Lots of people were there this Sunday However, seated served quickly as fast. Foods were hot and fresh. Portion was great for Two. The Crepe and Pancake was real good. They just cook when we ordered. It was real fluffy Pancake and soft Crepe. It was not just warm up kind of typical brunch restaurants. I am very happy that I found hidden spot near my house. Coffee was hot and has a savory scent and taste. I usually don't like sour taste on my coffee. Thank you making great Brunch!

Waffle with berries. Sorry to have started eating before taking pic.

It's in a super trendy little shopping center and the place itself is cute, clean, stylish and absolutely dripping with personality. Everything feels very fresh, organic and carefully curated. And, naturally, you're going to pay a little more for the privilege. But I'll give them this- the quality is high, and the food is genuinely pretty damn tasty. I had the lox bagel, and it was delicious. I'd absolutely get it again. It wasn't exactly massive, and it wasn't packed with enough salmon to require a second bagel to contain it, but I can sleep better at night knowing that the salmon was almost certainly responsibly sourced and delicately carried by well-paid laborers to the cutting board of a place where everyone eats organic and at least one employee has a tattoo of a lotus flower. I realize I'm sounding like a complete jerk here. That's because I am. It's a gift. But the truth is, this is a good place. It's just very she-she (chi-chi?) for what it is. You're paying for a quality sandwich, but you're also paying for the experience, the neighborhood, the aesthetic and the comforting knowledge that nobody behind the counter has ever knowingly consumed a Dorito. So if you're into trendy little spots, high quality ingredients and the whole ladies who lunch lifestyle, you're going to love Grutogi I'd happily go back for another lox bagel. I just might wear a baseball cap so nobody mistakes me for someone who owns a Pilates studio.

Lots of tables and cute pictures. The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

Limited parking right now - looks like another building and hopefully additional parking being constructed next door. Immediately liked the bright modern comfortable vibe when entering. I loved the circle lights above the booths. Unfortunately, they were dusty and I kept waiting for it to drop in our food. (Not what I want to be focusing on while eating). Very large menu with lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, brunch. Cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice also available. I got the CHICKEN BACON RANCH PANINI - it was really good but messy. Arrived sloppy dripping in ranch. I ended up having for fork & knife it. Good bacon, grilled chicken, slices of avocado. Would get ranch on side next time - It tastes like the typical restaurant supply big bucket of blah ranch. They need a house made ranch. The fried okra was really good! MONTE CRISTO - on a croissant. Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. We will go back sometime and try breakfast.

As you can see from posted pics here on Yelp the restaurant is classy with a brasserie ambiance and vibe. We elected to be seated in one of the very comfortable booths across from the attractive bar with its red, upholstered swivel stools. My wife opted for a glass of Pinot Grigio and I a Sazerac. The Sazarac was OK, but overpowered in this pour by the bitters (and I'm one who loves both Angostura and Peychaud bitters. I drink them both straight whenever I have a slightly queasy stomach and enjoy them straight). For starters we shared a bowl of French onion soup which on this chilly early winter morning was a comforting and savory start to our brunch meal. My wife went with the eggs Benedict and I decided to try the Oeufs en Cocotte, a dish I encountered here for the first time ever. The eggs Benedict, my wife reports, was excellent. Perfectly poached eggs, large slices of a tender and flavorful ham over a croissant-like puff pastry that had been split and grilled to perfection in butter on the flat top, topped with a nicely done Hollandaise sauce. Happily for me, she left a half of the butter grilled pastry. It was divine. Likewise the Oeufs en Cocotte, eggs poached in a shallot cream sauce, was heavenly. Cannot wait to enjoy this again! Perfectly cooked eggs in a flavorful, steaming hot, shallot and cream sauce. So good. Our server was perfectly attentive and very helpful, answering clearly our questions about the preparations of the dishes. So looking forward to our next visit.
