Really everything was egg cellent as they say. I didnt read any other reviews before coming, however our friends wanted to go here. The classic egg breakfast is what we ordered with coffee. Both of us ordered it. I was going to order something else but I have to agree the prices are way too much. So we just got basically the cheapest thing we could get. Our bill was still $20 and change. I just gave them $25 and called it a day. We did receive great service and atmosphere was just like any other breakfast place. No real complaint except over priced we thought. Guess it shows we dont eat breakfast out much. At this price we wont very much. Great service every time. Friendly and very positive vibe. I get the "Little Waffle in the Hen House" which is 2 eggs, a whole or half waffle and bacon or sausage often. Second time at restaurant didn't improve my perception. First time years ago I couldn't call in an order over phone and had to do it in person which I did. Waited for order and realized when I got home several items were left off and portions were very small. Then Just today went with large group and gave it a second chance. I wanted certain a la carte items and waitress insisted on changing it to a menu meal item with changes. When food arrived for party over a period 10 minutes my order was missing some of the changes that the waitress insisted on and biscuit was hard. Other items were missing from other plates. No one came to ask is everything good or do we need anything. But where was our waitress?? I Didn't see her again at the tablfor 45 minutes , 45minutes later when she brought the check and asked if folks wanted boxes with empty coffee mugs. Large group can present a challenge but come on. When I commented to her the extra items were left off her the response was lacking a level genuine response when I found out someone paid the check already with tips for a large party. I know that it is tough work but when I saw her chatting at length with another waitress a half dozen times at the order station. ......Just frustrating. read more

Our food and service was fantastic. However, we specifically choose Eggs Up because they listed limited seating and social distancing in their covid protocol/safety measures. The restaurant was crowded and every single table was full. Additionally, our waitress kept her mask under her nose. Updated 4/20 I finally had the chance to get by in person for a breakfast meeting yesterday. Food was just as good in house! The service was friendly and quick, I got exactly what I ordered, and it was delicious (and a huge portion, I couldn't finish it!). Me and the wife had extra time this morning and she wanted to go eat breakfast so me being me and not wanting to eat at a chain looked on yelp and found this place. We absolutely loved it..the place was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the corn beef hash and eggs and it was really good..but the star of this show was the banana's Foster French Toast! She raved about it bite after bite and I wondered was she gonna offer me a bite..and when she did..oh my!! There seem to be some confusion on the seating when we first arrived. The staff was very friendly, and the food even came out quickly. The taste of the food was just not impressive. I had an omelet that was burnt , the home fries were extremely mushy, but on a happy note the raisin bread was really good. My fiance got the Mason-Dixon breakfast and a grilled blueberry muffin. Her eggs were burned as well. The biscuits and gravy lacks flavor and the blueberry muffin was missing sugar. It did not taste sweet. I may give this place another chance for lunch, but ask for breakfast I'm still disappointed, and it will be a while before I'm back. read more

This place is so good. They use iPhones to take your order which makes the communication between servers and cooks super fast. The food is always hot and prepared perfectly.
