We were excited to try this place as the food on the resort is pretty bad. We ordered French toast and California omelettes. All of our food was cold and we can chop that up to it being delivery, but none of it had any heat to it. The French toast and waffle fries were good but the omelette was disgusting. No one put any care into making this and there were too many veggies and it was over cooked. We won't eat here again-first and last time. read more

First timers. No wait for a table as we arrived about 8:30. From then, things moved sloooow. We ordered Kona pour overs and didn't see them for 15 minutes. By then, they had cooled quite a bit. Still tasty, but needed to get to us without the wait. Server was slow to take our food order as well. Then the food arrived in spurts, first for my wife and finally 5 minutes later for me. Her side of bacon arrived after she had eaten half of her omelette and it was unevenly cooked (crisp in some sections, soft in others). My smoked salmon benedict had cold hollandaise sauce so had to send it back and they made a new plate, arrived 10 minutes later. Overall food was good, but not worth the wait inside (and we wouldn't have waited outside at all). There are much better places with good service and great food. Eggs Benedict was subpar. Got the Cali and veggie. Eggs were undercooked. Daughter had French toast she said it was ok. Son has açaí bowl- they had no bananas though which is his favorite. The lemonade was horrible. Apple juice and orange juice is just standard store bought stuff. read more

My fiancé and I were finally able to try this place out! As of 6/6/21 they are prioritizing reservations so make sure to call ahead to reserve a table or prepare for a 30 min - 45 min wait. Their options are extensive and unique for both food and drink items. My fiancé and I ordered a latte and a mocha, they make their own syrups which is really cool but their customizable options are a little limited. I didn't want to seem like a coffee snob, although being a barista I tend to be, so I went simple. It was pretty standard but the coffee is KICKIN, really feeling the caffeine pumpin. For the food I ordered a porky bowl and my fiancé ordered the pork belly omelette. The bowl was not for me! But that's honestly just my flavor preference. The size was also very small. If you're used to plate lunch, I'd compare it to a mini size plate but it's almost $10. So for the size, I don't think it's worth it and since I didn't like the flavor I ended up ordering the popeye omelette. My fiancé also didn't get the cheese he requested but we were still charged for it. My popeye omelette was very delicious but again, for $13 I usually don't finish my plate but it was not a challenge for their portions. I finished my plate easily which left me a little disappointed for the price. Overall we spent $55 on breakfast (!!!) and only brought home the porky bowl because I didn't like it and didn't want to send it back. That's a super expensive breakfast in my opinion and to leave without leftovers for that price is disappointing. With all that being said, our server Clint was amazing and the best. He was very attentive and running the entire floor and every table without any frustration. We were about to try this eats when the pandemic closed every restaurant. We were delighted to be able to eat here when they resumed modified operations for social distancing. Love love love the food and service at Egghead Cafe! We come here almost once a week for breakfast, and always feel safe with the covid precautions in place. We are asked a few questions and have our temperatures checked before entering the restaurant. The tables are way more than 6 feet apart and all the waiters wear masks. The plates, cups, and utensils are disposable as well. I always get the pork belly Benedict, while my family orders the classic Benedict and the Cali Cali Benedict. All are amazing in quality and taste! It comes with a salad, which is refreshing and light. We often have Clint as our waiter, who we love! He is so friendly and nice, which is such a breath of fresh air during these dark times. Parking is never an issue, as the parking lot is fairly big to accommodate the entire shopping center. First time trying Egghead cafe and it was pretty good. We waiting about 20min to be seat. The wait staff was very friendly. However, after our waiter took our order she was not seen again until we needed to pay the check. She not once came to refill our glasses. Other waiters working came to check on us and deliver our food and drinks. I tried the vanilla bean latte and it was delicious. It was just the right amount of sweet. The pork belly benedict was very good. I wished they put more hollandaise sauce. So if you're ordering any of the benefits, ask for extra sauce on the side. The meat wasnt as tender as I was hoping as well. Overall it was pretty tasty. This place has alot of potential. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. I will definitely we back. My husband and I had breakfast there and I have decided that THIS IS MY FAVORITE place to dine for breakfast. I had the classic eggs Benedict. It did not have the traditional English muffin, instead it had 2 pc of sliced French bread and it really did go together! The eggs were done perfect! Not too runny and not to overcooked. I loved the side salad greens that it comes with and the Lilikoi dressings was da bomb!! I also wanted to try the Hawaiian pancakes and wow, sweet potatoes mixed in w/ the batter and huge chunks too and the haupia all over it on top was so heavenly!!!! NO NEED SYRUP!!! My hubby had the bacon and shrimp omelet and for him it was a lil too salty and felt that if he had rice with it, it cut down on the saltiness?
