In particular, the bartender's craftsmanship deserves praise; they seem to have a knack for mixing just the right proportions to deliver beverages that are both refreshing and enjoyable. However, the dining experience took a regrettable turn when it came to the food. The dishes served lacked the fundamental characteristic of any good meal - flavor. The food was notably under-seasoned, leaving a bland taste in the mouth. This was a significant letdown as we expected the meals to reflect the same level of excellence as the drinks. Furthermore, the texture of the food was problematic. Many dishes were served soggy, which ruined the overall experience. Whether it was due to a rushed preparation or improper storage, the quality was not up to par. This is an area where Edendale must invest significant improvements if they hope to compete with other establishments in the culinary arena. In conclusion, while Edendale has potential with its fantastic ambiance and impressive drinks menu, the culinary experience severely detracted from our visit. The lack of seasoning and improper food texture were glaring issues that are hard to overlook. If the kitchen can raise its standards to match the quality of the rest of the establishment, Edendale could be a worthwhile dining destination. Went for bottomless brunch & it was Soooo Good!!! My boyfriend got the Asparagus frittata, I got the breakfast biscuit, and my friend got the burger. Each item was absolutely fantastic. BEWARE OF THE AUTOMATIC GRATUITY. Food was good, atmosphere was good, but outrages prices, it was just me and my partner, we both got pastas and water . They were fairly small so we had to order an appetizer. Overall the bill should've been $55 but to my surprise when I saw the bill it was $70. So I was shocked but paid anyways and thought maybe I read the prices wrong, but to my surprise when I saw the receipt there was an automatic 20% gratuity charge which added $12 which is insane. On top of that they still want you to tip and when I tipped I guess it wasn't good enough because my partner told me when I tipped he made a ugly face. WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE. The server immediately walked away and couldn't stop to ask him why he didn't tell us about the gratuity charge and my partner and I were in a hurry so we couldn't do anything. Great little brunch place. My friends and I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't too busy! I got the 2 egg breakfast ($16) with scrambled eggs, pork sausage, tater tots, and wheat toast. I thought the eggs were a tad dry but otherwise, really good! We also ordered some Yo! eggs on the side which is their version of vegan eggs. Honestly, they look like boobs lol I honestly didn't really like them, but if you're vegan, could be an option for you! Outside of the food, really like the ambiance of the place. This is the second time coming here. The first was for a light supper and drinks. The first time was so enjoyable and relaxing, I completely forgot to review anything. Our party of six sat comfortably inside. Although we were next to the kitchen, we didn't notice it after getting into food and conversation. This time, we were on the patio for late Saturday afternoon cocktails & snacks. Seating: There were 9 of us this time. The patio was a little chilly, but the wait staff came out and fired up some heaters for us. And it became the perfect space, with room enough for everyone. Food: This time it was just a bunch of boards. If you're meeting up with friends, ordering a selection of charcuterie and cheese is a great pairing with their selection of cocktails and beers. More food: sharing with friends - Burrata cheese is always a favorite. It's creamy, gooey mozzarella cheese. Drinks: I didn't photograph any. The drinks aren't ridiculous with flames and umbrellas. They just taste good. Red Raven, Soleil de Sang, and Left Hook are worth trying. Service: We were more into the food and company than trying to notice wait staff. First outdoor dining of the year and first time at Edendale, so good! They were full on a Tuesday night, but it was also their second night open. I recommend making reservations. The service is amazing, we were taken care of from start to finish. Happy hour (5-7 I believe) doesn't have anything that exciting for food, but drinks are great. We loved the Mac and cheese, it's small portions but perfect amount for 2. Also recommend Fish and chips, light and crispy and the fries are also delicious. It's rare to find historic architecture in LA, which makes Edendale a must-visit for the atmosphere alone. It used to be a fire station that's been IMPECCABLY renovated and wraps you in the most cozy, vintage vibes. Like time-traveling to the 1920s. The bar is where fire engines parked and is HUGE! Warm wood, enormous mirrors, and big/comfortable stools. I always show up early to have a drink there because it's so special. There's TWO outdoor patios and it looks like you can smoke in the one in the back, which a rare treat. Food and drinks don't disappoint. Prices are comparable and fair. I appreciate the seasonal updates! Service has always been friendly. The crowds are young, hip, and attractive. Everyone seems to be glowing while savoring tasty food/drink in such a comfy, beautiful environment. We always leave the place elated. Super romantic! read more

