I don't eat breakfast very often, but when I'm visiting with family in Las Vegas it tends to happen. It was a Sunday morning when we visited Egg & I for the first time last month, and for a place I've driven by a thousand times, it was much bigger inside then I was expecting. The menu here had everything you could want out of a breakfast spot from Ham, Pancakes, and Eggs to Sausage, Bacon, and Waffles. I was feeling pretty hungry at the time so I decided to order the Chocolate Chip Pancakes with a side order of Ham. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes were pretty huge and bigger than the actual plate. They were fluffy, had a decent amount of chocolate chips in them, and tasted pretty dang good. The ham on the side was also pretty good, though as standard as you get for breakfast Ham. Overall, Egg & I was a wonderful breakfast experience and definitely a place I would revisit in the future when visiting Las Vegas. THE BEST BREAKFAST SPOT IN ALL OF LAS VEGAS. I have been coming here for years and every single time I stop by, THEY ROCK. Door life a favor and come check them out if you haven't already. I don't live in Vegas but the 15 min drive off the strip is worth it when I'm in town. However I must warn you, THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS PACKED BEFORE NOON. So expect a small wait but it's never too bad of a wait. This last time two times we came here it was a wait of 15 min or less at noon. The menu here is extensive! They serve breakfast and lunch all day and that's a huge plus for me. I always go with a skillet or omelette here, portions are HUGE. I decided to go with a Denver omelette with sour cream and WOW, it was amazing!! 10/10 meal! The side potatoes are so good too! The perfect breakfast after a long night out. Take my baby for her big 14 birthday! It was a great choice.. We sat outside on the patio. Let see...the warm banana nut muffin was delicious. Even for people like me who don't normally eat muffins and things but this had it all! I love the softness of the muffins and how the nuts were kind of soft. I got steak and eggs. Excellent place. We had no wait for 2 people at 11:30ish. It wass crowded, but well organized, with no issues getting to our table. A big plus in my book was that our waitress brought a caraf of hot water along with my tea Shoutout and props to our server, Omarti!! My wife had the Pumpkin Butterscotch Pancakes with ham. These cakes had a good flavor without being overpowering, and were a good size, which she as usual, could not finish. I had the Smoky Chipotle Pork Benedict, with Habla Diabla potatoes. The Benedict was flavorful and spicy without being too pica, while the potatoes with the seasoning were flavorful. I normally don't like that cut of potatoes, as they appeared to be frozen. However, the preparation was so well done as to allow me to overlook that aspect. They were crunchy, yet fluffy inside, which has never been my experience. Excellent chef skills! What went well??? Umm everything!!! The food was good, location is off the strip so parking is easy and free, huge menu, electric train the circles the track above head adds a nice touch and fun to look at. But the thing that made it....and I mean really over the top was the server Daniella. She was on it! She brought waters with lemons on the side immediately without us asking (just in case we wanted them). She brought multiple creamers for the coffee so you didn't have to ask. She brought banana muffins to hold us over till the food came, she brought sauce samples and chili samples to make sure we would like our food (without us asking), she wasn't afraid to tell us if something was her favorite or make suggestions. It seemed like we didn't have to ask for anything, she just knew! Friendly and good at her job. She was very responsive to my brother's allergy to gluten and didn't seem bothered in the least by questions asked about menu items. She communicated with the kitchen and made sure he was accommodated. It was really appreciated. Plus I ordered the California Benny (was ok but would get something else next time as the bread got soggy too quick) and when a gentleman brought it to me he sang "California knows how to Benny" (iykyk).....I LOVED that wish I knew his name so I could give him credit, but unfortunately I don't. I have to come every time I'm in Vegas if I can, this place is the best. They have the best banana muffins so do yourself a favor and ask for one when you come! I also love how nice the staff is every time I come and they have the system in place if you need something flip the egg upside down so they know you need help, flip it back when you're happy! I recently moved to the area last October and was excited to try this restaurant after it was recommended to me. Unfortunately, my experience celebrating