Came here based on Yelp reviews and did not disappoint!! I really wanted to find a place that can do designs and my tech did a great job. Very nice couple, small shop and will definitely be back!

I love this salon, there was about 3-4 people ahead of us when we came in and the wait wasn't long at all. The chairs are comfortable and feel so good on my back, and the ladies here offered us beverages when we were seated. I love how my nails turned out, exactly what I wanted!

During our visit to Portland, I didn't have time to do my nails at home, so I knew I'd need to find a nail salon upon arrival. We came across Eden Nails while leaving a local food truck park. Walking in, we were quickly seated, offered drinks, and received service right away. I followed some advice from reviews about trying the Vietnamese coffee, and I'm glad I did--it was fantastic, so don't miss it! I didn't catch my nail tech's name, but she was friendly and funny, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Portland and needing a quick fix or if you're a local in the area, phenomenal service!!

Walked in and tried out this new nail salon and loved my gel manicure from Vivian! She took such great care of removing my old gel manicure and was super detail oriented with this new spring design. She went above and beyond to make the flowers look 3D. I'm amazed!!! I'll definitely come back. Super friendly salon with complimentary tea :) next time I'll book an appt just in case they're busy. Highly recommend!

Booked last minute for a pedicure and Full set. Received by Mai (I think) with a warm welcome confirming my appointments. Peter started my pedicure after offering me a beverage (I chose the coffee - it was so good). Next he completed a full set with french gel finish. Enjoyed my experience and told a friend! Got my nails done 10/19, one fell off 10/24 so I got them fixed that day, 2 more popped off on 10/28 and now here I am 10/31 took them all off because another fell off. I'm not spending all of my time going back to a place to fix my nails multiple times a week! I typically have them on 3-5 weeks. Broke a nail on the plane, landed in an area. I'm not familiar with. Apple maps directed me towards this nail salon, and I am so glad they did. The door was locked, later learned that that's because of the Owner being extra cautious and extra safe. No annoying music, no strong smells, just a very peaceful experience.

Mai, Vivian and Peter are all awesome and my manicures have been so good, I just keep going back. There's a secret menu of Vietnamese Iced Coffee if you need a pick-me-up and it is TASTY. love this lil place.

I went in for an acrylic fill with gel color and topcoat for my 1" coffin nails in baby pink. I originally selected the wrong color to match my toes and I was given a different color that was a better match. The man that did my acrylic was very precise and methodical. All the nails look very even in size and shape. They play gentle instrumental music which I'm fond of due to the fact that I am not a big talker during services. I came here because the last place I went to -though kind of posh and efficient -gave me a bad skin reaction.

Nice people, cheap but very bad product. Do not recommend.

Rude manicurists. Crappy manicure (peeled off & chipped off the next day!) Greeted by wide eyed stares by 2 women there. "Do you have an appointment? " I had just called to tell them I was coming... All around really bad experience. I did come with a service dog (legally so!) they had a fit over that (been there twice before with no problem but I guess the owner changed the "rules" even though legally he cannot prohibit service dogs. Will not be returning. read more

Last Saturday the 21st was my second time coming to this establishment to get a pedicure done, and the first time I came here I had no issues and it was fine. I thought everything was fine this time as well not knowing that I was actually being racially profiled the entire time. I had came to get a pedicure done for my birthday and I was on the phone most of the time making preparations so sometime when my head was down they had locked the front door as if I was going to run out and not pay. They had even forgot that they locked the door because after I paid and even tipped, and I went to leave and the door was locked. I looked at the lady and she just laughed and said oh sorry and unlocked it. The door wasn't locked when I arrived so there was no reason for them to lock it while I was in there. I will definitely not be coming back here and I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

So I am a guy who has had two pedicures his whole life..until yesterday. I am so impressed with the service and atmosphere of this place that I want to go back. I picked their deluxe package, which was an amazing $40 and for that they took care of my feet, including leg massage up to the knees..it was fabulous. As for Covid-19 precautions, they are taking them here. They will see you by appointment only, so you are the only one in there. Temp check when enter, they have you wash your hands immediately. There is a divider between you and them and they are gloved and masked. The whole place is super clean and organized. I was impressed with their setup and precautions to make sure we are all safe during the entire process. Trust me, you won't be disappointed visiting them. read more

