Bottom Line Up Front: Eggbred is breakfast food for Gen Z -- and that's not a dig by any means. Let me eggplain... The Background: Eggbred is a fast-food establishment with fast-casual aspirations. You pay at the counter but the meals are handcrafted, so there's a wait similar to a sit-down restaurant. Plus, the prices are higher than a Mickey D's -- $9.79 to $13.99 for sandwiches and $9.99 to $17.99 for burritos, for example. The Food: I ordered the Ribeye California Burrito and it was delicious. The beef was tender and moist, the avocado was fresh, and the cilantro crema was tasty. The lemonade was very meh, unfortunately. The Setting: Located in a smallish strip mall on Harbor Boulevard, it has limited free parking in the front. Not a problem on a weekday mid morning, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to find parking at peak times. Inside, it had a cool, modern aesthetic, but it was small, not ideal for mid to large-size groups. Customer Service: My cashier was friendly and quite knowledgeable, providing an eggcellent recommendation (the Ribeye California Burrito). However, the cook staff took awhile making the food (it took about 20 minutes for my order to come out). The Pros and Cons: So, is the food worth the hype and premium prices? Yes and no. It's essentially a fast-food restaurant charging sit-down prices with longish wait times. Your satisfaction level will depend largely on your expectations: if you're thinking it's fast food, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the care they put into the food and freshness of the ingredients. You'll be disappointed if you're expecting a more premium experience to match the premium prices. The Conclusion: I would need to return to try the other dishes on the menu to give a definitive answer, but based on my first experience I didn't feel like I got enough value for the price I paid and the wait I endured. While I would be open to trying their other dishes, I would not return unless I was in the area by chance.

I've always been able to find parking here, but on Saturday it was not happening. I parked on the street, but noticed when I exited the store to go get coffee next door, there was a parking lot in the back! If you're going north on Harbor, turn right on Las Riendas Dr, then turn right on Ladera Terrace and you can access the back parking lot of the shopping plaza. There's more space and spots to park in the back. Ordered via their website because I was craving an egg sandwich in the afternoon. I went with the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was good, but the sauce that they use is overpowering. My order was at the counter and the cashier was nice and handed it to me. There's indoor and outdoor seating and I went next door to get coffee at Bodhi Leaf and ate my sandwich outside of the shop, where the wooden bench/sofa is at. I loved the egg consistency and it was cooked just right with a little runny yolk, but not too runny. The bun or bread used was nice, fluffy and milky and the sausage tasted like your standard breakfast sandwich. The only thing was the sauce was too overpowering and took away from the flavor of the egg and sausage. That's the only thing I would change, other than that solid sandwich.

Egg Bread does exactly what it sounds like ~ egg-based burritos and sandwiches that are yummy, filling, and just what you'd expect. The food is satisfying in the best way, and the space itself is fun and clean... the kind of spot that feels good to eat in, not just grab and go. A note for anyone gluten-free: there is a GF option, but it's essentially just a salad swap instead of the bread. It's a nice gesture, but this is definitely not a celiac-friendly kitchen, so if you have a serious sensitivity, proceed with caution (or skip it altogether). Prices are a little on the steeper side for what you're getting, but the experience makes it worth the try. Just don't go out of your way to get here, but if you're in the area, absolutely stop in.

Love the interior of this place. It has a nice vibrant and complement colors all around. Parking is quiet easy, the plaza isn't busy for a Saturday morning. The fries is so good and crispy! The burrito with pastrami got a good combination worth other ingredients like soft scrambled egg and fries potatoes but they are a bit mushy. The service is fast too and had a good conversation with one of the staff who took my order. I think his name is Pj. I'd come back to try their other stuff!

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before -- have been here several times over the last few years. Ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and smoked bacon burrito -- both were very tasty. They are located in a strip mall with several other eateries -- parking. An be a challenge during peak hours. There is lots of both indoor and outdoor seating.