my 50th birthday here was extremely disappointing. When I ordered a mimosa, I was asked for ID. I had unfortunately misplaced it, and while I understand the policy, the way it was handled came across as rude and condescending rather than professional. It completely shifted the mood at our table. I lost my appetite, chose not to order anything, and the overall experience became uncomfortable enough that even my friend's daughter decided to leave and not eat. What made the situation more frustrating was the inconsistency. A gentleman at a nearby table mentioned he is never asked for ID and was openly being served mimosas. He even went as far as ordering one for me and disguising it in a water glass to avoid staff noticing. It was clear he was being overserved without question, while our table was treated very differently. I respect policies, but consistency and respectful service matter. Sadly, this experience turned what should have been a special birthday celebration into a negative one. As a recent local, I'll take my money and my tendency to generously tip somewhere more professional. read more

Both Rafa and Serenity were both great and cheerful. Both times I went in early during the week so no wait at all. I'm also an early riser so a 6am opening is purfect to start the day. Check in on Yelp and you'll get a banana nut muffin, add butter (thanks for the tip Serenity) When you want eggs and French toast without increasing your waistline, the half stuffed French toast is the way to go. Add some of the green or red hot sauce for a kick to your hump. The half omelet (2 instead of 4 eggs) was quite filling with the crispy season potatoes and toast. Finally a restaurant that has a changing table in the men's bathroom (the little things)! The country fried steak was delicious and their country potatoes were fully cooked and had a Pappy's like seasoning on them. There were complications with our order, so that prevented us from getting back to California for a bit. Men's restroom was tiny, with a stall and urinal. Fully stocked and clean, however. (Great country song was playing but I didn't dry my hands fast enough to Shazam it!) Safe enough to be worth visiting again if we ever come back for a conference. Such a cute place! Love the little Halloween-themed train circling near the ceiling. Service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. So many delicious-sounding options that it was difficult to decide, especially since they have gluten-free toast, waffles, and pancakes. I also like that they offer turkey bacon & sausage instead of just pork. Andy got the chili rellenos omelet which was huge and fabulous. So cheesy. I got the works waffle, gluten-free, which came with 2 eggs & choice of meat so I went with sunny side up and turkey bacon. The waffle was super thick and almost cakey. Found this hidden gem several years back. Now, whenever we're in Vegas, we need to have breakfast here. Decided to get here when the first open because last time it was packed and we had to wait. The inside isn't that big, but big enough. Decor has a county vibe. Staff is super nice. The menu is crazy. So many choices. We went with eggs benedict & corned beef & hash. Eggs Benedict was very tasty. The ham was thick. Eggs not overly runny, you know, the white part. Potatoes were crisp and tasty. My husband had the hash. He said it was good but probably wouldn't order again. Couldn't put his finger on it but something was different. The banana bread muffin is so good. Could have eaten more than just one. Came in before my flight to grab brunch . We called ahead to be waitlisted for seats. When we arrived waited about 3min and was seated. I asked for indoors because it was actually chilly and very breezy outdoors. Immediately asked for coffee and water. And waitress brought out a carafe of coffee and took our order. The Egg and I is an AMAZING breakfast spot! Saw the reviews on Yelp and the menu so we had to make it a stop on our Vegas trip! Arrived on a Sunday morning (11am) and the wait was about 25 min. We were quickly seated and had the most amazing server, Ty! The menu is LARGE so there is something for everyone and trust me, everything looks good on the menu but when the food came out, we were in heaven. From the Corned Beef Hash, the Chile Relleno Omelette to the Brad's Scramble, we all cleaned our plates! We ended on the high note with the BEST, warm, soft, and delicious banana nut muffins. I came here after reading the reviews. When l checked in l received the banana muffin on the house, it was delicious. I ordered the original burrito and my husband ordered the omelet. My food was so big, l hardly finished half of my burrito. Our server, Serenity was amazing with beautiful smile. She knew exactly what was in the menu and she let us modify the menu to our liking.
