gnocchi was firmer than I personally prefer. I tend to like gnocchi with a softer, more pillowy texture, so it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Overall, it was a nice experience with great service and plenty of menu options. While I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to visit again, it's certainly not a bad place and is worth trying if you're in the area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Warehouse vibes in an industrial neighborhood. The surrounding area isn't the best, city has been cleaning some of it up. I hope that continues.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is not the fanciest, but the food transports you to Italy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices are affordable and reflect the discount for the location? Our go to order is the Fritto Misto and the Marlon Brando pizza. We alternate in the pastas, Emilia salad and the home made desserts. 12/10 Fritto Misto- Calamari & fried shrimp (huge portion) 8/10 Emilia salad -grilled vegggies 10/10 Rock pizza 12/10 Marlon Brando pizza (half rock, half ham calzone) 10/10 Mimmo pizza 10/10 calzone Farcito 0/10 calzone Roger (porcini mushrooms are super slimy, only thing we have ever sent back) 9/10 lasagna Al ragu 9/10 tagliatelle with meat sauce 9/10 tagliatelle with mushrooms 10/10 spaghetti carbonara 8/10 penne speck & Trevigiano (I like it, it has a unique bitterness and savory flavor, but not everyone does) 5/10 Pollo Rosamarino salad (very plain) 12/10 House cake 8/10 cannellino 10/10 Tiramisu 6/10 gelato( looks good and is popular, but their baked goods are superior)

The food at Eatalian is okay good, but the space hasn't aged as gracefully as one might hope. Ten years ago, the space was minimalistically modern! And unlike anything else! Now it feels a little lacking and dated. The menu is quite expansive - a little something for everyone which is perfect for a big group. Plus the prices are very reasonable. My friend and I shared the following: -banana peppers ($10.95): stuffed with bread crumbs, sausage and parmesan on a bed of arrabbiata sauce -gitana pizza($16.50): tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh mushrooms, parmigiano reggiano, speck + cherry tomatoes tomatoes -penne speck e trevigiano ($17.50): penne in a treviso cream sauce Ngl, the banana pepper situation was a little weird. The banana pepper was abnormally very large and everything it was stuffed with - sausage + breadcrumbs - tasted very bland. The arrabbiata sauce couldn't make up for the lack of flavor. Interesting try, though not for me. Honestly, the real MVP to both the pizza and pasta was the speck. It's salty, and crispy, and was the standout in both dishes. The pizza didn't do much for me - the crust was flimsy and was giving cracker. I liked the toppings, but again, the crust was not crusting. I thought the pasta fared much better, however, the treviso sauce was sparse. There was just enough to coat the noodles, but nothing beyond that. Fine for the first helping, but not so much for the second. Eatalian is the perfect place to eat with coworkers you don't know too well and want to just skeedaddle after the meal.

    Prosciutto and Burrata

Always a great experience here. We had the chicken pizza and the burrata with prosciutto. The chicken was seasoned chicken breast and went well with the crust, minimal sauce and cheeses. The prosciutto was soft sliced that melt in your mouth - and plenty of it! I needed special beverage - a cross between an iced americano and an iced espresso and the waiter accommodated. The glass could have been bigger but it tasted great and was the strength I asked for.

I've been to Eatalian in Gardena a couple of times now, and I figured it was finally time to give them a full review. This spot is tucked away in more of a warehouse area, not surrounded by a lot of other restaurants, so I think it's kind of a hidden gem for people who work nearby. It does get packed during peak hours, but when I went, I didn't have to wait, which was great. They start you off with some bread and a little olive oil and vinaigrette for dipping, and I have to say that was my favorite part! For my main, I had the tagliatelle with the porcini mushroom sauce. It was decent, nice texture on the noodles, definitely not bland, but I kind of wished it was a bit creamier. That's just my personal taste, though. My cousin got the linguine con pesto with chicken and absolutely loved it, she's already planning to come back for it. Another highlight was the lasagna with black truffle and porcini mushrooms, which my cousin really enjoyed. I'm a big truffle fan, so I'm definitely going to try that next time to see if that truffle flavor really shines through. My mom had the penne con gamberi with shrimp, and she really liked it as well. And we all shared an appetizer of Fritto Misto which is calamari and shrimp, served with marinara. Even though I usually like a more vinegary or creamy dip, the marinara was actually perfect and really tasty. I also had a cappuccino that came with cute latte art, and they even gave my cousin a complimentary cannoli for her birthday, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, it's a really charming and authentic spot, and I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu items.

