Brought in my dark graphite BMW 540i for exterior wax / clearcoat treatment, with special attention to bird droppings (extra seeds!) damage to clear coat. Ed estimated most of the damage could be restored but he was wrong (in a good way). It was restored completely such that I couldn't tell the clearcoat was previously scratched! Ran my hands across the car to feel a silky finish, which speaks to his thoroughness in clay bar treatment. This is my secod time coming to Ed's (first time was wash) and I'm again very satisfied with timely and thorough work. 12/10/18 update - Ed delivers again! Passenger got sick in my car and despite some pretreatment by me, there was residual odor and staining. First time going to this place yesterday as per my brother's recommendation. This spot is tiny for a detail car wash and they were busy. For a Saturday, it's totally understandble! Folks here are super nice and I think pricing is reasonable. I got the super carwash for $45 (I have an SUV) but would have paid $30 for the normal car wash (which is what I'd do next time). I did the super carwash since it's my vehicle's first wash since getting it from the dealership about 7 weeks ago. I'm giving this place 4 stars and not 5 because there were still some spots inside the car that was missed but I'm not upset about it. I understand they're busy. Took the Prius in for their "Wash & Wax". Their website states that this service is $35, however when I asked about the pricing they said that it has gone up to $45. They were able to accommodate me on short notice. Took about 45-60min. They have a small waiting area with a couple sofas and a tv. The "Wash & Wax" service included a nice washing, vacuuming interior, cleaning floor mats, glass cleaning, tire dressing and waxing using an orbital machine. Car came out great! Looked like it was new. Paint shimmered. Interior looked good as well. I'll have to come in one day for a full detail. read more

There's a really nice waiting area with WiFi, magazines and phone chargers! As for the car wash and detail, they were extremely efficient. My car is sparkling clean on the outside and inside. They vacuumed and wiped the interiors down and helped me clean a few spots out of my seats. I would definitely go here again. So, I normally go to the $5 car wash places to maintain the cleanliness of my car because I like to save my hard earned money and don't mind putting in a little time and elbow grease to spruce up my car. But when I need a deep cleaning and can't stand my car, I go to Ed's Detail. I have yet to be disappointed by this place. I don't have a super expensive or exotic car so I'm only speaking from an experience of the average (?) car. I have a Honda Insight 2012. Fairly priced, great attention to detail, and the owner (I believe was the one I spoke with) was more than pleasant (super friendly and you can tell he cares very much about what he does). I for some reason ended up getting multiple stains in my car over a period of 2 months and after picking up my car, they were all gone. From what I can remember, my car only took about a couple hours to finish, so it was definitely worth the wait. Their waiting area in the shop is very homey, I wish I could hang out there all day. If you want prices, the pictures on their Yelp page have them. To find the shop, you kind of have to look for it. It wont be on any main or major streets. You'll have to turn into a street that leads to a bunch of warehouses and you'll find Ed's Detail near the end of it. Definitely recommend taking your car to Ed's Detail for your car needs. I'm pretty hard to please but Ed's Detail won't disappoint. read more

