Recently tried this place, and yes it's defiantly a hidden gem in Dedham Square. It is on the pricier side, but as every thing has gone up so has some resturant pricing in general. I ordered the Spicy Basil Pad Thai with tofu and it is so flavorful. I also ordered the pineapple fried rice, duck noodle soup, Egg and Thai chicken wings, crab Rangoon and roti with chicken curry. It was delicious! The chicken wings had a really great kick to it and great after spicy kick! I definitely will order again. Treat yourself people! read more

My husband and I enjoyed it here and plan to return soon. I am new to the area from Atlanta where there are premier award-winning Thai restaurants. The food here was great! Service was a little slow, but not too bad considering the freshness of the food. Very cute & quaint spot and the food tasted authentic. First of all, they are very nice. A while ago, I decided that I'm going to avoid doing business with people who are unreasonably unpleasant. Not grumpy- or having a bad day but consistently unkind. This is a place you could easily pass by but it is well done. Not a romantic spot unless you and your date transcend the ordinary. If you ever dine there know that it a super low key atmosphere, not trying to to dress up. Their food is straight up delicious. I Love everything I've had from the place except the fresh rolls, which I dislike because of a curious choice of lettuces- the red leaf and similar don't do the trick in my opinion, however all they do is fresh and tasty. New Year's Eve tonight and they deserve a shout out. They call you after online ordering to collect payment which is different but the woman who called was warm and endearing. The food arrived at a reasonable time especially for NYE and was so fresh and delicious. I wanted Thai and decided it was a good opportunity to try Eggs & Thai Cafe out in Dedham. Parking was a tad questionable with the meter spots on High Street subject to a 1 hour limit through 8pm, and I didn't want to be running out an hour later to either move the car or to pay again for another hour. With a bit of effort, we managed to find spots for both our vehicles that would work out for the full evening meal. Eggs & Thai is located in the basement of a two story brown shingled structure with a couple of lawyers on the ground floor with signs hung up above their doors. Entrance to the Thai spot is reachable through a private street which greatly resembles a driveway - Kings Court - with the restaurant itself several steps below its entrance. Although lunch prices and dinner prices coexist on their menu, I spotted a sign posted by the foyer informationally announcing that their dinner prices are in affect on weekends. They are also closed on Mondays. When I spotted Thai Iced Tea $2.95 on the table, I couldn't resist ordering one for myself, with less ice though, which they kindly obliged. The bowl of soup - Tom Yum $4.95, I presume - was generous for one. Eggs & Thai Wings $6.95 crispy wings mixed with onions, rice powder, cilantro and scallions in spiced lime sauce were 6 pieces to an order, and sufficiently crispy and flavorful. Chicken Satay $6.95 barbecued chicken skewers served with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce arrived 4 chicken tenderloins to the plate. Though okay, we've had better at another local spot. Shrimp Papaya Salad with Sticky Rice $10.95 Shredded green papaya, shrimp, tomatoes, and string beans tossed in lime, chili and peanuts and Chicken Wrap with Sticky Rice $13.95 Ground chicken with red onions, scallions, cilantro and rice powder in spicy lime sauce were a bit too hot for me to have more than a taste of. We enjoyed both the Mango Fried Rice $11.95 Shrimp, chicken, egg, onions, tomatoes, scallions, peas, mangoes and snow peas and their Pad Woon Sen $10.95 Stir-fried clear noodles in light brown sauce with eggs, onions, carrots, snow peas, pea pods, Napa cabbage and scallions. Last to the table was the Pad Thai $10.95 Famous Thai noodles stir-fried with shrimp, chicken, eggs, scallions, bean sprouts and ground peanuts, which we suspect had been forgotten. Though it tends to be my favorite Thai dish, I suspect that this one may had been all too quickly whipped up, and as a result, the noodles were a bit less tender than it ought to be. Birthdays are treated with joy here. Come and experience it for yourself! I liked their Mango with Sticky Rice $5.95 more than the Chocolate Mousse $5.95, and look forward to returning to try more dishes. 3.5 stars read more