    Tagliatelle, Speciale Pizza

Eatalian is such a gem! Pizza and pasta were all so delicious. I especially loved the Tagliatelle with porcini mushroom sauce. The staff are incredibly kind. They even streamed the FIFA match with sound for us to enjoy watching while we ate. Our new favorite go-to spot now!

I came here for a meeting with my boss and it's my new favorite Italian spot. The service is spectacular, everyone made us feel like family. And the food....this was the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever had...if you like bacon and you're looking to carb load I highly recommend. They also gave us complimentary cookies to go with our espresso since it was my first time trying. :') Definitely want to bring my boyfriend here! The inside has an industrial, open and inviting feel inside. Great spot to bring your family and friends! Definitely try this place out you will not be disappointed.

This place is very well hidden. It's really only by word of mouth that you know about this place. I have been living in the south bay for over 5 years and never once did i hear about this place until an out-of-town friend told me about it. The service was great. We came into this place at the right time as we didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the Tagliatelle pasta and my fiancé ordered the Mimmo pizza. Both were great, but there isnt much, if any, sauce on the Tagliatelle. I had it with meat ragu and I think it'll be better woth the porcini mushroom sauce. food together 8/10

I went there with coworkers for lunch. We arrived around 11:10 am just after the restaurant opened. There were only one or two people seated inside at the time. The building is spacious with high ceilings and a nicely designed setup. They have an open kitchen concept which allows you to see the chefs preparing your food. Upon check-in we were seated immediately, and our server brought the menus and asked for our drink selections. I will be honest , the menu is extensive offering a wide variety of Italian dishes, including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, calzones, salads, rice, and risotto options. Since it was my first visit and I wasn't familiar with the potion sizes, it took me some time to decide I ordered the Tagliata de Pollo Con Verdure, which comes with either spaghetti pomodoro or a choice of two sides. I chose grilled and steamed vegetables. The chicken was cooked perfection and full of flavor and the grilled and steamed vegetables were a great addition that complemented the dish well. The calzone was also impressively large. The servers were very attentive, checking in to make sure the food was good and that we had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed their entrées, and by the time we finished our meal, the entire seating area was full I would come back again to try different menu options.

My cousin enjoys this place, so she suggested we have dinner here when I was visiting a year ago. We shared a pizza, the Crudo E Burrata, and I ordered the Penne con Gamberi. Everything was yummy. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and Crudo E Burrata. My Penne con Gamberi was delicious. My cousin tried it, and really liked it. She had her husband pick her up an order for her not long after; she even talks about it to this day about how good that pasta is.

This place was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a cool restaurant setting within an industrial type area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was nice and spacious on the inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our servers were very friendly. I tried one of the signature meat pizzas, and it was fantastic. However, my spaghetti pasta dish felt like a lunch portion as opposed to the dinner portion that I thought it would be. It tasted grades but thankfully, I had a pizza on the table as well as some bread.

    Is Eatalian opened for Christmas?

This year, Christmas eve they are open, Christmas day they are closed.

On the website there are no alcoholic drinks listed (beer, wine, etc). Do they no longer sell them or is it a rotating menu so they do not update it on the website?

Yes they do sell alcohol only beer and wine

There is no more Putanese pizza???? Didn't see it on menu...anchovies, capers and black olives... can it be made special!!! Grazie mille.

    Do your take reservations?

    No. First come first serve

Does the restaurant have a corkage fee?

    Do they have vegan options?

Don't think so. Most dishes include some form of meat or dairy.

I saw this asked, but wanted to followup specifically what are the best gluten free dishes offered here/the diff options? What type of gluten free pasta and pizza crust is served?

Not aware of any gluten free options, I would suggest calling the resto

Do you use REAL TOMATO SAUCE or Marinara sauce on your dishes?

They use real tomato sauce that is made in-house.