Wanted to take my boyfriend to his first mani and pedi experience. I was looking for a location that wasn't too far from his home. I was able to snag an appointment for two pedis/ one mani the day before. Why do I give this 5 stars..? First, I didn't have to wait to be served. Most nail salons are backed up because they take on too many clients prior so I hate waiting for more than 15 minutes when you scheduled an appointment for a certain time. Also, they are super sanitary. All of their tools come out of disposable one time products or they sanitize their tools. Lastly, they give you beverages or snacks. The pricing wasn't bad nor the parking. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back. read more

Sadly, I have to update my stellar review. I eagerly returned a 2nd time and was underwhelmed....and very confused. They allowed me to come in early and after picking a higher end pedicure they proceeded to wash and scrub and massage my feet and legs, but then turned me over to the proprietor who did very little with my nails! When the salon actually opened, 2-3 technicians came in and busily went to work on customers who arrived after me. Thinking I screwed up by not making an appointment, I made an appointment for my third visit as a birthday gift to myself and invited my sister to join me. I was disappointed when we were sat without a technician but instead got the proprietor as our sole tech. She removed my sister's polish and fortunately informed her that another tech would be working on her. She then turned her attention on me. By this time, I've been soaking for a good amount of time, so my feet are ready for treatment. Long story short, she cut me right out of the gate. Her harried and gruff approach was less than appealing. And again, very little effort was made on my nails. As I have no idea how to ensure getting someone with skill, I will not be returning. read more

A quiet, unassuming small salon that you can tell is operated with care and dedication. From the trellised archway to the live jasmine hanging from the ceiling, the place does not lack small comforts. The massage chair is comfortable and the prices are very reasonable. During my signature pedicure, I didn't feel rushed and I was able to enjoy the experience of being pampered. There's something special about finding a hidden gem and I think I've done it. read more

I don't care who knows it, I am in love! Husband and wife run, he did all the decor, still has the "new shop" smell and it is incredible relaxing. There is a big screen tv playing soothing music with beautiful scenery showing, complimentary drinks, too many colors to choose from, they offer creative colorful pairings for a different look. I had chosen an aqua blue with a little glitter in it and she says "you want more sparkle?" Ummmmmm, yes please! She added on a really cool blue with big glitter and now my toes are like staring into the deepest blue star lit night. Service is what they are all about. The massage chairs were great and if you see a green candy....be sure to grab one, it is guava! They have a 40% off services right now but even at full price.. this is my new shop. read more

The cutest little 2 person ran salon. The husband and wife duo are the epitome of the American dream. I'll start by saying I'm extremely picky with my nails because I was a nail specialist for 10+ years in my first career. If given the time and chance I think they could do a good job. Really well priced, running a special as they are newly opened! My acrylic fill with shellac polish was only $18.. so like I said I'm super picky and I didn't love how my nails were shaped so I refiled the myself when I got home.. a couple of nails were also crooked which I had to refile but I love that he went through and filed my cuticles and also picked off all the lifted parts before filling. I don't like a rushed polish job. A lot of the sides of my nails were not polished and the gel pooled down to my cuticles... which I hate. Will be back if I'm ever in a bind. read more

Excellent place! I'm vietnamese and my family owns nail salons so when I say this place gives you the bang for the buck - take my word for it! Very clean, all of their cutting tools came out of a sterilizer! ALSO complimentary mimosa / champagne/ and assorted drinks while you get your nails done!! I love my nails! This is the first time I've tried dipping powder and I'm definitely coming back! I also got a pedicure and it's one of the best pedicures I've ever had. This is the second time I've been here and they do a great job each time! Update: So happy to see them back open! I came in for a pedicure, as always it was great! They took extra precautions to make sure everyone is safe. They have plexiglass at all the manicure stations and larger shields at the pedicure chairs. I will definitely be coming back! read more