Delicious ! This place is exactly what is stated. A little hidden gem that can be easily missed if your driving by. Parking is a little tricky when here is very limited parking. So be on the look out for street parking during busy time their parking lot probably only can host 3 car max. I got a take out ~ and coming from LA I've definitely had my fair share of yummy Thai food. This place was delicious:) their kraw pow was definitely exceeded my expectation. A small, cozy restaurant offering Thai food full of flavor! I've been there twice (the second time because I had to go back for their Spicy Basil Pad Thai) and both times was delighted. My noodles were fresh, had that great chewy rice noodle texture, and were well seasoned. I ordered them medium spicy which was just right for me (I have above average but not top level spice tolerance). Appetizers like the fresh summer rolls were great too. Service is quick and adaptable (the waitress was able to accommodate for my friend's shrimp allergy) and they were nice enough to let my friends and I hang out at the restaurant for a while after we finished eating! It is so great to have a Thai restaurant in Dedham. We tried Eggs and Thai for lunch on a Saturday. Service was great! We had Tod Mun, my favorite Thai appetizer, and it was delicious. One of the most authentic I have had so far in the Boston area. We also has Drunken noodles and Spicy basil Pad Thai both really good. It is exciting to know that they deliver as well. We will definitely go back and also get delivery! I had to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars because my daughter fought with me to finish up my leftovers! read more

Glad to have discovered this place. Its sort of hidden in the back and not easy to notice from the street which in a way ultimately adds to the appeal to this hidden gem. The food is first of all nicely priced. Between $8 and $15 for a dinner entree. I had the seafood krapow (~$14) which was great. Scallops, shrimp, and squid and a good assortment of fresh vegetables (including fresh jalapenos!). Rice was extra at $1.50 Still am learning to accept that rice is extra around these parts. Service was super friendly and rather intimate. Just one waitress for the whole place which has approximately 10 tables. Only 3 were occupied. Seems like this place does mostly take out / delivery but we enjoyed our dine in experience. We will definitely return when in the mood for thai. read more

I was always a little curious about this joint--thought it was a breakfast place according to the name!! But it's Thai food:). We ordered the Thai chicken wings and they were full of delicious garlic and cilantro--fresh! Loved them sooo much!!!! I picked them up and they were very timely. The chicken ginger dish which was very nice, tasty with a delicious sauce. I wasn't overly impressed by the shrimp pad Thai which needed more sauce, crushed peanuts and maybe some bean sprouts and green onions? This restaurant is pretty close to where I live. I'd go there more if parking was better. It's not bad, but it's not good either. You can park in a metered space if you can find one of the few. Or, you might find a spot down the street and around the corner. Definitely not ideal to run in and pick up takeout or even to sit in. The food has been great, wonderful flavor and spice you'd expect from a Thai restaurant. Spring rolls are skimpy with the shrimp, but taste fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the wait staff is pretty good when I eat in. It's a small but nice, quiet atmosphere to meet someone for lunch, or dinner. My favorites there are the pad thai, and drunken noodles, but I have never had a bad meal there. I recommend you give it a try because the food is great, it's just the parking that might be a turnoff. Then again, you just might get lucky when you go, because it's all about timing. I got pad Thai which was very disappointing ...parts of the topping were just big dry clumps ..not much else going on to redeem it. Shrimp rolls were flavorless cold and unappetizing. I'm so upset that I have never been here before! It is so good! I had no idea it existed. I started with the dumpling soup and spring rolls. The spring rolls were so crispy and flavor full...served with a sweet chili sauce and the dumpling soup was light but tasted so healthy. I ordered the lunch box special, it was portioned out perfectly.. not too much food but I still brought home left overs. My boyfriend started off with the scallion pancakes which were the best ones I've ever had. They served them with some kind of Szechuan sauce with scallions. And he had the kimchi noodles.
