Had breakfast at Eggs Up today. Happy this has come to Lexington. Quick 10 minute wait to be seated which we thought was very reasonable for a Saturday. Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean and decorated very well. It did take about 40 minutes for the food to arrive which did seem a little longer than it should have however the first bite of pancakes made me forget. Those pancakes were bites of heaven! We also tried a home fry platter - yum! So if you are not in a hurry Eggs Up in Lexington is a breakfast win! read more

Eggs Up in Lexington is our favorite breakfast spot. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile. The hostesses are sweet and professional. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. The selection is great. The owner is very hands-on and keeps the restaurant flowing so if you have to wait, it is minimal. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I recommend the Hot Trio Sandwich but you will be happy with anything. It is all delicious. read more

I've been here twice and the food was amazing both times. It's like having a home cooked breakfast without having to cook and clean up after yourself. The hot chocolate is tasty with a large mound of whipped cream on top which we loved! The staff is always kind and friendly. Carnivore got Buttermilk pancakes with potatoes and bacon - pancakes were thick and fluffy with great taste; potatoes were average, no special seasoning. I have had breakfast numerous times at your location in Irmo. So to my surprise this morning, this location does not uphold the brand standards that I'm use to in your other location. I'm a single father with two boys, 2 & 1. 10 minutes I stood in your entry as your hostess never even acknowledged my existence. Then as more people come in to be sat, she began seating them and still never acknowledged me. I began to leave as my oldest started crying and I leaned on to tell the hostess of her mishap, and she never looked me in the eye, and still didn't acknowledge me. I want to like this eggs up as much as the Devine street location, but they cannot seem to cook eggs without burning them. The good: the cuppa cocoa was delicious and the server was pleasant. My husband and I visited for an after-church breakfast around 11:00 on Sunday. There was a 30-40 minute wait which if the food is good; no big deal. We were seated in 35 minutes and the ones waiting before and after us had cleared out. We ordered our food and found yet another line at both and the women's & men's restrooms when we went to wash our hands. Again, if the food is good; no big deal. Unfortunately, when we received our food, the eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes were barely lukewarm. It made the food a little less than desirable.