Love this place. They always do a great job on my nails and they've very kind and professional. They also take COVID precautions seriously; ever since salons were allowed to reopen, they only allow three people in at a time, take temperatures and ask you to wash hands with soap upon arrival, and to sign a document saying you don't have any COVID systems. They wear masks and have plastic barriers up at each nail station. I think they've all been vaccinated now too since they have their vaccination cards on display. I've been to many other nail spots in the area and Eden Nails is by far my favorite. Highly recommend them! read more

I got a nail dip refill with new nail art added. I gave him a hard one with these lemons but he nailed it. He did more steps and was a perfectionist with it, which my last nail tech (different salon) didn't do and I really appreciated it. They look great! Not too thick like my last set from a different salon. Only suggestions is to play a variety of music. The same song kept playing again and again. read more

No idea how this place has 4.5 stars. The woman doing my eyebrows dripped HOT wax on my eyelid, eyelashes, and below my eye. This has literally never happened to me. The skin around the eye where she dripped the wax is red and sticky. It's also not very clean. Very disappointed read more

Peter did my nails. Acrylic with gel (lovely lavender). He took his time and paid attention to detail. Love the results, will definitely be back! Glad to find a place I can finally call my go-to for nails! They were so friendly and let me soak my feet and get a massage while I waited for service. I have been meaning to try this salon for awhile and finally got around to it. The man and woman working were very kind and friendly. I went in for a pedicure and they asked if I also wanted a manicure. I never get my nails done because the polish always comes off within a day or two but I told her it sounded nice and if I had time after the pedicure I would. She had the gentleman work on my nails at the same time as she did my toes. They were so quick and efficient! My nails look beautiful and the cost was very reasonable with gel polish on both my hands and feet only costing $60 for both (gel is $10 more so a basic pedi mani would've been $50) I will definitely be back! Professional, friendly, very clean salon with a very nice massage chair. read more

Well... the good and the bad. I'm searching for a new salon that doesn't cut corners. This, was not the place. Good 1st: I called for an appointment and the lady who answered the phone told me to come right over. This was a pleasant surprise. This salon is run by a man and woman who I think are husband and wife. When I arrived, they had me wash my hands, took my temperature and had me fill out a covid questionnaire. The price for a dip color was 35.00 and that's actually pretty good. Now the bad: the place is pretty small and dingy. English is very limited. I had the man work on my nails. I came in with 10 perfect nails, with a dip color already on. Rather than soak off my color, he used the drill to grind off the color and as a result, weakened my nails so that they are now chipping off at the corners. I've worn dip color before and if it's done right, my nails do not grow weak. However, I know it will take me weeks to grow out the damage he did. The color was done very quickly and sloppily. There is color bleed into my cuticles, and the edges at my cuticles is rough. The dip color usually takes at least an hour and 15 minutes if it's done correctly, and this was done-start to finish, color removal to new color finished, took 50 minutes. I should have stopped this appointment as soon as he began to drill off my color but didn't. That is my fault. But if I can help save someone else's nails from this damaging process, then so much the better. read more

Eden nails is my go-to, amazing salon. They are always extremely friendly and they are able to replicate most any nail design I bring in (other than designs with gems and the like. I once broke a nail a few days after getting my full set done (it was my fault) and I came in and they fixed it for free. I will be coming to this salon for the foreseeable future! read more

I started going to Eden Nails when I lived in Clackamas. I moved to Troutdale in February and I still drive the 20-25min to get there because I love them so much! They are the cutest husband and wife couple in a quaint little salon, and they work together so well! My nails usually last about 3 weeks in between fills, which averages about once a month for me. Their prices are about what you would expect, and their quality of work and service are the best in the area! I've added some photos of my favorite styles by them. read more

