We're talking ube coffee, avocado coffee, banana condensed milk coffee, plus a whole lineup of matcha drinks. Definitely more creative than your typical neighborhood coffee shop! I went with the ube coffee with almond milk. The ube base was a little too sweet for my taste, but once everything was mixed together, the overall sweetness actually balanced out pretty nicely. The espresso also packs a punch -- you get 2 shots with your coffee order, so no complaints there. ‍ The ambience is definitely a highlight. The space is super cute and spacious, and they even have this mini staircase seating area that would be perfect for hanging out with friends. It also has plenty of room for a work-from-café situation The only downside was the service, which felt a bit slow for my liking. You also have to use McDonalds wifi if you want to do work here, but the wifi's free and seems to be working fine so I'm not sure if that's really a negative. The meal came with red salsas, which look to be house made since it was clear there is pickled onions and some other little things in it. Honestly it is an ok salsa, I'm not sure if this particular flavor is what I'm looking for to complement a breakfast burrito normally. We had an OK experience. The restaurant seems like a fairly small shop (run by family)! While I'm all for supporting local and mom/pop shops, I probably would not wait over 15 minutes for it. This place also hosts a lot of community events like Bey Blade nights or DJ lessons weekly to monthly. Snackwise, my partner and I got the Sinigang flavored tater tots, dino nuggets and popcorn chicken! The popcorn chicken was a bit dry but the tater tots and dino nuggets were crisped to perfection. The sinigang flavor is what really stood out because it's so rare to find this flavor casually. The sourness was perfection. As for the hojicha latte, the temperature was just right and the flavor is nice and strong. Definitely satisfies any hojicha craving. Love how there's a hallway that displays and sells local small artist's merchandise and how community focused this place is. 100% come here to yap, play their board games and enjoy their snacks/drinks AND attend one of their game/workshop nights. It's such a gem to find a place that has this level of coziness. 10/10 would come again.
