Lovely little spot. We got the chance to meet the management as my gf and I frequent their brunch hours on sundays. It's cute, service is kind and fast, and the breakfast food is always great! Visited the restaurant based on the reviews. The food was amazing. BUT the service was horrible. After we received our food the waitress totally ignored us . I asked for jelly she came by tossed it on the table and kept going. Never came back to see if we needed drink refills. A guest brought a pet into the restaurant and the had him sit outside. The waitress , then asked the patron to put his dog just on the other side of the road iron partition. He refused. Very disappointed with the service. We enjoyed our meal and understand they were busy but were rushed the entire time. We sat at our table for under an hour (35 mins total) before the hostess came over and asked us to get up from our table bcuz another group needed it. I understand we had just paid the check but this was ridiculous. The restaurant was half full bcuz they were understaffed meaning they could have easily had the server go to another table unused and sit the next group there while we were sitting. Pathetic restaurant service and management. Refused to-go order because it backs their kitchen up for the other customers. So customers eating inside the restaurant are more important than those of us who are handicap and unable to sit in the restaurant to eat. I called to place an order and have it picked up for me because I am handicap and unable to sit in a restaurant as I had hip surgery and am bed-ridden. I pay the same exact prices as anyone else sitting inside the restaurant to eat. Every other restaurant with waits still take to-go orders. Despite what their food may taste like, know that this level of customer service is completely uncalled for. I can promise I won't eat here again, regardless, just based off of this interaction. Apparently those handicap and unable to eat there can't eat there at all. Way to make those with handicaps or disabilities feel as important a customer as everyone else. read more

Totally wrote my review for the wrong location! :( This is the correct location! This was my first time at this place - as I do not live in SC. My friends brought me here as part of a surprise trip for my birthday. The service was pretty good for the most part - our waitress was very sweet and she was quite helpful. I ordered the Eggs Benedict (mediocre) with a side of potatoes (oddly were very VERY under-seasoned) but once I threw some salt on there, they were pretty tasty. I also ordered a bananas foster french toast, which is probably easily the best thing they have on their menu (I mean obviously I don't know for sure, but just order it.. trust me). My friend had like a build your own omelette type of situation going on, and she also ordered the sweet potato pancakes on the side (skip that - I wanted to like them but the main turn off was the texture that the pancakes ended up being... super wet... ick). My other friend ordered some type of omelette as well with a half waffle on the side. The waffle was decent, but nowhere near even in the same postal code as that french toast. Overall, I thought this place was pretty cute and was worth the visit. I would definitely go back at least one more time, just to get that french toast, if nothing else! read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Columbia. The food is always fresh and prepared properly. I have eaten at this location over a dozen times and each time it is excellent. The choices are plentiful, too. I always order the 1/2 waffle, scambled eggs and bacon along with coffee. I do miss their pecan waffle alot. They now have Praline pecans, but it's better with the plain pecans. Love this place! read more

Good company while eating brunch on Thursday. I made an initial post and promised to the end result. I ordered the Sweet Potato Waffle and grits. This was truly delicious, the syrup that came with the waffle was delicious! My waffle was nice, fluffy, and the ends were crunchy (just how I like it)! My grits were delicious as well, not too buttery at all. The customer service was on point from beginning to end. Trust me when I tell you I will be a returning customer especially since I am most importantly huge on customer service. But my husband didn't mind! Usually he grabs the corn beef and eggs entree and they gave us the corn beef and eggs Benedict. He was a little confused at first, but overall still good. I always recommend their corn beef hash, their hot chocolate, and their cuppa coacoa (it's coffee and hot chocolate). Anything you try, you'll like.