First time trying Eggbred and honestly would try this spot again for their breakfast items! Since it was already in the afternoon and still hadn't had lunch yet, I opted to try their sandwich options. I picked the Truffle Crunch Burger, and while it was pretty good, I didn't really taste the truffle spread and the smoked jalapeño ketchup was very mild. If those flavors were amped up a bit more, this would be super tasty! Their PCH sandwich was pretty flavorful and all the textures worked well together! Next time, I'll probably stick with my breakfast burrito cravings as those have generally been my go-to. Service was friendly but had a bit of wait since there were other late lunch diners too. The space was cute with the fun egg-themed murals and silly puns!

Craving for breakfast? Look no further! Parking is limited during peak hours and it's open daily at 7am - 2pm (except Friday and Saturday till 4pm). Inside has limited dining seating but has tables outside due to multiple eateries within the area. Sodas are can. But have a water station. Got the pastrami burrito since cashier say it's hefty. It's made to order so expect to wait. After waiting, the burrito is toasted and grilled to perfection. It's breakfast so you can't go wrong with it. But if you in a rush or coming for your lunch break, expect to wait Overall, recommend on giving this a world. Expect to wait if there's a line

Service was super friendly. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, it was a bit over fried (or maybe they need to change the oil), but the flavors were great and the chicken was tender. The Cajun gravy was delicious but the sandwich was just just as delicious stand alone. Plenty of seating, parking can get rough during the busier times. This is definitely not your fast food type situations, so order ahead of you're on the go.

Food -4* Service - 5* Ambiance -5* I joined the Yelp Elite moment to try this place. Very cool. Food I ordered the Pastrami Burrito. 4.5* It had: tortilla, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, soft scrambled eggs, smoked paprika spread, and grilled pastrami. It was very tasty, of a good size and the pastrami was a nice kick. It added a little crispiness and salinity. It helped the other ingredients shine, in my opinion. I also ordered the BACON EGG & CHEESE. 3.5* It had: Applewood smoked bacon, fresh-cracked over medium egg, sharp cheddar, smoked jalapeño ketchup, toasted milk bun. The egg was perfectly cooked, but the jalapeño ketchup was very sweet. While ketchup is normally sweet, this was overly sweet. It overpowered all the other flavors. I would not get again. They gave me a house made lemonade. It was good, refreshing, light and balanced. Service Fast, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ambiance Cool esthetic going on here. They were jamming the tunes of a mix of genres. Cool wall art about eggs. Egg shaped lights in the dining room. Lots of yolk color. Very cool and fun. I bet it would be fun to work here.

I decided to try their burrito and I got a lemonade. The people are helpful and kind. I was indecisive on what to get but a breakfast burrito was the way to go. I couldn't finish it because I got full but it had parts of hashbrowns inside their burrito and that was so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. First time at this place and I'm happy to say I found a new spot to go to! I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich as well as the pastrami breakfast burrito and both of them were very tasty! They make things fresh, so do expect a little bit of time to get your meal. The sandwich was great albeit, I probably would have put a little less of the bbq sauce on it. Otherwise, it tasted great! The burrito was a surprise. Never tried pastrami for a breakfast burrito but it worked! The eggs were very fluffy. The potatoes tasted great. And the meat was great. All in all, a solid place to get your breakfast fix! The people are nice and the inside has a decent amount of seating.

I tried Eggbred on a Saturday morning. I was able to call in my order so it was ready for pickup when I arrived. I love convenience so this was a plus. I got the PCH sandwich which was very flavorful, you could really taste the pineapple which made the sandwich delicious in my opinion.

Everyone was friendly, upbeat, and efficient, even with how busy the place gets. And it does get busy--Eggbred clearly has a strong following, so expect a bit of a crowd, especially on weekends. Even so, the staff kept things moving smoothly. The guy who took our order from Corporate I believe, he was awesome, great personality, made great recommendations and took the time to get to know each customer that walked by to order and made each of us feel special. Very personable and people oriented. Overall, Eggbred in La Habra, CA delivered a fun, flavorful breakfast experience with standout items and great service. While the wet scrambled egg sandwich wasn't my personal favorite, the fried chicken sandwich and blueberry cheesecake waffle more than made up for it. Combined with the lively décor and warm staff, it's a spot I'd happily return to when I'm craving a creative, satisfying breakfast.