    Do they have canoli cakes?

    Not that I know of

Hi! Do they serve party platters? Thanks!

You would have to call, I am not sure about catering and the likes.

Can they accomodate large group of 30 for dinner?

Yes, if you give them some notice they will be able to accomodate a large group. I would ask to talk to the GM Patrick: he is really nice and always goes the extra mile

    Is wine available on Sunday's?

    No wine on Sunday's.

Do they offer any vegan entrees beside salad?

Hi Amanda. Unfortunately I do not know as I am not vegan, so I would advise you call to find out. I am sorry I could not assist further.

Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.

She immediately brought over two bottles of water and asked if it was our first visit. We said yes. She went over the menu in some detail. She did not ask if we wanted a drink, nor did she mention that the bottled water she had already placed on our table would be added to the bill. We ordered the lamb tikka pizza and the bhindi masala. The food was decent, but not remarkable. Portions felt a bit light for the price. The pizza crust was more like a crunchy pita, and the toppings were sparse. The okra was decent. Overall, I'd give the food 3 stars. The reason for my 1-star review is the way the restaurant handles water. We were automatically given bottled water before we had even looked at the menu, and at no point were we told there would be a charge. When the bill arrived, we discovered we'd been charged $1.50 for each 12-ounce plastic bottle. We had three, for a total of $4.50. This isn't about the money. It's about transparency. In most restaurants, water is provided as a courtesy, so presenting bottled water immediately to first-time customers without mentioning a charge feels misleading. If bottled water is the only water option available, that should be clearly communicated upfront. To make matters worse, there's a prominent sign stating that outside beverages are not allowed, which presumably includes bringing your own water bottle. After paying our bill and leaving a 20% tip, we suggested that first-time customers be informed about the water charge when they're seated. The response was a shrug and, "It's in the menu." Maybe it is. But if you're going to place bottled water on the table before customers have even opened the menu, the courteous thing to do is mention that it isn't complimentary. A simple heads-up would have avoided the entire issue.

Finally tried the Burratino's trendy black onion pizza!…read more One issue we found is that we didn't really know where to park. Update: The black onion really didn't suit my tastes. But I did enjoy the italian sausage and basil. Still so glad I got to try it. I heard many people say that the black onion was sweet, but personally, It didn't taste sweet to me. The sauce was quite overbearing. The comments were right about one thing: it was very tangy. However, the good news is that my family loved it. If the family loves it, then it really has the potential. We loved the ambiance! The restaurant is very clean, seriously spotless. Based on our experiance, we also found the restaurant is empty. The plants outdoors really set the vibe. I love how it feels like you are in a garden. The inside feels like a typical pizza place. Very calming, and cool temperatures. Their pizza is fresh and everything is done well. The service is outstanding. For anyone who is new to the place, the waiters will bring you the pizza after ordering. They came as soon as possible and everything was delivered well. While I wasn't a fan of the black onion marinara, I do believe that we will come back in the future and try a few different pizzas. I am still willing to think that maybe I didn't order the right thing and that there is more flavors to try. Thank you Burratino's Brick Oven Pizza for the good experiance. I am willing to try the restaurant again.

This had been on my list for awhile, and I finally made it down here to try out the "black garlic"…read moresauce on a pizza. I placed my order online for a medium 12 inch cheese pizza with the black garlic sauce, well done, and drove down to pick it up. $18.00. How was it? Meh! 12 Inch Cheese Pizza with Black Garlic Sauce- For as much as this pizza is hyped, it totally fell short. The dough was bad. It wasn't a thin NY style, and it wasn't a thicker hand tossed style. It was somewhere in the middle, and just didn't work. It was extremely chewy and not in a good way. It reminded me of how my homemade pizzas turned out when I first started out and used some dead yeast. It was like the dough didn't rise properly, no crunch on the bottom, and hard to get through. The black garlic sauce wasn't even that good, either. It was pasty and didn't even have a "garlic" punch to it. I powered through the whole pizza as to not waste food, but it was one of the worst pizzas I can remember ordering from a non chain establishment. Not sure how this place gets 4 and 5 star reviews. 99% sure I would never come back. Too many other Mom and Pop places that serve way better pizza.
