Super long wait but servers were nice and attentive. Salmon was fresh and we enjoyed the vibe and the food a lot! The restaurant is a bit small tho so that explains the wait Any sushi with salmon is good but I think they're a little bit more on the higher price compares to other sushi spot I've been to

I really enjoyed every aspect of our meal! Be ready for a bit of a wait but it's worth it and they actually turn covers fairly quickly. Our food started coming out very quickly! The sushi is so fresh and the price is reasonable. I love the 4 piece option for $8.00 instead of 6 for $18.00 like most places. We could order more variety in rolls this way with 2 people. The New Style Sashimi options are incredible. The ExGirlfriend was a great No Rice roll. The menu is structured very well to give you no rice or fried roll options. The Spicy tuna is the best I've had! The hand roll was really nice with the toasted sesame! The toasted flavor really enhanced the roll. Service was INCREDIBLE! Attentive and friendly! The ambiance is lively and fun! Highly recommend this spot!!!!

So good!! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The salmon was buttery and practically melted in my mouth, and the sweet shrimp, Japanese snapper, and bay scallops were all amazing. The quality was honestly so much better than I expected for takeout sushi. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted so fresh. I'll definitely be coming back!

I went here over the weekend with my boyfriend, and the food was so good and very affordable for how much was ordered. The gyoza was super crunchy. I honestly forgot which rolls we ordered, but everything was fresh with no complaints. Our waitress/server was great. She checked in multiple times throughout the dinner. The restaurant itself was nice as well. Very clean and good environment to be in and have a date night.

This is a cute sushi spot. The wait wasn't too bad, once we were sat we had a best service. We ordered California, spicy California and baked salmon rolls and they were all really tasty. There are plenty of options to choose from and the portions are good. I will definitely go back.

Been here several times with my wife most recently. If you swing by during off peak hours (after 1pm weekdays) there's basically no wait. Each time we've visited there seems to be new staff whom are always very attentive and supportive! The food comes out incredibly fast and the relaxing/calm vibes easily help retain new customers. The no rice sushi rolls are great, along with takoyaki loaded with squid, and the yellowtail sashimi is a must try. Hard to go wrong with any of the dishes!

Takeout Order Review - I was PMS craving sushi and decided to order from Eat's! Ordering online is super easy and convenient. When I picked up my food, I was greeted and welcomed in. They were so nice and communicative about the order status. I had a few minutes until my order was ready, so I took a looksie around. The inside and outside are both clean and decorated beautifully. They have cute cherry blossom trees and a nice welcoming vibe inside. Everyone working was so nice and helpful! The sushi itself was so yummy! I ordered 3 rolls that came out to about $24. It was a great price and the sushi itself was tasty. The to-go bags, utensils, and supplies were good quality and durable. EATS has it all, great food, great atmosphere, great service. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing fresh sushi! You order by paper and the service was fast. The restaurant had a cool moody vibe. We ordered an iced green tea and scallop, eel and blue fin tuna nigiri. Next time we'll try the shrimp and salmon.

Outside they had a cute little sign in area. With some kind of cucumber water with benches. So once you sign in and they open they can seat you right away. ( we came in the evening) so they don't open till five. Super clean everyone super sweet lots to choose from I got the crunchy salmon roll and salmon skin roll no eel sauce. I can see why they are busy. My dad dubs it the best sushi ever. They can accommodate. If you are on a diet they have rolls for that. Great portions great prices. Aislyn our server was amazing! So were the people who cleaned up.

I've had Eats Sushi on DoorDash before and loved it, so I was excited to finally go in person. Dine-in didn't hit quite the same for me, though I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since we ended up at an 8:45PM reservation after missing our first one. Later in the night may not be the best time to judge the food. First things first: make a reservation through Yelp. If you show up on a weekend without one you're looking at at least an hour wait. The place is packed for a reason. The service was genuinely impressive. I have never had sushi come out that fast in my life. Edamame was on the table within 4 minutes of ordering and 3 rolls followed just 2 minutes after that. They clearly have the staffing to keep things moving even on their busiest nights. The surprise star of the meal for me was the beef teriyaki. I wasn't expecting much from it but the flavor was really great. The baked scallop roll was a little disappointing though, the scallops just didn't taste as good as I was hoping. And a small but appreciated detail: the chopsticks are actually good quality. No wrestling apart a wooden pair and ending up with splinters everywhere. We were seated near a tree in the back which gave us a nice bit of privacy, which made it feel great for a date night. It's also a popular spot for OCC students so the vibe is casual and lively. I'd come back and try it earlier in the evening to give it one more shot.

This place is one of my favorite sushi spots in OC! Their fatty tuna is a MUST order. I arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday for a table of 2 and we were seated around 6pm. Not bad of a wait at all for Friday evening if you ask me. We ordered a few appetizers, rolls, and sushi. All was so good that I had to come back that Sunday!

    Savanna H.

Service was good and the staff was friendly. The food took a little while to come out, probably because they were pretty busy, but it was worth the wait! The uni was absolutely amazing--so fresh and delicious.

