Basically I had no idea where the heck I was as Im from the I.E. and totally lost, no idea how to get my car or myself home, this car is not something you just leave i. A strange place either. So anyway, AAA sends this kid in a flatbed tow truck, my car is way to low to be just towed. Turns out the guy dates my older sister. Shes a huge cougar and fifty rich from her cheating ex-husband shenanigans so shes made of money, anyway this tow truck kid says hey man, "i know this guy Mike, he's a solid dude and can probably fix this problem. So I agree he takes me there. We get there at like 4:45 pm and the guy is closing up right. I explained to him. How screwed I am and how far I have to go. This friggin guy goes out of his way to help me out. You want to talk about value and customer service the guy was almost about to have his sister take me home but I made my side piece come get me because she was working at the DMV close by so she had to bust my balls but she eventually came and got me. The dude Mike swore my car would be safe. You see not just any old knobhead can operate this particular machine. Its too much for those that "Think" they can drive. Very specialized parts and repairs are not easy. So I get home, the Dude Mike calls me says your totally outta luck budd. Im like major bummer dude. But he says yeah man, I can make this happen for you. But its probably going to take a week and cost you about tree fiddy. Plus parts. Im like bruh ya gotta make it happen as I absolutely have to get to the desert to race this fool with his Honda civic he thinks is so ultimate. My car smokes all. Rolls them up and smokes them. Anyway long story even longer, this dude Mike, calls me up and tells me he found a tear in my half shaft and since my car is sitting there do I want him to deal with it. Gives me a way fair estimate and im like let's party. So my line finally came from Jegs and Mike calls me up and says come and get it. Man I am so grateful to this dude. I made it to the desert and ofcourse that civic was nothing. Not even a challenge. I almost let him catch up. It was pitiful. But yeah this dude Mike is a solid bro. He had some nice cars there. An AMX and a Porsche I wish I could have borrowed. Highly recommended. I may bring my Nissan nobody can look at because nobody knows the technology anymore. Super grateful to Mike and his team of awesome Wrenches. Grease monkeys are a dime a dozen, but a true Mechanic is so rare these days. Some guys have it and some should just sell their tools and take up stripping.... Im telling all my friends to go to Technology Auto. They are honest. Fair and way cool dudes man. He didn't try to dick me around. I think he was even scared to test drive my car. Its a wild one. Not for the faint of heart. Its name is the "Boobie Bouncer Bucket" IE. I want to thank Jay who helped people the day I went. The facility was clean and organized, so I felt very comfortable about coming here. They are next to car wash and a gas station. Also, Stonewood Mall is across the way too. The had coffee and snacks, I loved that they had Kirkland coffee pods, oh heck yea. The waiting area is not huge but enough. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful; I overheard him helping people out. As far as value, I felt I got a good value, as I was shopping around. I was given a time estimate, and a time estimate if I wanted additional service and they were very good about meeting that. I got a free car wash at the was station next door, full service, and they did a great wash. I am already planning my next visit with them. I will update review in the future.

Truly disappointed with this location. Lorenzo, the service advisor tried to charge us $25 for the…read morebrake inspection upon initial arrival. When I pointed out the banner at their shop that says "Free Brake Inspection" and their website which states Free Brake Inspection, he retorted that their website also states they do free smog checks, but he states they do not even do smog. (When relooking at their website, they do not mention free smog anyways.) Lorenzo stated the brake inspections were not free and the website got it wrong. When I asked him for the person in charge he stated Erika and Ezekiel were in the parts dept. It is a shame Lorenzo was the only advisor handling a long line at check in. He stated Corporate was aware of the brake inspection charge discrepancy. If they are aware and he is aware, why try to charge a customer for a "Free" brake inspection? After leaving our car here, we heard the next day of a list of repairs needed. Lorenzo stated they believed our brake caliper was seized but could not confirm it. He attempted to charge us an additional $289.47 for the brake caliper service and $152.10 for the brake fluid service in addition to the brakes and rotor replacement service charge we were expecting. The issue is that when we asked Lorenzo if he could confirm if the brake caliper was truly needed to be replaced, he could just say he highly suggests replacing it. From the beginning, this place was trying to scam. I reached out to Alex's Auto Repair in Cypress, who confirmed they could verify if the brake caliper would be needed. Alex's Auto Repair stated there would be no need to waste extra money if he could confirm the issue. Alex's Auto Repair serviced us, and simply lubricated our caliper without us needing to pay over $800 for the whole brake service like Downey Care Care was quoting us. Alex's Auto Repair took the time to verify the issue, charging us less than half of what Downey Care Care center wanted to charge. My issue with this location is they would have happily overcharged us for a service that was not needed. Take your car to Alex's Auto Repair, save your time and money. While Downey Care Care Center was busy playing around, we had to spend extra time and money booking a rental car. (Photo on the left is from Alex's Auto Repair who took the time to verify the concern and lubricate our caliper. The photo on the right includes one page of many pages of services recommended by Downey Care Center including replacing the brake caliper and fluid exchange had we chosen to go that route.) Makes me question if the remaining suggested repairs (not all pictured below) by Downey Care Care Center were even necessary.

I stopped by in the AM for an oil change. I didn't make an appointment beforehand or anything, but they were happy to accommodate. But as it turns out, it was quite early for an oil change and I didn't need it. They reset my car system sensor so the alert disappeared and sent me on my way, no charge. This was my second time visiting, and I think it'll be my go-to for car maintenance from now on. I'll gladly support this business.

Visited today 3/17/2026, after speaking with Matt the day before. I brought in brand new 21 inch Tesla rear wheels and Michelin PS4 tires for installation on my car. I drove over an hour from Chatsworth, California to this location so that they could use the Hunter Revolution machine, specifically to avoid damaging my wheels. Nevertheless, Matt, if it's his real name, severely damaged my new wheel near the wheel center cap area with the machine that was made to avoid this. How incompetent!!! He lied to my face and gave dull, illogical, dummy excuses about what happened. Bottom line: He damaged the wheel and would not acknowledge and take accountability for his actions. I had to call the police to make a record of this issue because I will be suing. The damage was caused because he did not apply the machine's plastic adapter when he clamped onto the face of the wheel; he clamped to the face of the wheel with metal to metal contact and severely damaged the paint. I also get text messages about getting my next oil change too. They quote you for the service(s) and will require your signature to sign off before commencing. I think the time it takes to get your car serviced here is pretty quick. I drove up and was quickly assisted. They are correct in saying "no appointment necessary" and there is usually one free spot available each time I have come here for my oil change.

I came in for a routine oil change at the Rosemead location. When I arrived, it was very busy and…read morethere were 3 cars being serviced and 3 more waiting ahead of me. Even so, the wait wasn't too bad. Once a spot opened up, I was directed forward. The initial service was smooth. One of the male employees asked what service I needed, scanned my vehicle, checked all of the lights, and inspected the air filter. When it was my turn, another male employee checked the tire pressures. During that process, he removed all of my hubcaps. I was a little concerned about whether he would put it back properly, but I assumed everything would be checked before I leave. A female manager came over to review the information on their system, but I didn't notice a final walk-around inspection of my vehicle. Overall service took about 30 minutes. However, when I got home and checked my wheels, I found that the hubcaps had not been reinstalled correctly, just as I had suspected. Overall, the service was efficient, but I wish more attention had been paid to the small details and the final quality check. Those details make a big difference in the overall customer experience.