We were in the area and stopped by EggBred on a Sunday around 11am. It shares a small parking lot with several establishments but people are constantly coming and leaving so finding parking wasn't too bad. We got a Bacon, Egg & cheese and The Truffle Crunch. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese was okay; I didn't think it was worth the price since it was pretty much what you would expect. The Truffle Crunch was delicious, it had an umami flavor and the meat was pretty juicy. It comes with arugula which helps balance out the flavors. Drinks are free with yelp check in so we got a Strawberry Refresher and a cold brew. The strawberry refresher doesn't come with ice but it was still refreshing for a hot summer day. It's not too sweet and not too sour, a perfect balance! The cold brew was a delight and went down smoothly with no bitter aftertaste. Overall, a little bit on the expensive side but I will definitely come back to try other sandwiches when im in the area. read more

I love this place so much every opportunity to have eat here I take. Woke up craving their food. Went in today not realizing they were about to close in 10 minutes I was about to walk out but ended ordering. Omg the country fried sandwich' was AMAZING that gravy is top tier, it was simply perfection. The service was great, the staff was courteous and amazing order was done quickly even though they were closing in ten minutes. read more

Since our first visit was the very day they opened I'd like to offer an update. We've been back at least 4 times since then and every time it's wonderful. Great service, safety precautions taken, amazing food. They even have an order online option now which is so dangerous because it makes it that much easier for me to get potatoes smothered in hollandaise to stuff into my mouth. read more

I want to like this place. Really. The staffs are so nice and the design for the store is on point! Sandwiches are very yummy but also expensive. 2 sandwiches plus a orange juice costed us $30... The tables and chairs aren't wiped down, sticky. We were gonna eat there but the environment just wasn't very good and just wasn't clean enough during this pandemic. Overall I would suggest it to people that are new in town or something but personally I didn't like how expensive it was. read more

Called ahead to order and our order was ready a few minutes early. We ordered the poutine, a couple sandwiches and the red velvet blueberry waffles. Everything was pretty good. The poutine was a bit heavy but that's what a poutine is so I don't hold that against them. Ingredients were very fresh and you could tell that a lot of care was put into it. read more

Ordered ahead and got a confirmation for the food to be ready at 12:01pm. Got here exactly at 12:05 and asked an employee if my food was ready, she pointed at the receipt order and said it would be out in a few minutes. 20 minutes pass by and I ask another employee, she grabbed my food where the previous employee had pointed too and gave it to me, I've been waiting for the last 20 minutes and our fucking food and it was sitting right in front of me and this incompetent employee. Absolutely loved the egg sandwiches from Eggbred. They have so many delicious options that are sure to fit the taste of everyone. I got to try their nashville hottie and breakfast poutine! They were both AMAZING! The nashville hottie came with a wonderfully seasoned fried chicken that was super crispy and was complemented by a very nice slaw! The Breakfast Poutine was also hit the spot! The tater tots were so crispy and tasted awesome with the popcorn chicken and gravy! I'm a sucker for sunny side up eggs and love popping them and using the yolk the sauce in the sauce of the poutine. Definitely Recommend trying them out. read more

This place is super popular and for good reason. Food is great and the service is awesome. You can see the staff working really hard in a pretty small kitchen but they know how to crank it out. For our to-go order, we placed an online order and it was super convenient. They let me use the yelp check-in to get a free drink. When I got home, they did forget a sandwich but we had ordered extra so we were fine. I called them during a non-peak period and they resolved it. They were super apologetic. So, if anything, remember to check your order before leaving! read more