I don't think I've ever been to a sushi restaurant with this high quality and reasonable prices!!! Everything was delicious! We stopped by on the drive from San Diego to the Bay Area and could not be any happier to come across this place. Service is top tier, the owner was even helping out running food and checking in on tables. As established as they are, I always appreciate that. Beautiful restaurant with moderate volume music playing, definitely a more elevated casual spot. Great for any occasion, friends, family, and date. They have a yelp waitlist and have water outside for guests too. Whatever the wait is, worth it! Salmon blue crab 4/5 Bluefin tuna new style sashimi 5/5 Ankimo new style sashimi 5/5 (not always something I order so I was surprised in a very good way!!) Chicken teriyaki bento and miso soup 4/5 Yellowtail 4.5/5 Fatty tuna 5/5 such a great value! Tiger topping roll 4/5 Vegas big roll 4.5/5 Thank you to our server Sammi and all the staff for giving us a 11/10 experience :-)

From the valet to the nice waiting area and the seafood displayed over ice when you walk in, everything had a very upscale feel. Once seated, the bread and butter started us off right. We ordered a few cocktails and every one was really good. For food, we went IN on the seafood. We got the chilled shellfish platter, calamari, seafood pasta, sea bass, and a seafood soup that was probably one of my favorites. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared really well. The chilled platter especially was such a nice presentation with the oysters, shrimp, lobster, mussels and scallops. The seafood pasta was also so good. Rich without overpowering the seafood, and the shrimp were huge. Definitely on the pricier side, but this is one of those places where the food, atmosphere, and overall experience matched the occasion. Perfect way to celebrate surviving tax season. 9.5/10

He was really friendly and very helpful throughout our meal. I ordered the Wild Pacific Halibut, it was decent. We order brussels sprouts for the table to share. The brussels sprouts were ok, not my favorite. We also ordered one Kumamoto oyster for each person at the table. The oysters were really smooth and creamy, I would definitely recommend. For my drink I order The Pessimist. It is a NA take on an old fashioned. For the price I wouldn't recommend The Pessimist, because it tastes a little watered down. We were celebrating my birthday so the restaurant brought out a complimentary pazookie which is really nice. Everything on the menu is à la carte. I found the prices to be a little high for the portions that were served. The ambience is nice. They have a raw bar if you want to pull up for oysters. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend the Water Grill if you ate ok with spending a little more on a meal and are craving seafood.

Definitely a great setting for a weekend brunch. Our server was prompt, friendly, and accommodating throughout the meal. I went with the Knife & Fork Burrito and really enjoyed it. They nailed the potato to egg ratio, which I feel like breakfast burritos get wrong way too often. The salsa, guacamole, and sour cream on top all worked really well together and gave it a nice balance of flavors. It was also the perfect portion. I left satisfied without feeling like I needed to be rolled out of the restaurant. My wife got the crab eggs Benedict and really enjoyed hers as well. Overall, Shorebird offers just as good of an experience as it looks like it will from the outside. Beautiful restaurant, great views, good service, and a solid brunch. Both preparations were fantastic--exceptionally fresh, clean, and briny, with the dressed version bringing just the right punch of citrus and heat. Hamachi Crudo & Seared Tuna Tataki: Both raw plates were spot-on. The hamachi was delicate and buttery, while the seared tuna tataki had great texture and bright, clean seasoning that let the fish shine. For myself, I asked for their sirloin pita wrap, since it sounded good on paper. Unfortunately, I never got that because they got my order wrong. Instead of sirloin, they gave me a salmon pita wrap instead. After trying it, I knew my experience was ruined. While I understand it's salmon, it had an extremely fishy taste. Even the tartar sauce provided wasn't enough to cut the flavor. I also tried to use tabasco sauce but that didn't help either. Or maybe they like the cuisine, but for health reasons they've been told to avoid eating it. I know for me I just haven't come around to a lot of Asian cuisines that are focused on high vegetable and low protein content. But to this day Toby and I have never shared a seafood boil together. She has a germaphobe reaction to eating food with her hands and there's no easy way to knife-and-fork stuff like shrimp, crawfish, crab, or lobster. She's offered to get something else like fish n' chips or a plain steak or something, while I get myself a boil. However, one of the joys of boils is digging into a mound of Cajun-flavored seafood together as a group effort. A wondrous temple to the art like Roux Seafood Kitchen would be wasted on her. I couldn't get enough of their shrimp and crawfish. They were both plump, flavorful, and disassembled easy in my hands. At a lb. each, I was more than stuffed at meal's end. I think the only thing that could've made it better is if I had ordered a lobster tail in there. That would've been my ideal order. The service was great here for my party. The drinks were refilled quickly, the food was brought out in an efficient manner, and even the order taking was controlled in what kind of have been haphazard conditions. I liked the ambiance too. The dining room was a spacious and accommodating. The music was low. And the crowds were busy but not super full, which is where I like it. Nobody was on top of each other at neighboring tables and the noise level wasn't drowning. All in all, I think this is the perfect example of a seafood boil joint. The only thing that could've made it better is if my oldest eating buddy (and ex) could've miraculously gotten over her condition and joined me. That's the dream.

We just ordered two staples: Jambalaya & Shrimp Etoufee. Entrees came out in about 20 minutes hot, fresh & amply sized. They're reasonably priced, too! I'm glad we didn't order any apps b/c the entrees were more than enough food. Thought about getting the beignets, but I could not find any more room to fit them in! I had a glass of KJ Chardonnay to accompany the meal and it was pleasant. Service was very friendly and helpful from both servers working today. 5% discount if you use cash! Plenty of parking in the lot. Peace.

The following day, my partner and I were going to be near Irvine and South Coast Plaza looking for somewhere to eat, so I thought, why not try Seasons 52 again? My partner had never been there before, so it was perfect. I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and it was really good. My partner ordered the steak and lobster, and he really enjoyed it too. Our drinks were phenomenal and so yummy that we ended up ordering a couple of rounds. It is such a cool place. Everyone was kind, the service was great, and we had a wonderful experience. Definitely highly recommended!