They deserve zero. I went in for dip nails and ended up going to the man everyone said to go to. Never ever ever have I been treated like sh!* before. He was pulling and pressing my arm/wrist into the table. He was extremely aggressive. I've waited since august to post this because I'm still very upset about it. He rushed me into color and didn't let me choose. He was coughing like a maniac the whole time to the point he got up 3 times to cough in the bathroom. There are dead bugs in the curtains and they don't use tub covers in the pedicure baths. This man shouldn't even be working with clients he's abusive. What I asked for and what I got!! Please avoid this place like the plague. I still cannot believe how I was treated here. I'm in the beauty industry and I can tell you this is absolutely unacceptable. Even writing this gets me super angry that I allowed him to mistreat me. read more

This place was so amazing! My friend and I randomly decided to come here as it was near where we were. I'm so glad we did. What a wonderful atmosphere and amazing service. Got a manicure pedicure for a great price. All tools were sterilized and everything was so clean. The chairs were so comfortable and gave great massages. They also had a drink menu and we got mimosas! What a great start to the weekend. We would definitely come here again. Highly recommended! read more

In fact, I generally go about 1-2 yrs between cuts because they are always that bad but for the first time since I left Southern California, I've found a stylist that knows what they're doing. Kris took my shoulder length hair and cut it into an AMAZING shag. (And provided fantastic conversation while doing it, really they're super cool.) I love it so much! I've gone from a girl who only wore her hair in a ponytail or braids to keeping it unbound. I've gotten so many compliments and I just love the cut -- I can wear it straightened and curly and it looks just as good both ways. I've found the person I want to keep doing my hair, and I will be back!

I had a mixed experience recently here- Gretchen was very nice through the appointment and seemed…read morevery knowledgeable and helpful. She responded very quickly to my message quickly when I expressed dissatisfaction with my hair afterward, and offered to redo the color but I'd rather wait for my hair to grow out as it's several inches too short and already has layers of color in it. I arrived at 11am for an appointment that my confirmation said would last until 1:30pm and we didn't finish until 4pm. She did my cut first and then did the baby lights- they added nice color and dimension to the hair as desired. But she then did my roots and combed the color through. While my color was processing, someone arrived for a haircut and had their haircut done while my color sat. Around 45 minutes later, my color was washed out and was darker than I expected- most of the baby lights were no longer visible. She mentioned the color will fade to be lighter as expected, but the result was surprising. I also asked for 2 inches or so to be cut, and mentioned I wanted to be able to put my hair in a ponytail still. When facing the mirror, the length was going great and she showed me it could still go in a ponytail. When turned around, I lost several inches for some reason and there was no going back. She took off even more in the back, and I left unable to put my hair in a ponytail. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication and she thought I wanted the grow out to be able to be in a ponytail, but I don't think so since she initially showed me she could put it in a ponytail. By 4pm I was tired and hungry and ready to get home- she asked if I wanted to see the hair blown out and styled which I did but just wasn't up for given the 5 hours I'd been there so I said no. There was also another person waiting for their 4pm appointment to start. When I did straighten it at home, I was surprised by my hair. I've gotten cuts that suit curly hair on many occasions and have always been able to wear the cuts straight too. This cut when straight appears uneven and choppy. The transition to the short back is awkward. She'd mentioned that at the end she'd go through and do any evening, cutting of long pieces etc needed but by then, as I'd mentioned, someone had shown up for another appointment at 4 and no additional cutting was done. I'm not sure if it was an off day, if my hair just took a few hours longer than expected or if she typically stacks appointments but things seemed rushed between the clients. I've never had someone try to do a whole haircut while dye sits on and I felt like my dye was likely left on too long due to it which resulted in the darker hair and missing baby lights. I've included pictures of my hair before the appointment length wise, what I asked for, and what I got. Given the many positive reviews, I'd say this could be chalked up to an off experience but given the starkly different results I thought it was worth sharing.

i made a yelp account just to write this. i have been to DOZENS of nail salons and this place is the best to get your nails done. the tools they use won't cut you, they're very detail oriented, high quality and extremely talented. i loved being able to get 10 different colors at no extra cost. i even got my acrylics taken off and they weren't severely damaged which is a first for me!! they're the sweetest couple and they deserve all the traffic and business!! read more