Came for Saturday lunch around noon with family. It took ~35min to order and another ~25min for the food to come out... not recommended for families with young kids as it takes about an hour before you can start eating... This was great! We had a variety of sandwiches and they were all fantastic. I'd gladly pat a few dollars more here and support better quality food and a small business compared to popeyes or whatever. I'm telling you......my sandwich could have been 10.00 more than chic fil a and I'd pay. A few bucks more was a bargain. Delicious! If I was forced to conjure up a complaint it would be it's a fairly small space. On the weekend that could be problematic. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Ordered through DoorDash directly from eggbred website. Food was good but highly annoyed that they forgot to give me cold brew coffee with my order . I was really looking forward to the cold brew. They need to remember to give their customers their beverages , last time when I went in person to order they almost forgot our drinks again. Not sure if I will order delivery again. read more

The food's here definitely one of the best. As soon as you walk in the door you can tell the quality that they provide. One of the better things is the fact that they use different spices and Seasonings what you do not really get at a lot of other restaurants. Also the fact that many of the people that work there also eat at the location. That has how you can tell if a food establishment actually has quality food. If you see the employees eating it then you know it is really good read more

I didn't take pictures, but all the pictures here are accurate. We got the red velvet waffle and the sausage sandwich and the egg Benedict plate. The sausage sandwich has a cajun boil flavor. The flavor mirrors a seafood boil flavor, like a shrimp or crab boil, yes like at kickin crab or something. I'ts very..... interesting. The waffle was covered with a yogurt. It has a very faint hint of cream cheese flavor but its very clearly yogurt. So its a relatively thick/cake waffle smothered in yogurt and topped with berries. The plate I got I can't remember the name of it but it had seasoned potatoes, Black Forest ham, 1 tiny egg, and hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were more like wedges and again, heavily seasoned. The egg was cooked beautifully, however there was only 1, and it was super super tiny, It legit might have been a quail egg. It came with some arugala salad that I didn't taste because it didn't look like it matched everything else. Overall I think for my personal palette I give this place 2 stars. Now... Everything was cooked beautifully and presentation was on point. I personally didn't really like the food and the interesting new flavors it brings. But everything was made and presented beautifully so I can't fault them. My fiancé loved the food so, we will be back. read more

My 8month pregnancy cravings brought me into this establishment, and boy were they satisfied! The girl at the register (beautiful white girl) sorry I didn't get her name was so kind to us and explained the menu to us. She was so helpful and kind. They even offered me a water bottle instead of tap because I was pregnant. How sweet!!! We got the The Country fried chicken and the sausage and egg sandwich. It was soo yummy. The bread was soft and fluffy and the sausage was seasoned well! My husband liked his country fried chicken as well. He paid extra for the Nashville hot chicken. He did mention he wished it was spicier, but he is used to the hottest level at hotties in Nashville lol. Not everyone wants to burn their mouths babe! Lol. Once we finished, what looked like the manager stopped working in the kitchen to make sure everything was good. So kind once again!! I really felt the customer service to go with our meal ! This is my second time here. I first ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich, scrambled me softly sandwich, and the beer battered potatoes. There was a little confusion on my part with the order because we wanted the egg to be fully cooked but accidentally requested something else, (we did online order) probably "over hard" instead of scrambled. We got a call on our way there asking for some clarification on the order and we got it straightened out. Great customer service. The food was amazing. We couldn't wait to get home, we ate it in the car. Eggs were perfectly cooked to our liking and the bread was exceptional. The potatoes were addicting and flavorful. The second time we went, we got the Ben Franklin sandwich and the Country Fried Chicken sandwich. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. Even the pickles were amazing. Though the sauces/sides that were included with both entrees weren't exceedingly outstanding (the gravy and the hollandaise). I personally think the sandwiches are fabulous enough as it is. It was good that they were served in separate containers so you don't have to use them. Amazing food, excellent and on time service, the list goes on. We come here often and love the food! This weekend, some Doordash malfunction caused us to never receive our notification that the food was ready, and when we finally gave up on the app and went inside to check, the food had been ready for over 45 mins -- and was cold. The staff was on top of the problem (even though it wasn't 100% their issue), and they whipped us up a new breakfast in no time. The place was slammed, to boot. Eggbred is in the newly redeveloped strip mall off of Harbor Blvd and Imperial Hwy in the city of La Habra, CA. We wanted to create one of the best breakfast restaurants that provides the surrounding community with delicious fresh food in a fast casual environment. Holding onto the philosophy of fresh cooked food, served fast and with a smile; we stand apart by making our ingredients from scratch. We use cage-free eggs, make our sauces in-house, grind our own sausage, chorizo, and brisket burger patties, and many more. We care about the quality and the consistency of execution, and that's exactly what you will get at EggBred. My friend said it melted on her mouth and the fresh mash potatoes- just right. Did I mention the portions were huge! Lots of goodies to take with us. To add to the dining experience we watched as patrons steadily came and went throughout the evening. You can tell this is a favorite for many. There were High-5s, handshakes and lots of "Welcome back friends!" Just an overall beautifully decked out neighborhood restaurant with so much heart and soul. I think I like the area better. It's part of a much larger shopping area than the my normal spot, but it's well away from the freeway, which means you're getting less of that road weary crowd and more of the people who want to be there. I don't know how often I'll be going to this location because it's kind of far from home, but it's nice to know there are alternatives when I'm feeling like 5-6 pieces of fish and have grown weary of average service elsewhere. Good service is a nice bonus and this one has that in spades over its sister spots.