And surely keep reminding you about it. Food was great. As a starter crispy calamari the jalapeños and yellow peppers gives the perfect kick if you like spicy, accompanied with a glass of Chardonnay. Came here on a date. The Edendale is pretty spacious -- there is a front outdoor seating area, an open wall that leads to the main bar area, rooms across from the bar one can be seated at, more seating leading down the corridor from the bar to another open outdoor backroom and restrooms. Love the lighting at night -- gives off a soft, subdued, casual/romantic vibe... I felt like I could have been in France or a hip bar in NYC... but with LA weather. I had one cocktail and a glass of rose -- both were pretty good, no complaints here! The bartender was super attentive which was great! I would like to come back to sit in all of the other areas I mentioned and to try more off their menu! Good for solos, couples, groups, etc. I loved how it wasn't overly crowded and how it was quiet enough to the point where you were able to have a pleasant non-yelling conversation amongst whoever you were with. Hidden gem in an old firehouse. Stepping through the little metal gate entry was like stepping back in time. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night. I had reservations for five people to be seated inside. When we arrive, since it was Sunday, there was no valet. Parking on the street was a bit difficult. The restaurant had plenty of seating available both inside and outside on the relaxing patio In front of the restaurant. The interior was dimly lit and had old charm. Black and white photos covered a wall in the waiting area. The vibe in both areas seem to bit different. Inside was quite loud and social. It was hard to hold a conversation. Perhaps it was just the people at the table sitting next to us... The patio appeared to be quieter and more tranquil. The menu had a good variety of options for everyone. We selected the Impossible Meatballs (vegetarian), Roasted Beets, the Impossible Burger (vegetarian), Fish & Chips, Scottish Salmon and the Green Curry Rice Bowl. Everything was super tasty. The meatballs were amazing! Crispy on the outside and seasoned just right. The Fish and Chips received a lot of praise for being lite and not greasy. Service was very good. I will definitely be back. I had the $22 salmon dish and the salmon was cooked to the right temperature, but it was served over basically melted butter and cooked frozen peas and carrots. It was actually an odd choice. It would have been better if the salmon was just served over greens. I think everyone liked their food but not loved and the entrees were all over $20. It's a great spot for a first date. Street parking can be tough so leave extra time! I'll be back for a drink! read more

I've visited this cozy restaurant and bar for years; it's about time I place a review. The food and drinks- the interior and exterior dining spaces are all fantastic. The menu provides a hearty selection of on tap, fancy mixed cocktails, and foods sure to satisfy all, from the vegan to the carnivore. i ate here this week with a friend after looking at this place on line a few times. The food was very good. i had the salmon , which was delicious. My friend had a pasta, and sausage bowl. That dish was just ok to me. The menu is very varied with no clear theme or cuisine type, but thats ok if the quality is there, and i think it is. The service was also very good, very attentive and sweet. The decor was more casual than I anticipated, no table cloths and kinda uncomfortable wooden chairs. This certainly did put anyone but me off, as the place was full with what seemed to be a young local crowd. My pino was really good too. So i would come back, but not rush back, maybe when its nice out and we could sit outside. read more

Rude and Awful and creepy bartenders on a consistent bases. If you're reading this, please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. The rudest bartenders in LA with the worst service and Overpriced food and drinks. The heavy set guy with his shirt unbutton and his sidekick with his rolled up sleeves behind the bar are consistently two of the rudest and worst bartenders I have ever encountered. Not to mention the fact that one of their bartenders, who spent the night giving me friend "free shots", cornered her in the photo booth and threw a childlike fit when she wouldn't kiss him and his wanted him to leave. They should shut this place down. I am a career bartender, this place is not how bartenders should treat the patrons. This has happened every time I have ever gone in there. Literally. We've been coming here for a few years. I LOVE this place. I love the vibe, location, staff, food. ALL OF IT! Last night was bad. The service was slow, the food was tasty but all came out cold. We had calamiri, salmon and steak frite. All of it came out cold. We were hungry and have made a conscious decision to give grace and make allowances because all businesses are still dealing with staffing/health issues. My question is: at what point shoud we say, "hey, this is not ok." Not sure. All I know is the we are happy to be able to go out to dinner again. One of the top 5 meals I've ever had. We had an early dinner on a weeknight and the dining room was nearly empty. The decor and lighting was gorgeous. Admittedly, it did take 15 minutes for someone to come up to our table to take drink orders, but the food more than made up for the slower service. The Chicken Au Jus is one of the best plates of food I've ever had! The brussels sprouts were amazing. For dinner we got the bread pudding which was great too. Just had brunch here with family. They have a huge patio with plenty of distance between tables. We started with biscuits served with salted butter, honey, and jam. OMG. I've eaten a lot of biscuits and these were some of the best I've tasted: buttery, tender, and packed with flavor. We also shared the Tempeh Lettuce Tomato sandwich with a vegan mayonnaise--to die for, the grain bowl topped with an egg. It was filled with perfectly roasted root vegetables, farro, and tartly dressed baby lettuce. The vegan enchiladas were downright delicious topped with some magical green sauce, but the star was the smoked carrot lox served over cashew hummus on toast with capers. We really enjoyed an early dinner at Edendale. Loved the decor and the relaxed vibe. The servers match the place. Hip and cool with a relaxed vibe. The Fried Chicken Buns were really good. They were so o good that we ordered another plate. We also shared the Elote Corn. I was surprised at first that it was cold. I thought it was roasted corn etc... But it didn't matter because it was awesome and we wolfed it down. Drinks from the bar were excellent. The bar was big and also had a cool vibe.