I could not be more impressed with Ed's. I just drove over 1,300 miles with two dogs shedding like CRAZY. There was dog hair & slobber evvvverywhere. They were able to get me right in (on a Saturday when it looked busy!) In one hour, for $35 (only $10 more for pet hair removal), +tip of course, my car - without a doubt - looks better than when I bought it from the dealership brand new. I can't believe it. I don't post a lot of reviews but my experience at Eds detail was review worthy. I've been a bad car owner (at least paint-wise) and neglected waxing my car regularly. So, I had years of wear and transfer paint (from other doors hitting my car) and wasn't sure how much a detail would even help. I did the mini detail and was blown away. Well This is my 4th time visiting, and honestly their works quality has been worst than before, I just took my car to car wash today and they did not take care of exterior washing, properly I have found some spot that suppose to be removed in hand wash Also I asked him to quick wash exterior, but he wash carpet and charge me for that. My second time going here and it was just as great as the last time. The owner is friendly and the employees do a really nice job! I drive an older car, a 2001 Xterra, so the paints faded a bit and there are a few scratches, but his crew cleans it up really well. The waiting area is relaxing there are couches and a little fountain in the corner. The only con is the secretary gave me an outrageous price when I called. This is fixable tho. Just learn the menu. This place is a bit hidden but there are signs around the area that should lead you directly to the shop. My coworker had her car detailed here and I thought her car looked so good and brand new I started communicating with Ed through yelp and he responded quickly with every question I had. I dropped off my car today at noon, and Ed and I did a walk through with the main problems I needed cleaning with my car and he was very nice! Cant wait to pick up my car today and give this review an update with pictures!! :) (Originally rated it 5 stars) AFTER PICKING UP MY CAR They got all the scratches that were on the exterior of my car out which im so happy about! But then I noticed my monitor screen looked scratched and the seats looked dried ( I assume leather is suppose to be nice and shiny) I called Ed right away and let him know my situation and he told me to bring the car in. He was very nice about everything and fixed my scratched up monitor and repolished my seats + vacuumed again! I knocked 1 star off because they should have noticed the screen prior to releasing the car to me and the inconvenience of having to go back there. &another star off because my seats still look dried. Their website says a full detail for a sedan is $150 but I was charged $165 but got 10% for doing a yelp review which still came out to about $150... wehhh, I don't know if i'll be back. but their customer service (or Ed [because hes the only one I really communicated with]) was great! read more

Ed is just such an awesome, amicable person. I brought my car in after an accident with some spilled sauces and he totally took care of my car. The detail was $45 but totally took care of the inside of my car from every nook and cranny. Afterwards my car looked like it was brand new - on the inside at least lol. I've been to Ed's twice. The first time was great. The second time was NOT GOOD AT ALL. Besides them chipping the paint on the hood of my card. There credit card machine was down. There were no visible signs upon pulling in so i was not notified until my car wash was done. They asked me to come back later and pay. I had one of my employees take the money back to the car wash and was charged more than the price i was quoted. Any business owner would have taken the missed detail of informing patrons of card situation as a personal loss. They could have least offered me a free car wash for next time since not only was i honest and came bk to pay but they damaged my car. read more

This was my second time going to Ed's, I have tried them because they are close to my work and it's convenient. The first visit I brought my Subaru WRX and got the base wash and wax package, it was okay for the price. Nothing imlressive, but also not bad..but hey I get it, it's the discounted base package they probably sell alot of. Recently I had purchased a used 4runner that was in need of a good quality detail, as it had been left outside without a wash for a while without much care. Figured since the cheap wash and wax was okay for the price, that their full $195 detail would be awesome and that they'd take the time to do it right, boy was I wrong. I dropped it off (930 am) and planned on coming back at the end of the day (430 pm) as they said it would take most of the day to complete, totally fine with me..just wanted a quality detail. While my 4runner has been used and abused over the years, it's a 1996 and 20 years old, I wasn't expecting some scratches and trouble spots to come out and it to look perfect. I was fully aware of that coming in. But what I did come back to was bird poop still partially left on some spots, dirt and dust still left on the chrome front and rear bumper, bug parts and splatter on the front fairing, wax still left on the front hood and above the headlights, oxidation spots all over the body (that have now been easily removed from a friend who has a buffer and I was curious if they would come out or just didn't get done). Basically looked like the base wash and wax package with an interior clean, which was okay and better than the exterior at least. But for $195, I expect the entire car to come out looking like each spot was at least looked at and cleaned. Having those spots where the bird poop just caked on there, and easily came off with a cloth afterwards by the way, was just flat out upsetting as I know they at least cleaned that area to start getting it off..but just left the residue there anyways instead of actually doing a good job. Overall, this is the second time I have been unimpressed with this place. Unfortunately you just do not get what you pay for. If you want a rushed(but takes all day), cheap (but expensive cost) and poor quality detail experience then come here. The few photos that follow are just some of the spots I noticed(there are more) when I got back to work after picking the vehicle up from Ed's, like I said earlier we are down the street from him and it's barely a drive. I will not be recommending this place to anybody that wants a quality detail for their vehicle. read more