Eggbred has been popping up on my social media feeds and since I'm all about trying new places, I was excited to try this new breakfast/lunch place! It's located in the new plaza in La Habra, THE ROW with other eateries and Club pilates! (Drive slow, because I missed the entrance). There was ample parking in the front and back. The first time I went, was day 2 of their soft opening, and the line was out the door. I didn't mind waiting even though it was hot outside, because there's so many cute photo ops and decor to look at! So unique and creative to create a space that is dedicated to eggs! I spy Mr. Burns! On my visit, I tried the cheeseburger, arugula salad, potatoes, biscuit (could be softer and warmer)/gravy (MUST TRY), and the red velvet waffles! Everything was delicious, especially with the bread they put on it! I thought it would be heavy and greasy, but not at all! The red velvet waffles were first aesthetically beautiful and was the perfect way to end the meal! What impressed me most was their beverage selections. Being an avid coffee drinker, I am VERY particular with my coffee. But the Rhost cold brew there is OH MY GOODNESS--probably the best I've ever had! They also have a variety of Pressed juices, beer, champagne for mimosas and more. If you love breakfast and especially eggs, I would recommend coming here. We recently visited Eggbred and tried the Benny breakfast burrito, which includes Black Forest ham and hollandaise, and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich, along with the beer-battered potatoes. The sandwich wasn't our favorite, as it had a pimento-like spread from the roasted pepper chimichurri. However, the breakfast burrito was pretty solid, though we would have loved a bit more crunch or crispy factor in it. My wife came in today to bring the family some food. It took about 30 minutes for my order I got cold eggs in my burrito and cold queso? I am confused why if she had to wait 30 minutes at least have the food be fresh. I am tired of places promoting fast fresh food when this simply isn't the case. Great little place to eat something different. We were a party of four meeting up to discuss vacation details. We ate outside and had plenty of room and privacy. The food was good and the service was good. They had this great green salsa that they served with everyone's burritos. I would definitely go back. The only thing that bothered me was the plastic containers they set our burritos in. Completely wasteful unless you were taking leftovers home. read more

Absolutely incredible chicken. I had the chicken breakfast sandwich Nashville hot and it had to be the best tasting chicken sandwich I've had. I just had Dave's hot chicken yday and was a little disappointed in how dry it was, but this this place knows how to do chicken. The Nashville hot isn't hot but it is flavorful and every bite was so damn juicy. I drove 40miles to try this and I will be back again very soon. read more

Sooo freaking amazing! I had their bennies on the rocks which was deliciously seasoned, egg sous vide perfectly with fresh arugula and fresh hollandaise sauce so mouth watering.
